Great hotel! I really liked it, good breakfasts, a lovely room on the 1st floor with access to a plot with a chaise longue and a table, the territory is well maintained and green, free coffee, tea, chocolate at any time! An unforgettable vacation. One of the disadvantages is that it's inconsiderate on the beach to rinse your feet from the sand, there's one shower and a lot of people in line, but these are small things! Another disadvantage is the sooo shallow pool!I will definitely come back on occasion!

I am currently at the hotel, we arrived for 12 days with Biblio Globus and have never regretted it. It took a long time to choose, the criteria were the presence of a beach, good infrastructure nearby, but peace and quiet. The first visits to Tai have been since 2007, and during this time there have been noticeable changes and not for the better in the attitude towards tourists, but to our great joy, the most hospitable and smiling beloved Tai has still been preserved here!
The condition of the hotel is average, a little tired, but everything you need is there, except that there are no Russian-speaking staff in the lobby, but this is not a hindrance at all, as we all know. courtesy and Google translator decide. Beds, breakfasts, air conditioners, service are all 5 out of 5 in my opinion. There was a problem with the air conditioning on the floor, we were given another equivalent number on the phone, for which we thank them very much.
May is no longer the season, it rains daily, but this does not spoil the vacation, there is also enough sun and sea, and there are comfortable umbrellas for romantic evening walks in the village.
There is a good cafe on the beach a little to the right for lunch, if you have not come to all inclusive.
Probably in October or early November we will come again, so far everything is fine here. Have a good mood, everyone.

A gorgeous hotel. We had a rest in October for 24 years, a room with access to the pool, cleaning every day, very tasty and varied breakfasts, pleasant staff, the coastline is wonderful. The deck chairs are located just above the sea, which in principle fits into the safety framework, since the waves can be quite strong. There was an unpleasant incident, but the hotel and this nuance were able to settle and we had a great rest!

Our overall impression is a pleasant hotel for a comfortable stay.
Nice beach. I liked that they are not allowed to occupy the sun beds early in the morning. We came to the beach at different times - there were always sun beds.
Since the beaches are shared, the sun beds on site are shaded by trees. It was comfortable to rest there.
The sea was undulating almost all the rest time, only on the last day it was possible to swim comfortably.
Location. A 5-minute walk and you are on Kaolak street of the center, where there are many cafes, shops, massage parlors, at the very beginning of this chain.
There are exchangers - the most profitable exchange rate was in the first exchanger along the way.
I liked that there are few people, there is no fuss. A lot of foreigners.
The hotel staff is very friendly. It will always help if you have any questions.
Cleaning every day. The beach towels were changed every day.
They just forgot to replenish tea, napkins and other small things. If you ask, they will give you. But this does not affect the quality of your vacation in any way.
Internet access is available throughout the hotel and on the beach, even at a great distance. It works stably. There is even a wired internet connection in the room. There were not enough shelves in the closet (there were only hangers) and hooks to hang things.
The food is a very good breakfast. Everything is delicious and of high quality. The first few days we had dinner at the hotel - everything was great too.
At a price not much more expensive than in a cafe in Kaolak.
The territory is green and clean. It is constantly being cleaned. There are 3 pools. We swam in one. There is a special one for adults. We thought it was deep there, but it's only 0.9 meters :)
But there is a bar and a net for playing ball :)
There's a slide where we swam. Children have plenty of space.
There is a gym and it is quite decent. Several exercise machines, a set of dumbbells, treadmills and stepers. You can fully practice. There are group workouts in different directions from stretching to Thai boxing (I couldn't get in).
We didn't go to the SPA, but there are several massage parlors on the beach - we went for a massage every day. If you do a foot massage, then sitting in an armchair and you enjoy the view of the sea.
The price of a massage has not changed in a year - 300 baht Thai massage.
There is a coffee machine and fresh water, regular and detox in the lobby. There is a device with drinking water. Water was replenished in the room every day, but if there was not enough, you could always dial downstairs.
Apples were given out in the gym after training - a nice bonus :)
In general, if you need a comfortable and relaxing holiday, I definitely recommend it.

Hotel x10. Unfortunately, the hotel does not pull at all for 5 *, even Thai. The biggest disadvantage is the design of the rooms: the sink by the bed, the glass door to the toilet, which is completely transparent. We had a family vacation (2 adults and 2 children) and it was extremely uncomfortable.
Initially, they settled in a room where there had been no cleaning for a very long time: stains on the glass door, cabinets with greasy handles. The shower water wouldn't leave. All the comments were immediately voiced to the manager, but alas, they did not do the cleaning (although they went to do the general cleaning and I pointed out the shortcomings), they did the water in the shower, but the next day the drain was the same situation. We lived in a building near the kids' club in a one-story villa. The roof of these rooms is made so that if it rains, you can't sit on the terrace, everything pours onto the deck chairs, which also marred the evenings.
Sun loungers on the beach do not have umbrellas, they seem to be in the shade of trees, but the sun is constantly breaking through, first from one side, then from the other.
Towels were often badly worn (both beach towels and regular towels).
There is very little animation for children, and no animation at all for adults, but is this probably how it should be? Not Egypt)
This is about the cons.
Pros: the hotel is very quiet and peaceful. In the evening, peace and quiet.
The hotel is non-smoking, you can smoke only in special areas, it's nice.
From 15 to 17 free popcorn and lemonades for children, a nice bonus.
You can always drink coffee from the vending machine at the reception (free of charge)
The breakfasts are very decent, there is everything. Fresh juices, lots of fruits, red fish almost every day.Again, you can take a coffee to go, which is very convenient.
Monitor lizards live in the building of the children's club, which periodically swim in the pool, exotic.
We saw a black scorpion once, interestingly, but it didn't inspire security.
It's close to the center, there are a lot of cafes, but there are almost no fruit shops, sometimes it turned out to buy mangoes from a car for 50 BAHT / 2 kg. The most interesting thing is to buy fruits in the Lotus if you took a bike.

A wonderful place! We rested with our family, quietly, calmly. Excellent pools, there is a small slide for children. Several bars, good food, especially the breakfasts were very pleasant. A fairly diverse selection of fruits. Seafood is plentiful. The rooms are large, comfortable, cleaned every day and change the linen, put some water. The ocean is unforgettable, of course there were waves, but there is such an area here. I liked everything very much, we will come again.

The main disadvantage of this hotel is that you either have to take a taxi to the nearest cafe (civilization), which is parked at the exit of the hotel, or walk for 15-20 minutes. Therefore, those who find it difficult to walk in search of food in the heat should take meals at the hotel.

The food is different for dinner, but most of the dishes are spicy, for an amateur. Alcohol is normal. The territory is not large. The rooms are not dead. The room has everything, you do not need to take soap and soap - shampoo, shower gel, hair conditioner, disposable razor, tooth paste and brushes and an iron. In short, everything is there! There are even beach flip-flops. We were there in April. The sea was stormy! Tip, if there are waves, then if you go to the beach and walk for 7 minutes to the river, there will be a lagoon there are natural stones and they extinguish the waves and you can swim safely. It is better to go there by 8 in the morning. The hotel also has slides, billiards - 20bat, table tennis. There is no animation! The only negative is the ban on smoking. Smoking is not allowed in the room, even on the balcony, a fine. There are only three smoking rooms, one at the reception, the second at the main restaurant, where billiards, the third on the beach. Another minus, for all, the bar opens at 12.00. So it's better to take everything for yourself from the evening. Just ask the bar not to open beer, drinks, etc. You will be happy in the morning!

Hotel x10, vacationing with a child Oct 2024, everything they write about this hotel I agree: a large territory, excellent breakfasts and dinners in buffet format, comfortable mattresses, a good beach, convenient location: walk min.10 to the Kaolak infastructure, BUT, there is THEFT in this hotel, 200 were stolen from my safe dollars... Despite the fact that there was a large amount, as well as passports, they took so much, apparently there was a calculation that I would not notice or would not contact the police. I will immediately warn the comments that I may have forgotten how I spent it, no, I did not forget, I count the money, and I discovered the loss when I could not open the safe and had to call a specialist. I bought a ticket from Biblio Globus, to whom I immediately reported the incident, to which I received a response a few days later: "the hotel administration viewed the cameras, the money was not found by the staff." When leaving the hotel, well, the administration did not show its "sorry" in any way. The rest was greatly overshadowed by this case and the reaction of the hotel administration and the inaction of the tour operator. I did not go to the police, because I came alone with a child and only for 10 days.

The hotel is very good. I vacationed in X10 2 times: the first time in the family sector, the second - in the beach. Each has its advantages: in the family - quiet, 2 beautiful pools, a children's room. In the beach sector there are 5 pools of different depths, a slide, fountains, but a lot of people, not to silence. The hotel is located on the seashore: zhezlongi, a cafe on the beach, there is a cafe in the large pool. The beach is sandy and clean. A little to the left there are excellent locations for photos: palm trees, huge boulders and the most gorgeous sea.
We took a break the first time with breakfast and dinner, the second time just with breakfast. The breakfasts are great, we like everything. The dinners are also good- buffet, everything is delicious.
We love this hotel very much, so we are going to have another vacation at X10.

A great hotel for a family holiday. Excellent service, atmosphere, nature, cuisine - according to the menu of the hotel restaurants. Upon arrival, they are treated to soft drinks. The room is clean, there is everything: slippers and slates for the beach (reusable!), bathrobes, hair dryer, dental kit, shaving kit, thread -needles-buttons), shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, body milk, iron, hair dryer, refrigerator, umbrellas. The bed is large with a comfortable mattress, the sofa is for children - 2 children can sleep freely or an adult (120×200 size). Very comfortable pillows - there is a pillow menu. Bed linen, towels (hands/face/ bath for each guest) are high-quality, snow-white - they are changed daily. Beach towels are huge - free.
The beach is "private" with shizlong. There are no locals or outsiders. The coast is beautiful. Waves can be strong. Ebb and flow - current. Animation in the evening - fire show, national ensemble, karaoke, games for children, etc. A lot of pools of different depths. Children's room. Water aerobics. Very friendly staff.
We took breakfast. We had lunch and dinner according to the menu - the prices are like in Russia - but the taste and service are European. We also went to the city - moriki ate in a restaurant with a statue of a pirate - a beautiful restaurant, delicious dishes. We went on a KaoSok tour - I really liked it. I recommend. In general, we are happy with the rest - the hotel is wonderful, if you go there, then only there.

We had a rest from October 12 to 28 (2 adults + a child of 11 years old).
1. Accommodation and room. The hotel has several 3-storey buildings. The one where the reception is located is called the Family Wing, and it has bathrooms with a frosted glass wall and a sink in the room. In the Beach Wing, the layout is standard, more familiar. There are rooms on the ground floor with access to the pool. We lived on the third floor overlooking the pool with a slide.
The room is lovely, spacious, with excellent lighting. Bathrobes, slippers, umbrellas, beach bag; in the bathroom shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, liquid soap, body lotion - all of decent quality in large containers. Refrigerator with freezer. Tea station (tea and coffee bags), glasses, corkscrew, even an ice bucket. Safe, ironing board and iron. In general, everything you need for comfort.
2. Territory: not very large, stretched out to the sea. But it is very cozy and green. Five pools with a maximum depth of 125 cm. One water slide. The fitness room is well equipped (towels, water and even fresh apples are available there). Children's club. Two ping pong tables. By the way, there is a water cooler next to these tables. Mini-library.
3. The beach. Excellent. During our stay, however, the red flag hung all the time because of the waves (But if you go to the left to the rocks, then the waves are quieter there. The tides are moderate. I would like to see garbage collected on the beach after big waves...it seems to be cleaned, but not at all quickly..
4. Restaurants and bars. The main restaurant where breakfast is served is with indoor and outdoor areas. The closed one has air conditioning, but it is small. If the restaurant is crowded, the hostess employee will find an empty seat for you and escort you. You don't have to wander around looking for yourself. The breakfasts are excellent. However, there are no cereals at all for small children...But there are a lot of fruits: pineapples, papaya, tangerines, bananas, dragonfruit, watermelon, melon, sometimes guava, passion fruit. We went to the main restaurant for dinner once, but we didn't like it. Before leaving, we went to a Seafood restaurant, which is very tasty, although not cheap.
From 15 to 17.00 free popcorn and carbonated drinks.
Coffee, tea during the day - where the building is with the reception.
For children up to and including 11 years old, you can apply for an ice cream and drinks card (at the reception).
5. Infrastructure. Shops, pharmacies, exchangers, travel agencies, cafes and restaurants are all within walking distance. The prices are about the same. We went to different cafes every day, experimentally found the most delicious tom yam and the best mango shake.
There are taxis near the hotel, you can ask them to take you to the waterfall, the turtle farm, to the elephants... It will be cheaper than in tour stores.
There are laundries in the village where 1 kg of clothes will be washed, dried and ironed for 60 baht. Very convenient).
In general, the X10 Khaolak is excellent for its service, location, and atmosphere...We will definitely come back again.

A wonderful hotel. We were in July, the low season. The waves are big. Along the shore - 5 minutes to the left there is a natural pool (lagoon behind the stones). It was possible to swim.

Stunningly. A quiet, family-run hotel, a beautiful, green large area, the first beach line with good access to the water. We had a regular standard room in the building where the reception is. Very quiet. The hotel has a kids club, a children's pool and water activities for children. Excellent and varied food. We had an all inclusive system (buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner on the menu, you can choose what you want, not necessarily Thai cuisine). As such, there is no animation in the hotel, if you want to hang out, then you do not need to go here. There is a gym, a small library. There are no problems with Wi-Fi. A buggy (200 baht) to the local market can be ordered from the hotel. Nearby is Khao Lak Park (20 minutes drive). I would like to mention separately the children's menu, children's dishes in the restaurant!

I want to write right away that most of the reviews about this hotel are filtered, and frankly negative reviews are deleted. Thailand is super, Khao Lak is beyond praise, incomparable with Phuket!!! The hotel is decent, but only due to its location, location on the beach, proximity to Khao Lak. Well, maybe at the expense of the girls who clean the rooms. Indeed, the room cleaning is at a high level. We have been vacationing in Khao Lak for a long time, we have been in many hotels, including very high-class ones. Believe me, the X10 overestimates the opinion of itself :)
And now about the cons:
1. Very noisy in the rooms! There is no sound insulation. Generally. All the farts are audible! And even more so extraneous sounds, conversations, screams, screams
2. Couples without families are accommodated in a family building! The consequences are unpredictable: noise all night long, loud conversations and music, drunk lesbians.
3. The reception staff DOES NOT WANT to solve any problems, including noisy rooms at night. If they have any questions, they pretend that they don't understand anything at all, although we speak English perfectly. It's just disgusting!
4. The advertised free coffee machine near the reception is constantly broken. The "free" water runs out very quickly and is not replenished.
5. The evening entertainment was once in 10 days. And then through the ass. :)
6. A strange pool for adults with a depth of 80 cm! Perhaps this is for the Chinese, who cannot swim, or for the Germans "ol inclusive", who are drunk and afraid to drown right where they are drinking (from 09-00 to 20-00).

A very nice hotel for a quiet stay away from noise and people. The hotel's guests are mostly Europeans (British, Australians, Germans), as well as Russians. The food in the main restaurant is not ice from the word at all, but if you take all inclusive. Breakfast is monotonous, there is zero seafood, there were 2 fish in 20 days, but its quality left much to be desired, but you still won't stay hungry. The Seaside kitchen restaurant is delicious, steaks and salmon are just a bomb! The cleaning is not bad, the staff is friendly, they try to meet you halfway if possible. For Thailand, the level is high enough in this segment. There are really a lot of pools, but there is one fat ONE that negates all the advantages. If you are going to this family-run (as they position themselves) hotel with children, be prepared to relax and have a pool with bleach in the yard, you will have to go back and forth to the beach all the time. And that's why. The most important and only pool with a view of the beach and the sea is FOR ADULTS ONLY, so your child is not allowed there! And you, too, if of course you will swim, and the child will sit with tears, then you are welcome. By the way, in the post-crisis period, the staff allowed everyone to use this pool without exception. We even swam there with a 2-year-old. There were no restrictions. But having arrived six months later, we were faced with "new" rules, as they were called. Naturally, there were no warnings about this before payment, but upon arrival they were already pleased. As it turned out, this has always been the case, just to raise profits, it was decided not to drive families with children, that's all. And evil pensioners from the UK will drive you out of there if they see a child. They have some kind of hatred for children, or we are so lucky. In general, the whole vacation was ruined at the end by these feisty grandmothers, constantly complaining to the manager, the manager is torn between visitors, in short, tin. Dear Mr. X10, if you have a family hotel, why did you make a division into with and without children?! And if you strictly follow the rules at one time of the year, follow them always and with everyone. You yourself have created an unfavorable environment for vacationers, allowing some kind of inadequacies to insult and annoy people. And the noise from these old men was much more than from all the children together, and they were the only ones who used the pool, because everyone else was thrown out into the backyard with the children. People don't fly for 9-12 hours to sit in a frog house and stare at buildings. Either make 2 separate pools overlooking the beach, or remove this rule altogether. Well, or rename the hotel from family to adults only or pension. But it's not normal to chase children like that and spoil everyone's vacation. By the way, there is no information about the main pool and the ban for children on hotel booking services. And on the main website of the hotel, you have to try to find it directly. We flew to this hotel in mid-October, we were very worried about the weather, but I can immediately say that there were rainy days and it was more comfortable to be in them than under the sun, the rain is different here, it is warm. It was raining either in the morning or in the evening. The hotel itself has a beautiful and large territory, the staff is polite and friendly, who will always help with any of your questions. On the territory of the hotel there is a place to walk, a lot of pools, 2 restaurants and 3 bars.
The beach from the hotel is very cool, the sand is clean, but because of the weather there was always a red flag, but this did not stop many people, including us, the waves were periodic and short-term, and everything was comfortable. We also swam on the same beach from another hotel (there the entrance to the sea is longer and it was very cool at low tide)
As for the food at the hotel, we think that the breakfast food is a bit monotonous, but it's delicious, we just tried to take different food on the buffet for a week, but she got bored, and at the end of the rest we ate only fruit 😅 (we only had breakfast included), we also had dinner several times for a fee and we had lunch in a restaurant, we liked everything, there is a lot to choose from. 800 meters from the hotel is the main road, where there are eateries, pharmacies, shops, etc. You can get there by taxi from the hotel, or you can walk, we always got there on foot, Ate there the rest of the time, and yes, everything is spicy, prices are different everywhere, we found an excellent cafe with adequate prices only at the end of the vacation. We walked along the places along this road, entered the territories of other hotels and settlements, no one told us anything, of course they did not use their infrastructure, just walked)

If you are with children, then keep in mind that the beautiful pool in this hotel with a view of the beach and the sea, ADULTS ONLY. The one that is on all the advertising pictures. Just keep in mind that you will not be allowed into it if you have children under 16 with you!!!! years. You will really want to, but you can't. You came to the hotel to swim, but you can't go where you want))) In response to my doubt, why not make the whole hotel in this concept for adults only (super practice) and not wait for families with children as guests at all, not to disappoint anyone, I was told that I could choose another hotel for accommodation 😁
Of course, for me it's one star. You can't do that. But those who go there without children will not get a purely "adult" environment either. Children, that is, everywhere, except for the pool itself) are simply not allowed out of the pool.

Everything is just amazing!!!! Just everything? the beach is without stones, sun beds in the shade, the food is varied and delicious, the rooms are spacious, pillows to choose from are of super quality, as well as a comfortable mattress, replacement of beach towels every day in the room, green territory, birds sing. I want to go back!!!
