We had a great picnic, just before it started pouring in the city)

Visiting the Japanese Garden in Tashkent is a delightful experience. This beautifully maintained garden offers a serene escape from the bustling city. The meticulous landscaping, complete with traditional Japanese elements like koi ponds and tea houses, provides a peaceful and authentic atmosphere. It's a perfect spot for relaxation, reflection, or a leisurely stroll. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a tranquil retreat or a touch of nature's beauty in the heart of Tashkent.
A very beautiful Japanese garden in Tashkent is a pleasant, cozy place for leisurely walks. Here you want to sit, observe nature, read a book and think a little about the eternal.
The entrance fee for adults is 30,000 soums (April 2025).
P.S. I would like to see the ribbons around the lawns removed — they greatly spoil the aesthetic appearance of the garden. I also hope that in the future they will replace the canopies with PEPSI logos at the cafe with something more appropriate - after all, you can make the design in the spirit of the Japanese tradition so that the whole space looks harmonious.
A very beautiful place, a combination of unique flora and fauna. I would even say - a unique place! but it didn't work out to enjoy the views of landscape solutions, all the lawns were covered with carpets, rags, blankets, food, in general, the expectations are one based on beautiful photos from the Internet, but the reality is different. It is strange that picnics are allowed in the Japanese garden, this is a meditative place, where you need to contemplate and enjoy nature. And you can eat outdoors in another place. At the entrance to the park, the guards are fighting to the death over sunflower seeds and other snacks, in general, they created a problem for themselves by allowing picnics. One cafe is enough.
This place attracts attention, makes you think and slow down your pace.
Pros: Amazing beauty and silence in the middle of a big city.
Cons: None.
I visit the Japanese garden all the time because I work nearby and am always delighted. This is a great place for walking or just relaxing on a bench in an atmosphere of contemplation. Here you can feed the birds: several storks, a flock of white pigeons, ducks, as well as an impressive peacock with an emerald neck and a magnificent tail roam freely.
Even in winter, the garden looks picturesque. A special charm is given by the Japanese well, which attracts the eye and sets it up for reflection. Everything you need is provided for a comfortable stay: plenty of benches, a comfortable toilet and a smoking area with a beautiful view of a small pond.
Entrance to the garden is paid. The territory is compact, but I don't want to leave – it's so beautiful, quiet and peaceful here. I really enjoy spending time here. And how magnificent it is here in spring, when seasonal plants bloom, and in autumn, when the trees turn into bright shades.
Beautiful garden, all in greenery, next to a pond, beautiful paths, all in Japanese style.
We wanted to attend the tea ceremony, but we couldn't find a schedule for it.
I will warn you that the entrance is paid, and for foreigners it is a completely different price tag (this information is nowhere to be found, we only found out upon entering the park).
There are many benches, gazebos, and even swing benches, all designed in the same style and quite cozy.
We walked around the entire park in about 0.5 hours.
There is a local amusement park across the lake, but you need to go around, there is no direct exit from one park to another - which is very inconvenient.
If you happen to be in Tashkent, I advise you to go to the Japanese garden, you will not regret it. Large well-maintained territory, with many picturesque locations for photos or just relaxing. Even sitting on a bench and watching the beautiful trees or the water in a stream brings peace to this place. I was surprised by the storks and peacocks that walk around the territory, beautiful and well-groomed. In hot weather, it's best to hide under the crowns of perennial trees.
It's beautiful, it's nice to take a walk. Beautiful pure white pigeons walk in pairs with the rest of the guests; huge beautiful drakes (male ducks) boldly come ashore, walk among the guests))))). /// (minor note: if only the fencing tapes were removed, or they would be made to match the color of the grass/ vegetation, but yes, it is clear that they are trying to protect themselves from vandals)
A great place for events. Just visiting to take a break from the noise of the city will not work, here the noise is created by visitors. Sometimes it gets littered, but it gets cleaned up quickly. It is located on the shore of an artificial lake where ducks swim. There's not much left of Japanese there anymore, but it's just a beautiful place where you can sit on the grass or walk along the paths among the trees. Entrance is paid
The best place to relax. It was my first time and I liked it so much. Silence, wonderful air. There are a lot of benches where you can sit, dream, read, breathe fresh air, admire the beauty of nature.. I just fell in love with this garden.
Wonderful place, clean, cozy. The garden is well maintained. There are large fish and various ducks in the pond, as well as several swans. Catamarans, boats for rent. A stream will open soon, through the entire park. It's good to hide from the heat.
We've been here three times this year, and we're always in Tashkent. The park is excellent. Its condition is constantly maintained... The entrance ticket is 30,000 soums. Boating and catamarans are possible on the pond. We took a rowing boat - 20 minutes - 100,000 soums. In 40 minutes, you can walk the entire pond by boat at a calm pace. He takes bread with him. The black swans are moving their necks beautifully, asking for bread. A place of strength, recharging with vital energy. You can catch a moment of unity with nature... The Japanese-style park is very beautifully decorated, there are stones, lanterns, a small stream, fish in a small pond, and frogs "croak" opposite. The toilet is free and well maintained. We recommend it, and we enjoy being there.
A beautiful, atmospheric vacation spot. Here you can relax with the whole family, and young couples can retire. Lots of secluded scenic spots. You can take a catamaran ride on the lake, watch the swans.
A great place for a family vacation. There is a lot of greenery and shade on the territory. You can rent a catamaran and feed the ducks in the middle of the lake. There is a small playground. We can have a picnic.
A pleasant place. Lots of greenery. Pond, swans, herons, ducks. Exotic trees. It can be placed under the trees on a mat.Pillows and blankets are available for rent. Sometimes interesting events and concerts take place on the territory. A pleasant audience. Cleanliness and order.
In general, great impressions.
The Japanese garden is very beautiful. It was nice to take a walk. Clean and beautiful!
The paths, plants, and trees are all beautiful and interesting! I recommend it, be sure to visit the Japanese Garden.
It's beautiful, there's a lot of greenery, but I expected the trees to be of different shapes, but there weren't any! I think the entrance is too expensive for the park! It's not very big, but the lake with swans makes up for everything! You can go on a catamaran, feed the ducklings and see the lotus.
