The Winter Garden is a wonderful place in Brest for those who love diverse flora.
I definitely recommend going.
Yesterday, on Sunday, the blooming garden was working, but the garden of continuous flowering was not working.
We asked the employee if the garden of continuous flowering would be open tomorrow, Monday, and they answered in the affirmative.
The website states:
Monday -Friday from 10.00 to 16.00,
Saturday to 13.00,
Specially came with the child at 11, we see the gate is locked. We went around the fence, the guard said that there was an official one on the other side. We went back to the basics, nothing has changed. It's a shame to walk through half the city, lose 2 hours and knock on a closed gate. Why mislead with information on the site and co-workers why are they telling lies?
It hurts to the core. Two days in Brest and half a day in vain.
I put 4 because of my love for plants
I was there, being a tourist, I really liked it! I'm thrilled! I love plants and everything related to them. The exposition is incredible! The exposition is divided into three parts and there is also an upper floor, like a balcony, so that you can look at the plants from above. By the way, there is also an area with parrots. The only pity is that time was running out and I quickly ran through the third location. I will definitely come back here! I recommend you to visit!
.
Unless, the "cashier" at the checkpoint was very upset. He "ran over" me and told me in raised tones that why he couldn't go to the toilet. At the same time, I didn't tell him anything. He just came in and "ran over me."
.
I give the cashier a C. And the winter garden itself has 5 stars. This is an incredibly beautiful place!
The winter garden is just great! It is very beautifully and wonderfully decorated. We had a great time and had a good rest. The staff is very polite and friendly. We will definitely visit again.
There are many unusual exotic plants in the Winter Garden. The exposition is divided into several parts, depending on the types of plants, and each is equipped in its own way. There are also parrots and fish in this botanical garden, and you can also buy plants and souvenirs. Being in this place makes you feel like you're in the Garden of Eden.
It's a beautiful place. There are a lot of different plants. It feels like you're walking into paths. Lots of greenery, accompanied by mini-waterfalls and live exotic birds. Of the cons, a walk of 30-40 minutes, a maximum of an hour, taking into account the photo.
There are many flora from all over the world and the cutest parrots. The variety of plants is huge, here you will find cacti, succulents, lemon and plants up to the ceiling! There are some animals, a few small parrots, a noisy big macaw and fish:3 You can also buy souvenirs on the spot
It impresses and surprises with the variety of flora and fauna. Attentive staff, lack of crowds, convenient location with the central street of the city, where there is an excellent promenade.
And also, the university, near which the garden is located, is a unique architectural heritage of the city of Brest, a building of the last century with its rich history.
This is a unique place where nature and science harmoniously combine. This garden is part of an extensive complex dedicated to the study and conservation of biological diversity.
A charming place, an oasis in the middle of the city. This was especially felt in the early spring . The staff are all very friendly. There are flowers and plants for indoor and outdoor use for 10 rubles.
One of the most favorite places to come back to again. A small but cozy greenhouse, the plants are beautifully maintained both inside and on the territory (I speak as a person with specialized education and work experience in the field). There are plaques for all of them and many explanatory plaques with interesting facts from the world of plants.
A worthy place, proving that Brest is a city where it is comfortable and everything is there, even for fans of botanical pieces. The winter garden was made very diligently and talented, the exposition is multi-level, worked out in depth, really talented. It is accompanied by interesting explanations, and very beautiful and rare parrots. Considering that the work is carried out by only three people, it remains only to take off your hat.
When we arrive in Brest, we visit the Winter Garden for the umpteenth time. It is very beautiful, all the plants are well maintained. A must-visit. You can even buy flowers in a pot and take them away as a souvenir)))
A very pleasant place. There are plants of different species and ages, tropical and subtropical, a succulent garden, ponds, aquariums with fish, parrots of different breeds. There are benches, a place to relax, a coffee machine. The girl at the entrance is very friendly. You can buy seedlings of indoor plants and for the garden.
I liked the Botanical Garden, we went in January 2024, everything was very beautifully decorated, in a New Year's way, it was very hot inside, but there are hangers for clothes, you can safely undress and admire plants, fish and macaws, partridges and budgies. We were very impressed by the large lemons and tangerines, we had never seen such large ones before. We recommend that those who will be in Brest definitely visit the botanical garden. Get a lot of positive emotions. They have free admission days, they have a list hanging at the checkout, there are many free admission days. Maybe there is one on the site.
A winter garden that feels good both in winter and summer!!!! I am very glad that such a garden appeared in our city, and of course our future biology teachers are also happy about this facility!!!
This is the best biological plant museum in Belarus, the number of species is amazing, the entrance ticket costs a penny, but it gives you the opportunity to plunge into all the splendor of this world
I really liked the Winter Garden. Especially the division into zones by plant species. There are also parrots in the garden and plants can be purchased on request. Of course, it would be great if someone told you about the plants and their care. But the Winter Garden is no worse than the Bothnian Garden in Minsk
An amazing place: beautiful both inside and out. An impressive collection of plants, especially a lot of cacti. In September, the citrus fruits bear fruit.
Instagram location!)
A great place, lots of plants, there are cages with different parrots. I really liked it. A very unusual and beautiful building from the outside and inside turned out to be just as beautiful.
Life-size plants exotic for our area. The exposition is well formed by sections.
In summer, it's a little stuffy on the second tier.

A great place for those who love plants and are genuinely interested in them. A wide variety of plants, the presence of parrots, beautiful decoration and placement of live exhibits, guides who are able to present information in a fascinating way. Friendly staff who know their business and are passionate about it.
The opportunity to purchase a flower in a pot as a souvenir.
Like it. Having joined the tour, we listened to interesting facts about plants. Walking along Sovetskaya Street from the railway station, we recommend looking up.
A very beautiful place, definitely worth a visit. There are many different plants, and you can also see how some of them bear fruit. The staff is polite, always happy to tell you about the plants and how to grow them yourself
A very atmospheric place for walking, sightseeing and just having a good time. You immerse yourself in another world, regardless of the weather outside. We have been there many times and each time only positive emotions. Macaw parrots create a special, tropical flavor with their cries :)
It is a very beautiful and decent garden, I am very glad that I visited it, quite by accident. But the accidental is not accidental. I was glad that there is such beauty in Brest. I highly recommend you to visit
The garden is small and very stuffy. This is another one of the few attractions in Brest. I was not impressed. Especially the stuffiness. The staff is polite and friendly, like all Belarusians.
There are no questions about the plants themselves, you can go and see them, especially with children, for sure many people will like them. But the price for viewing flora seems to me too high.
The second disadvantage is marketing, which in my opinion is not entirely correct. We organized an exhibition of butterflies, but to see them for a fee, pay for viewing the flora! (And there is not a word about flora in the advertisement).
A very beautiful place, I really liked it, you can buy some plant seedlings in a pot

A cozy place. In winter / spring, I especially liked it, as you can both warm up and sit in silence and enjoy the birdsong. Very interesting plaques with plant features.
The garden is very beautiful. With parrots, quails and fish. You can take incredible photos in sunlight. The details in this small garden can be considered for a long time. A ticket for students (when submitting documents) costs 3.5 rubles, and for "ordinary mortals" - 7 rubles. So while students are students, this garden can be used as a place for privacy with oneself, as well as for a date.
You can see various plants. The garden is divided into halls, each with its own atmosphere. When you look at the parrots, you can't help but smile; they are very cute.
A mandatory place to visit on a trip to Brest, especially in winter, you can warm up) Many different plants, beautiful decoration, convenient location.
I was not impressed, many people have most of the plants at home now. Very small. Parrots in cages. There are more flowers in any flower shop in Russia. I was also surprised that there are no blooming ones. I do not recommend it. It took 10 minutes to visit this garden.
Briefly about the main thing for those born in the USSR:
"You are plunging into another world
["To listen to the singing of birds and the murmur of water, walking under palm trees and orange trees, to see lemons ripen.
<...> And romantic)"], regardless of the weather outside."
A great collection of plants and... WHAT IS IMPORTANT, you can purchase the planting material for a nominal fee!!! The guides and staff are responsive and competent! Visit with the children-they will enjoy admiring the parrots and fish🌼💐
If you want summer in the middle of winter, this is the perfect place. And it is also very informative, different climatic zones are presented:desert, steppe, tropics... Butterfly exhibitions are often held, it's just super, visitors are delighted.
A green corner in the center of Brest.
Everything is very compact, but at the same time there is a large exposition of various plants. There are several halls. + aquariums with fish and several valliers with parrots.
A place to visit for 1-2 times, well, maybe more if you are passionate about botany. I was with my child at a butterfly exhibition, there is no advertising for this event on the Internet, after seeing a poster on the street (near the old building), I only found out that you can see butterflies there.
An interesting place to visit without children. Why not, because children won't be very interested, except for parrots.
Very nice staff, special thanks to the ticket lady, very nice lady!
2 floors, several zones.
An atmospheric place
