I have been living with convergent strabismus for more than 5 years and have already come to terms with the fact that this problem will stay with me forever. But during another vision check, I decided to ask if it was possible to fix the situation with glasses. I've been here twice for a doctor's appointment - I picked up glasses, then lenses. The doctor is an excellent specialist, my eyesight has never been checked so thoroughly before. I had a problem only with the manufactured glasses, six months later a fine mesh of cracks began to appear on the lenses, which now interferes with the comfortable wearing of glasses. I thought the lenses were of poor quality. It turned out that the lenses have an antireflective coating and it cracks due to different coefficients of thermal expansion of plastic and metal-containing antireflective coating. This often happens when glasses are left in the car in the summer, because in the car interior, as in a greenhouse, the temperature can exceed the street temperature by tens of degrees. That's how it turned out for me, glasses often "live" in the car. There are many such stories on the Internet and almost always the reason is leaving glasses on the dashboard or somewhere else in the car. Moreover, the price of the lenses does not matter. So you need to take this point into account if you drive with glasses.
