We are resting here at the moment. The hotel is a good family hotel, lots of people with children. The food is delicious. Fish, turkey, beef, chicken, fruits, vegetables, ice cream every day, the only minus is freshly squeezed juice for a fee. The beach is nice, clean sand, the entrance to the sea is gentle sand. The rooms are large, there is not much cleaning, but this is because there are a lot of people at this time, garbage is thrown out every day, vacuumed and cleaned, the bathroom is cleaned, no one will fill the beds for you every day, only after 3 days when the linen is changed. The towel is changed on request. The staff is helpful. The territory is large and well maintained. If we consider a 4* hotel and this one (for the price), then definitely this one. The first line is 1 minute to the sea)).
Family vacation (June 2024)
What can I say about the advantages:
- nice green area
-many pools, water slides
-cleaning of the territory and the beach is present
-the entrance to the sea for children is excellent, the sea is clean, there is a pier
-evening programs more or less, you can pass the time (mostly dancing)
-delicious ice cream (they give it from 15 to 18 and it's better to come by 16:30 to 18:00, there will be less queue)
-a decent lobby bar, the guys there are cool and make delicious cocktails (by the way, cocktails and beer tastes better than on the beach and in the snack bar)
-a good snack bar (they work according to the menu and are delicious), surprisingly, but even tastier than in the main restaurant
Now to the cons:
Restaurant
-dirty plates in the restaurant (lots of dirty plates)
-in the morning, the chefs work sooo slowly at breakfast, breakfast starts at 7:30, and many hot dishes, such as scrambled eggs, donuts, pancakes, omelets, are not ready by this time, hence the long queues, clearly not enough staff
-they do not clean and wipe the tables well, they just do not have time (a problem for many hotels and not only in Turkey)
-the food is the main disadvantage, it is for a maximum of 3: salads of questionable quality, there is no variety of fruits, there are no Turkish sweets (baklava, lukum, mostly cakes, there were a couple of days for the Eid al-Adha holiday and that's it, then cakes again), vegetables are not always of the best quality, stewed dishes are delicious, but the grill is always half-cooked (especially chicken) and huge queues, grilled fish are fried right with scales and it's bony, I haven't tried soups, beer and cocktails are excellent (cocktails are made better in the lobby than on the beach and beer is better)
- there is a pastry shop room, but it does not work
A wish to the director of the hotel: change the chef, the food does not even reach 4 stars (there is something to compare it with)
Pool and beach:
-sunbeds, namely their shortage: people are occupied in the evening by some with cowards, some with children's slippers, who, in general, appear at the sunbeds at best by 10-11, when they get enough sleep, and those who are already leaving (with small children) in the morning have nowhere to lie down.
-the shower at the beach bar of the Select is falling apart, the handles are falling off, the water is barely running, in the toilet at the snack bar, too, 1 sink out of 3 only works in the men's toilet
-On the beach, many sunbeds are cracked and need to be replaced, and most of all I was struck by stray dogs (counted 3 pieces) who roam the beach, swim, dig holes in the sand, and then sleep with vacationers in the shade next to the sunbeds. Yes, they seem harmless, but no one chases them (apparently lured by the hotel), and some vacationers clearly did not like their presence.
Rooms:
-weak water pressure when everyone abruptly starts to wash (especially before dinner) and not always hot water
-cleaning: only garbage removal and water replenishment, replacement of towels on request, bed linen too, vacuuming and dusting and the floor in the bathroom and on the balcony will not even be without tips at all
- mosquitoes: we were bitten well at night, so take a fumigator or sprays from these insects
with you - the air conditioner was always turned off at night, and one day it broke down altogether and was repaired only a day later (a team from Antalya was called)
Verdict: a very budget five, even more like a minus four, with a good green area, a good beach and entrance to the sea, relatively good rooms, but the problem with food is here! Keep in mind!
I had a rest in August 2024. The disadvantages of the hotel are much more than the advantages.
Of the advantages:
- beautiful view from the sea View rooms. The most beautiful small bay, as in the palm of your hand!
- Wonderful sea-transparent, warm, calm. Sandy beach, gentle entry into the sea.
-delicious ice cream at the hotel (if you stand in line).
Perhaps the advantages end there🤷🏼♀️
Cons:
-we spent the first two nights in a room without a window! There was a door to the balcony in the nook of the room, but it was closed because "this is the balcony of the next room"! To say that I was shocked is to say nothing!!! We watched the guests of the next room on the balcony ... it was extremely unpleasant, like in some cheap hostel. There is simply no place to dry wet clothes and towels! It was very unpleasant to huddle in a kennel "without windows, without doors" for your own money! I fought as hard as I could, and two nights later we were moved to a room with a sea view. But the first two nights are terrible! I've never seen this anywhere... and the money was paid a lot.
-dining room: very dirty dishes, very dirty tables, very dirty appliances! Everything is very dirty! It's terrible when every trip to the dining room is a quest! First you need to find yourself a clean plate (spoiler-it's impossible, they're not there), then stand in line for food (long queues). Poisoning was not long in coming. I tried to beat him myself for a couple of days, but gave up and went to the doctor for insurance. They put an IV on-it gets better. Advice-do not delay, it is better to consult a doctor right away-you will save time and money.
- tasteless food. That is, you can find something edible, but not tasty. (Although, this is a subjective opinion-maybe someone is normal)
-there is no animation (to whom it is important)
- there are no lifeguards on the beach. I haven't been to the pool, but I haven't seen any lifeguards there either.
- room cleaning is bad. And it's hard to call it cleaning ... in 11 days, the cleaning was done three times, the bed linen was not changed once. To change towels at least 1 time during the rest, I had to call the reception. To call several times. You have to ask the maids for toilet paper.
- the hotel is too big for such a "chamber bay". The beach is small, sun beds need to be occupied in the early morning. By 8 a.m., there are no free sunbeds, and at this time they are just starting to give out beach towels.
- the public toilets in the hotel are very dirty.
- the area is a bit boring-but that's who cares. Across the street there is a village with a tourist area: local shops, pharmacies, cafes, exchangers. Something like a market.
- the hotel offers "shopping" - if you agree, get ready for aggressive marketing and an uninteresting very expensive assortment.
Bottom line: I do not recommend this hotel to anyone and will not return myself. This is certainly not 5 stars ... and not 4. Yes, no matter how many stars there are, it should at least be clean! The attitude towards the guests is extremely dismissive-it is discouraging. For the first time, I desperately wanted to go home ((it's a shame for the time, money and health spent, which I have to restore at home.
In addition, you need to take into account that the hotel is far enough from the airport-the road is exhausting.
