My first acquaintance with Alakol happened thanks to the Flamingo Recreation Area, I am very glad about it! A cozy area, clean, spacious rooms, all conditions for a wonderful holiday, always friendly Murat agha and his son Daniyar. It's like you've come home with them, you're so welcome and so caring and attentive! The food is good and varied, it has never been repeated in a week, and the portions are good. There is also a meeting from the train and they take you to the beach in the morning and afternoon. I highly recommend it!!!

This year, for the first time, we rested in this recreation area. Everything was great, the prices for accommodation + meals are perfect, cheaper in many others but with excellent service. We got to July in a period when there were not many people, and from this the rest was perfect, the food was very tasty, every day there is a different menu, the bus takes you to the beach for 5 minutes and you are on the beach, there are reasonable prices nearby shops. I liked everything, a lot of greenery, shade mostly, a playground, there is a bar. I definitely recommend it. We will definitely come back here next year)!

We rested for 2 days on the way from Almaty to Novosibirsk. Hospitable hosts, the administrator Daniyar is ready to quickly resolve the issue. Good food, even fastidious children ate)). Transfer to the beach is generally a fire. They are taken to the beach after breakfast and lunch by bus and also picked up from the beach according to the schedule. There are disadvantages in the rooms, of course, but not critical.
Unfortunately, I did not like the public beach of Koktuma. It is dirty, not equipped at all, the pebbles are very large (it is possible to walk only in special shoes). The water is good, quite clean and warm. Vacationers drive cars straight to the water.
