A 6-storey hostel 5 minutes from Taksim Square, near Istiklal Street. It is easy to get from here to all the attractions in half an hour. A bus takes 40 minutes to get from the airport to Taksim, which is very convenient.
There is a panoramic guest room on the 6th floor where you can relax and have breakfast with a great view. This was the deciding factor when choosing a hostel.
Breakfast is included, which is unusual for a hostel. But some are monotonous. Type of Turkish breakfast: bread, roll, sliced simits, sausage, cheese, cucumbers, butter, cake slices, muesli with milk, 2 types of jam, tea, coffee, water
There are different types of rooms: 2-bed, 4-bed, 6-bed.
❤Bathrooms and toilets are blocky, for 2-3 rooms, in some rooms inside
On the ground floor there is a small kitchenette, kettle, microwave, water
There are scales - which is very important, to weigh the luggage after shopping
There is Wi-Fi, but the iPhone stubbornly did not want to connect, saying that the network was insecure, so I used only android.
The air conditioner/heater upstairs was not working properly. It was very cold at night, I slept in a sweatshirt, but on the 3rd day, someone complained and a heater was brought into the room.
I think it's hot here in the summer, because I don't think the air conditioner will cool down well.
Overall, it's a good hostel, you can stay for a couple of days. I paid 11 thousand rubles for 6 nights. Booked through Tinkoff
Overall a great hotel. The food is the same every day. But I didn't get tired of it in three days. There is no lactose-free milk. Towels are provided free of charge - this is included in the price. If someone tells you that it's for rent for a certain amount, then it's not true. Ask for a towel and the rest to the administrator who registered you. As it is, I really liked it, everyone is polite, courteous, there is a private safe. Your bed is covered with a curtain. But if you are a light sleeper, then you should sleep with earplugs. On the 6th floor, where they eat, you have to go up the stairs, when I was there the elevator was not working. But I don't think it's going to work anymore. Closer to the weekend, discos and karaoke are held on the roof, where there is a buffet in the mornings, in the evenings. There are shops and cafes nearby. Everything is cool and not as bad as I wanted it to be.
I was very unlucky with my neighbors - they smoked, drank, and made noise. The administration turns a blind eye to this.
Overall, an interesting, clean, pleasant hostel.
Among the disadvantages are very poor sound insulation, small rooms (as if everything is on top of each other), a "buffet" - very conditionally, they give portions under the signature.
Among the advantages - clean, nice, very good location at Taksim.
But I'll prefer a hotel room for the future.
It's not a bad hostel by Istanbul standards, you need to ask for a towel, but I had my own, the sky bar is open until 12 at night, there aren't a lot of people there in the evening, introverts. The breakfasts are monotonous, but they are in the form of a buffet, the staff is good and responsive, the locker was buggy 2 times in 4 days, the person behind the counter helped me open it. The guests are People from all over the world, many from CIS countries. I lived here for 4 days, then moved into a room rented at airbnb, since I can't stay in such crowded places for a long time. I recommend taking earplugs and sleep masks to such places
For the hostel, everything is fine, the shower is always free, it was clean, it is better to carefully inspect the pastel, I can also offer the old one, but they easily move to another one. The staff is ready to help with everything, there are private rooms, breakfast with a wonderful view of most of the city. The food is normal without much choice, but generally fine. In the evening, there are parties in the bar, a lot of foreigners, I recommend it.
Noisy, high traffic. The hostel is located in the epicenter of nightlife. Restless and not very comfortable. You need to specifically contact the reception for a towel. There is no ventilation, the windows do not open, there is air conditioning in the rooms, but it is still stuffy.
Travel advice - put only valuables in a locker with a combination lock, and leave cosmetics bags and things that you need at hand in your bag or on the bed, because when you open the combination lock beeps, and you wake up your neighbors.
Near the metro and bus stop to/from the airport. This is, of course, convenient. But it's a long way to the old town. And you can't take the subway without a local transport card.
Breakfasts are monotonous. The people and staff are friendly and friendly. Always ready to help. There are storage boxes with a lock and hangers. The curtains on the beds are tight. There are many showers and restrooms on the floor. The only negative is monotonous breakfasts. I recommend this hostel to everyone. I will definitely come back
A very pleasant place if you are young, hot and have no children. There are separate rooms, though a little cramped. Excellent Turkish breakfasts and a magnificent attic.
I stayed at the hostel 2 times, I like everything and the location, not far from the square.Taksim is on a quiet street. The hostel is always clean, the breakfasts on the roof are super. The atmosphere is always pleasant and calm. Thanks guys.
