The best restaurant in Semey. The cuisine is excellent (they use their own cheese factory, there are handmade cheese candies), the staff is very attentive, responsive, the atmosphere is cozy, live music on weekends, prices are reasonable. There is a children's playground, which is very convenient. We spend all our birthdays and family evenings at the Golden Calf Thank you to the hosts for keeping the bar high over the years!

We celebrated my son's 11th birthday. There were 5 of us. Apart from the furniture and homemade wine, I didn't like anything!! We ordered a meat set- the price is too high, to put it mildly, for such a small amount of meat, even fewer vegetables. I'm honestly shocked!!..Chicken chops are not bad!! Caesar and eggplant salads are not bad either, but the portions are tiny!! The wine is excellent, it's the only thing that was delicious!! They asked the girls to bring a cake with a lit candle. But they just brought us a cake. And they didn't even unpack the candles. They couldn't find any matches or a lighter. Apparently, this kind of thing is not practiced in this restaurant!! There were very few visitors that day, even though it was Friday night!! At first it surprised me, but then everything became clear!! I would advise you to somehow learn from the experience in cooking and serving dishes, serving from other establishments in the city!!But unfortunately, we are no longer here!!

It's a great place, and the kitchen is awesome. Everything is delicious, the cook is excellent. Please don't lose your zest ❤️ just a godsend for a gourmet
