The beach is very beautiful and clean.
The water is azure, crystal clear and pure.
There are small cafes on site where you can have a delicious lunch, beer costs 60 baht (as in regular stores)
The military beach is located near the city, literally a 45-50 minute drive away.
We lived near Wongamat, and after visiting this lagoon, we never came to Wongamat again. 😃
In the second half of February, there were a lot of people on the beach.

A wonderful beach! The military takes good care of the territory, so it's not a pity to relax here even for money. And they bought up and sunbathed. A clean beach, it is better to come on weekdays, although it is a bay, but sometimes there are strong waves.
You can pay directly in front of the road leading to the beach (where tickets are checked), and not in the parking lot.
If you take a taxi, immediately arrange to be picked up back at the appointed time, otherwise you can wait a long time, and the local songteo (tuktuk) overestimate the price greatly.

Please note that the beach is chargeable and after entering the military camp you need to buy tickets, 100 baht per person. I'm taking off one star for the lack of normal transport accessibility. If you can take a taxi from Pattaya for 300 baht, then it is almost impossible to call a taxi back, or to agree to the conditions of those who are "on duty" there, which is 500-600 baht, and then if there are free ones, because taxi drivers go there very reluctantly because of the distance.

A great beach, I liked it more than anyone else! The sea is perfect! The monkeys didn't bother. Toilet and shower are free of charge, which is rare for local beaches) The only thing is, we went on our own, we had to leave before 18.00 and it was difficult to call a taxi, we waited for 30 minutes! Three travel options:
1. With a tour operator (it seems cheaper and more convenient to me)
2. Independently by car or bike (documents are needed at the entrance when paying) 3. By taxi, then you only need to pay 100 baht for entry, documents are not needed.

There are several cafes on the shore, they cook very tasty, you can't stay hungry, that's for sure. For a small amount, you can take a chaise longue and if you return it back, and do not leave it on the beach, part of the money is returned. The monkeys there are, of course, brazen thieves. Therefore, it is better not to leave things unattended.
