One of the small but amazing places in beautiful Gomel. The location is located in a park, close to the attractions and next to the observation tower. There are a lot of exotic plants in the winter garden, some of them can feel quite good at home, the most amazing of the plants is a palm tree, or rather two of them, I was personally struck by their age of more than 136 years and the fact that the building of the winter garden was reconstructed a year ago because there was not enough space, they were raised specifically for palm trees the roof, I think, is worth repeating again, as they are comfortable and cozy in the winter garden. There are few animals and fish, and the peacock periodically greets the beauties with its cry. A very beautiful bench, let's call it a transformer, it consists of blocks that turn, you can assemble as many as three paintings from them. There are two small fountains on the territory. It's beautiful, quiet, and cozy. You can sit on a bench near the fountain and meditate. A small corner of the tropics. If we compare it with the Apothecary's garden in Moscow, it is quite small, but it is absolutely no worse in quality.

The winter garden was built on the site of an old sugar factory. The territory is small, although there are few plants, they are well cared for. We created a cozy atmosphere: a fountain, a pond with goldfish, a bench fit so well into the atmosphere of the garden. It's a pity only for turtles: they have little space and are empty in the aquarium.

It's a beautiful place. The caretakers are very polite and sincere. The birds in the tiny cages were a little confused, however, neither the pheasants nor the peacock looked tortured. Beautiful smooth plumage. Clean cells. Food is available. By the way, it was the pheasants that turned out to be the WOW for me personally. I am indifferent to plants. The building itself is of amazing beauty, a real magical grotto.

We had a single ticket, so we went in. And so, as a layman, the winter garden is not impressive. Several aquariums, rabbits, a peacock (they laughed for a long time - a rooster with a tail), and trees and bushes.
I was more impressed with the ceiling, how the crossbars and crossbars are made. You can go in, but you won't get a wow.

The Winter Garden is part of the Gomel Palace and Park Ensemble. The pavilion was built in the 19th century, an architectural monument, well restored. Pheasants and peacocks are kept in good conditions inside the pavilion, and there are small fountains with fish. The collection of plants is limited by the size of the pavilion, but it is very interesting. In the Winter Garden there are places for visitors to relax, you can sit quietly among the plants, it is convenient to take a photo for memory.
