We rested for the first time in Abkhazia, at the Volga Hotel, from October 16 to October 25, 2024. Ototel's impressions are only delightful. The hotel has a new, stylish renovation, comfortable modern furniture in the rooms, air conditioning maintains a comfortable temperature. The softest towels, white bathrobes, very high-quality bed linen. The bathroom is at a height. The rooms are spacious, the ceilings are 3m.A well-maintained large area near the hotel with cozy benches, a warm swimming pool. It is a 5-minute walk to the sea. Delicious food in the huge dining room, buffet. But the most important thing at the Volga Hotel is the staff. In the hotel you really understand what Caucasian hospitality is. Smiling, friendly beauties administrators Alice, Sofa, Gulnara, night administrator David., will tell you everything about the city, the country, will give advice. Anastasia, the tour travel manager, will guide you on excursions, an extraspecialist, even set up a TV in the room. You will receive help on any issue at the reception desk. At night, Adgur protected us, so we slept peacefully. Perfect cleanliness thanks to the efforts of the hostess for cleanliness Angelina. Many thanks to the chefs Ilona and Larisa. I really liked the hotel. Everything is new and clean.

Great hotel! Polite staff (thank you very much for finding a room for the newlyweds). They greet everyone with champagne at the reception (local, cool!). Fresh renovation (not without flaws, of course). The rooms are clean (with huge balconies). A lot of white towels and a bathrobe (not everyone will fit))). A finger-licking buffet (breakfast and dinner). Outdoor swimming pool (heated!!!). 5 minutes walk to the sea (closed clean beach). The prices are more than adequate (at least in the middle of October))). While I was writing, I wanted to go there again!))

Hello! We are vacationing for the first time in Abkhazia (the first joint vacation). The tour operator recommended the city of Gudauta Volga hotel to us and we do not regret that we agreed! A wonderful hotel! Friendly and courteous staff! The room is clean and bright! The staff is just great! Maid girls (these are wonderful polite fairies of cleanliness). The hotel administrators are friendly and friendly (they will help, tell and recommend). Anastasia (tour organizer) is a wonderful girl (she will help you choose excursions, she will also always ask how everything went)
As they say, instead of 1000 words, we recommend visiting! Although perhaps not everyone will like it or like it (we are for a quiet quiet holiday) Gudauta is a quiet, peaceful city, there are no special attractions and excursions within the city. We stayed at this hotel in October, everything was very pleasant, a complete delight. The rooms are excellent, we had suite 322, excellent loggia 16sq., linen, bed, everything is clean and new. The staff is wonderful, the receptionists are excellent, I especially want to mention Gulnara's administrator, sensitive, attentive. In the dining room, the food is homemade, well-prepared. The pool is good, despite the fact that it was October, the water temperature was normal. I want to thank all the staff of the Volga Hotel for their hospitality and responsiveness to guests. We all really enjoyed our vacation in October from 16 to 23, despite the weather, it was a great success.
Bed linen, towels, bathrobes are boiling white. Everything is clean and tasteful in the rooms and in the hotel itself. I really liked the embroidery of the letter "B" on towels, bathrobe and chairs! And a Baroque building with stucco on pillars and a balcony. It's a very delicate job. It gives beauty ! The stairs are marble with gloss. It looks rich . Smart bedside tables with a gate and wireless.charging. everything is tasteful!
Cleaning every day, linen change according to schedule, towels were changed on request because the humidity is high and did not dry. The water in the bottle was always replenished in the rooms. The food is good, there is a buffet to choose from, the pastries are delicious, cooked with a soul at home.
Anastasia, the tour administrator, is friendly, responsive, will tell you everything, saw you off and met you from the tour. She was interested in our impressions. We really liked the pool. We were told there would be lunches included next year. I would really like to, because the first course is very necessary for the stomach.
Overall, we had a very good rest.

- In the hotel: there are ironing boards with irons on each floor. The pool is clean. Beautiful and well-maintained territory.
- In the room: kettle, tea, sugar, mugs, two 0.5l bottles of water, shower gels, shampoo, towels, bathrobes. They replenish it every day. *towels can be taken to the pool, but bring your own to the beach.
- Cleaning: daily, high quality!
- WiFi: Powerful and stable! Catches even across the street in a cafe))
- Food: the choice is not great, but everything is very, very tasty! Traditional Russian dishes.
- Accommodation: very friendly and helpful staff. Everyone will tell you, they will always help.
- Excursions: we took them from the hotel guide mostly. The organization is good. They are punctual. We compared prices with other operators in the city, the same everywhere.
What can be improved:
I didn't like the musical accompaniment in the dining room. Loud and very primitive music, cutting the ear. To match the hotel would be to include a lounge in the background, not Viagra. But maybe someone liked it))
- Beach: 5 minutes to the sea, the beach is clean, there is a toilet, shower, rental of boots, sun loungers, etc. Chaise longue: 300 rub for the whole day. Many people just sunbathe on towels. The entrance to the sea is flat, pebbly, better in corals.
And the main advantage is that there are still very few tourists in this town) so keep up!

I was vacationing in Abkhazia for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. The hotel is great, after restoration, everything is new and clean, I was vacationing with my mother and it was important for me to have a quiet rest, and this is a great place!) it is 5 minutes to the sea, the sea is clean, there are not many people, there is a cafe on the sea, quite affordable prices and delicious to taste. Everything in the hotel is equipped for a comfortable stay, we were met and escorted directly to the room, everything was explained and shown, the room was cleaned every day and towels were changed, all the staff is very friendly. The food in the hotel is also decent, everything is homemade, we did not stay hungry. The pool is great and there were always free sun loungers too. In order not to sit in the hotel, my mother and I often went on excursions, a wonderful girl Anastasia works at the hotel, she sells tours to different parts of Abkhazia, took rafting from her (rafting on a stormy river), and the next day an excursion to Lake Rizza, Alpine meadows, blue lake, waterfalls and that's all in one day, driving jeeps, it was very comfortable and great! I recommend this hotel to everyone! I will definitely return there!

We rested in the Volga from 24.10 to 29.10.2024 and were very satisfied. There are minor nuances in particular that there is no lunch and there was a cold pool, although it is stated that the pool is heated. The staff is excellent, the cook and pastry chef are top notch. The rooms were cleaned every day. Clean linen, towels are all snow-white. Tea, sugar, kettle and water are provided in the room. Special thanks to Anastasia, you are just a smart girl. Nastya helped with the excursions. All the ones we went to are good and the prices are acceptable. Quiet, calm is exactly what we needed to take a break from everyone. There are no shops nearby, but there is a market nearby. It's going to be boring for the kids, but it was just the two of us. We wish you prosperity. All the employees are doing well.

I rested here from 01.10-09.10.24, I was in Abkhazia for the first time, I chose the hotel very carefully, after rereading a bunch of reviews about different hotels. Volga is not a typical hotel for Abkhazia in terms of service and cleanliness (I draw conclusions from reviews of other hotels), it is as close as possible to Turkish hotels: daily cleaning, replenishment of tea, water, gel, shampoo, towels are changed after 3 days, bed linen after 5. The food is always fresh, high-quality, delicious. Amazing pastries and cakes.
The beach is nearby 5-10 minutes slowly, the sea is clear if it is not stormy.
Of the minuses (more like quibbles): in rooms without a balcony there is no clothes dryer (there is a common one in the hall on the floor), when cooking in the room smells of food, lived on the 4th floor, room 404, there is a weak water pressure, the lights will be turned off briefly from 21.00, but quickly turn on, the declared heated pool (completely somehow not heated😁), there is a little fillet here (or I got into such a moment🤷) but clean, the windows overlooking the pool are cleaned every morning.
Otherwise, I was satisfied with the hotel, I would return here again and definitely recommend the Volga hotel.

A wonderful hotel! After the restoration, everything is new and modern. It was a pleasure to relax! There is an outdoor heated swimming pool. We rested at the Volga hotel from 2.10 to 9.10 with our family. I was in Abkhazia for the first time. I was completely delighted with the warmth of this place.
Anastasia, the hotel guide is just a heartbreak! A friendly, sweet, amazing girl.
She will not remain indifferent and indifferent.
We took an excursion to 3 waterfalls and a ghost town. Everything is at the highest level. Starting from a comfortable car, which is very important for such a difficult road, ending with just maximum humanity and professionalism of the guide.
In general, Volga is a very cozy and friendly place. I promise I will come back more than once.

We rested for 10 days in June.
I liked the hotel, but there is something to work on.
1 The location is very convenient, quiet place, 6 minutes to the sea, the road in flowers is pleasant to walk, you can go through the park.
2 Well-maintained beach, toilet, shower, cabins, sheds, canopies.There is a cafe: water, ice cream.
3 Hotel: everything is new, the rooms are decent no worse than 3*-4* hotels In Turkey, the photo coincides with reality, the linen was changed, the bathrobes were very helpful.Everything is dry and snow-white, cleaning was carried out daily, if necessary.
4 Nutrition: I think it is important for Abkhazia! It cannot be said that it is diverse, but everything is fresh and delicious. I'm picky, but I ate everything I took completely. Of course, you should not cut the buns into halves and fruits, not according to the status of the hotel) The cook is a pleasant woman.
5 The pool is excellent, stylish, warm. It may be worth introducing a visiting time for children under 21 hours, because they frolic loudly.
6 Staff: Young girls in the dining room need to be more friendly, the staff at the reception do not sit with their feet on the sofas, do not huddle in the dining room and at the reception. Do not forget that you are at work, and you have not come to hang out. No offense, but from the outside it looks disrespectful like that....
7 I would like to contact the hotel management, please be the first in Abkhazia who uses the ANIMAL-FRIENDLY trend. You have two Koleki cats living on your territory, a wonderful dog. Many urban residents do not have the opportunity to communicate with animals, we educate children with compassion and love for animals. Please make a house for cats, a place for feeding, tourists will buy food themselves or leave tips for pet food. But how nice it will be to see a healthy, happy cat and smiling children.
We were satisfied with the rest, the hotel has excellent prospects.

We stayed at the Volga hotels for 2 weeks in June. The hotel is located in a quiet area, to the sea, even at a very slow pace, 10 minutes to the beach. The pebble beach is medium-sized, fenced, but open to all. Deck chairs are paid. The sea is clear. We were greeted at the hotel by friendly, smiling and friendly staff. There were no problems with the check-in, even though we arrived earlier. The hotel after reconstruction is all new, modern, soft and comfortable))). The rooms have a kettle, refrigerator, TV, hairdryer, WF, air conditioning, mosquito net on the window (we had a room without a balcony). The rooms are cleaned every day. The rest fell on birthdays, which did not go unnoticed by the hotel staff, who, as a friendly team, congratulated the girl with a birthday cake with a candle, and the adult birthday boy got a bottle of champagne with cakes. The hotel has a heated swimming pool and is always clean. The dining room is large with a veranda. They fed modestly, but tasty, they did not go hungry))).
I would also like to express my gratitude to Anastasia's hotel guide. Kind, sweet, cheerful, responsive, ready to help with any issue, even if it is a personal matter, for example, how to organize a romantic place for a marriage proposal by the sea!!! Always in touch, will settle any issue and find a compromise. We were on 4 excursions (two in jeeps and two on buses) from the travel agency "Alliance-tour", which were absolutely safe, without any problems and hitches. All drivers and guides are experienced and knowledgeable. They will answer any question of interest. They will tell you where to visit and what to see and where to have a delicious lunch in the city))). I would also like to thank the driver Adam and the guides Slavik and Astik, thank them for interesting and informative excursions.

We are currently vacationing at this hotel. The staff is friendly, champagne is offered upon check-in. Excellent rooms, everything is new: TV, refrigerator, kettle, plumbing, air conditioning, fine linen, there are snow-white bathrobes. Cleaning every day, bed linen change every 3 days. A very beautiful building in the neoclassical style, a beautiful stylish swimming pool with warm water and compartments for kids. Good sound insulation of the rooms. The choice of dishes, after Turkey, is not so wide, but everything is very tasty. The food is like at home! Natural products that are familiar to our diet. Breakfast is always porridge, scrambled eggs or omelet, cottage cheese with sour cream, casserole, sausages, two types of cheese, ham, vegetables. For dinner: 2 types of salads, vegetables, three types of side dish, meat separately or as part of a side dish. Very, very tasty cakes and pastries.
From the wishes:
1. I would like more fruits and a coffee machine on the menu (so far, the hotel has only instant coffee).
2. The rooms need bedside lamps to read and not turn on the overhead light in the evenings.
3. A playground is sorely needed! It is in the description on the hotel's website, in fact it is missing. We also need a children's room in the hotel in case of rain and bad weather, because there is nothing to occupy the children right now.
4. You can also put a tennis table and arrange a pleasant neutral musical accompaniment in the pool area and restaurant so as not to sit under the noise of forks and knives.
The beach is a 5-minute walk away, there are gazebos, umbrellas and sun beds (for a fee). A promenade is being built on the embankment, and lamps were installed on our vacation days.
In general, it is very pleasant that hotels are being built and renovated in Abkhazia. The tourism potential is huge! There would be even more entertainment for children - swings, playgrounds, slides. Because now there is only the legacy of the USSR in city parks. The city of Gudauta itself is more suitable for a quiet family holiday. The young people will be bored here.

Daily cleaning service. Bed linen and towels were changed every other day.
Both the bed linen and towels are perfectly white, clean, and look like new. Shower gel, shampoos - everything is supplemented daily. And every day a bottle of water was brought to the room for each resident. This is rarely seen anywhere.
The meals were breakfast and dinner buffet. Yes, the choice is not huge, but there was always plenty to choose from. And most importantly, everything is very tasty, and the pastries are beyond praise. Buns, muffins, cakes - everything is fresh and fragrant.
The hotel has its own beach about a 5-minute walk away. There are gazebos, a toilet, a cafe.
The staff is all very pleasant and helpful.
You can wash your clothes at the hotel for an additional fee, which is also very convenient. There is an ironing board with an iron on each floor and more than one.
And there's also a heated swimming pool.
I definitely recommend the hotel, there is a great desire to return ♥️

The best hotel in Abkhazia and Gudauta itself! We were there for 6 days and they were the best. Delicious fresh food and a variety of dishes, you can have breakfast / dinner both on the veranda (where there is a stunning view of the mountains) and inside, if you want coolness. In the kitchen, all the girls are very friendly and polite, they will always tell you about the menu. There is a heated swimming pool with sun beds on site, so it can be combined with swimming in the sea. By the way, it is a 7-minute walk from the Volga River. Everything in the rooms is fresh and new, pleasant interior, appliances work perfectly (the TV broadcasts a huge number of channels for every taste). Many thanks to the hotel staff - reception, security, maids, kitchen, etc.! Everyone is very friendly, attentive, always prompt on various issues. You can also choose an excursion at the hotel, which the charming Anastasia will choose according to your preferences. We are happy that we were among the first to relax in this heavenly place (the hotel opened at the end of May 2024). I am sure that in the coming years the Volga River will be the most popular place in Gudauta. I heartily recommend this place and give myself 100 stars!!!!

We rested from October 24 to October 29. Basically, all the good things that could be said have already been written by other users.
The hotel was opened in the spring of 2024 after a major reconstruction of the building - the renovation is fresh, pleasant to the eye, not pretentious. The rooms are cozy, everything you need is there, there were no questions about cleanliness, cleaning, changing of linen and towels. There was a moment with a clogged drain in the shower - they calmly decided during the day in our absence. In general, the staff on duty is responsive and friendly, the work experience is very pleasant.
Two buffet meals a day. They write that the menu is modest, but it seemed to us that it is optimal if you plan your leisure time on walks and excursions in the afternoon, and eat normally in the morning and evening and do not have stomach problems. They cook delicious, the food is simple, but satisfying and for every taste. The dining room itself is located in a large bright hall + it is possible to sit at tables outdoors. A wish for the future - there is a great lack of a coffee machine, it was too tight without grain coffee. :)
About the organization of leisure activities. Anastasia, a representative of the tour desk, deserves a separate assessment - in fact, reviews about her have become one of the factors in choosing a hotel. On the very first evening after check-in, we decided on the program of excursions, in addition, she advised us what and how to visit outside the tour within the framework of our interests! And in general, I was always in touch! We spent time on excursions in a fun and interesting way.
By the way, we do not agree with the review that visitors of late/ early excursions remain without food. When we went on an evening tour, dinner was left for us, and this was agreed upon by Anastasia when she signed up for the event.
We can't objectively evaluate the pool and the beach, because we didn't use it - it was already a little cold. :) But we know that it takes about 10 minutes to walk to the sea.
In general, for those who are planning a vacation in the Volga, it is important to understand the following: this place is rather ideal for those who want to spend time in peace and quiet, with their family, and will focus on walks and excursions in their leisure time.
By the way, from an interesting point: if I'm not mistaken, drinking alcohol is not welcome by the rules of the hotel, so you are unlikely to see noise and "Tagiyil".
And the only significant disadvantage, in our opinion, is the seasonality of work. Unfortunately, the hotel does not accept guests in winter.
I would like to thank the hotel team for your hard work and for our good rest! I really wish that next year you would keep the same level and develop further. The hotel has great potential, which will find its consumer in any way! Well, we will try to get back to you again!

My sister and I have been vacationing at the Volga Hotel since 07/8.24 for 10 days in complete delight. The girls met us at the reception with champagne, it was nice after a long journey.The Volga Hotel is well suited for family holidays. The room is clean and cozy. The room was cleaned every day, snow-white linen (changed every 2 days), new modern furniture, air conditioning. Excellent location, 5 minutes to the beach via a beautiful boat. You can work out on the simulators in the park. The sea is clean, the shore is large pebbles (the only minus, but we are used to it....)
Near the hotel there is a red pool, cool photos are obtained ...
The hotel guide Anastasia will advise what you can see in this fabulous country. We visited 4 excursions. The first one was for an Abkhazian feast in the village of Duripsh, 700 people celebrated my birthday... The host Ruslan organized all the guests very well... The winners of the musical competitions of Abkhazia performed..We congratulated the whole company of birthday people. They treated us to national dishes and wines of Abkhazia.. By the end of the evening, everyone had made friends, found new friends. It was unforgettable.
We also visited New Athos, Chernihiv, the Picturesque gorge, and the hot spring. The most unforgettable thing is a jeep tour to Lake Ritsa and the Geghi Waterfall.
The food is varied, delicious, like homemade.
Special thanks to the pastry chef.. On my birthday, the hotel staff congratulated me and presented me with a cake prepared by a local pastry chef.
We are grateful to the owners of the hotel and the entire staff for a very hospitable, warm welcome, high-quality service and a great stay.

Everything was great, the cuisine was excellent, delicious at home and varied. The rooms are clean, towels are changed on request, and then probably only for the reason that it dries badly. The pool is warm and clean. There were no rotoviruses. The hotel has its own tour guide, there is a huge selection, and prices are lower than through tour operators. The town is small and quiet. We stayed at this hotel from 07/27 to 08/03/24
We booked in May, the hotel just opened after reconstruction and there were no reviews, even the tour operator warned that we were going at our own risk, but we decided and did not regret a bit! The sea is a 10-minute walk away, paid umbrellas and sun beds, the beach is a mixture of sand and stones, the entrance to the sea is unpleasant stone, but when you walk up to your neck there is already sand under your feet.
The hotel itself is clean, everything was brand new, beautiful, renovated, yes, economy, the tiles are terribly crooked and the seams are ugly, but who cares))
We didn't have enough clothes dryers, we didn't have a balcony, a towel rail, or a regular dryer - that's a minus. The electricity was often cut off, but the generator was turned on, noisy and smelly, but better than without everything.
On the third day, we caught the rotovirus, which broke all the family members, even though it seemed that we were taking all measures to avoid it.
The pool is good, there were very few people there when we were on vacation.
The staff is friendly, the food is delicious, we didn't go hungry. This year we want to go to Abkhazia again, we are looking for other options, but they all seem worse than the Volga, so it is quite possible to return to it again.
Another disadvantage for those who use a car to enter the territory is that you need to go to the reception on the other side and ask to open the gate, return and drive in, but I think this issue will be resolved or perhaps it has already been decided.

Great hotel! We had a rest from July 16 to July 19, 2024! The staff is wonderful, they meet like dear guests with a glass of champagne, there is always someone at the reception, they are always ready to help, cleaning every day, change of linen, towels, bathrobes on request. We stayed at this hotel from July 15-21. We liked everything very much. The once abandoned boarding house has been converted into a simply beautiful and stylish hotel. It was nice to be everywhere. The rooms are cozy with modern new furniture, many rooms without balconies (unfortunately) but it's not a problem to dry things, because on each floor there are quite large balconies with floor dryers, everything dried perfectly there (not in an hour, of course, as in a dry climate, but we are at sea anyway, this needs to be taken into account)
The staff is friendly, everyone is very nice, smiling, ready to solve any issue.
The kitchen is a fairy tale! This is the biggest plus of the hotel) everything is so delicious that it was impossible to leave something on the plate) I wanted to eat everything, and a separate delight for the hall itself, in which the dining room is located
The pool is stylish, warm, but we didn't swim there much, we still come to swim in the sea) and it was great! All days the water is the purest, warmest. Yes, it's a large pebble, but in aquashouses it's not a problem. The beach is very well equipped, there is always a place under a canopy, there are also paid sun beds (300 rubles) and gazebos (2000 rubles a day)
In our area, you could rent a sap for 600 rubles an hour, a little further away there was a banana and motorcycle rental.
Would you come back to this hotel again? Definitely yes!

We had a vacation with our family in August 2024. Wonderful hotel, delicious food, daily cleaning, excellent on-site swimming pool. The beach is within walking distance with a minimum number of people. The sea is clear.

Gudauta is the city of my childhood, I grew up here) It was nice to relax in a hotel that had recently been abandoned. Excellent repair, there are still flaws, but they have just opened. The quiet town of Gudauta, the chic Volga hotel (which at first was in doubt because of its preserved name), 6-7 minutes to the clear sea. All the staff of the hotel deserves respect and gratitude, they made our stay comfortable! The girl, Anastasia, who offered sightseeing tours, helped a lot with the choice. I rested from 07/10/2024 for 9 nights. The hotel is new. We were greeted with cold champagne at the reception, after the transfer itself. I was in May 2024 at the inspection of this hotel as part of a promotional tour, as a travel agent. The hotel is completely renovated - major repairs are completed, the furniture is all new. It is very conveniently located relative to the infrastructure, the beach is equipped with sun beds and cabins.
There are "smart" bedside tables in the room.
Heated swimming pool, large enough with two areas for children, descent to the pool with large steps in the water.
I left a good first impression, I hope the service will be on the level.

Now , in order . We got here completely by accident, rebooked from another hotel, which had very negative reviews. We didn 't regret it for a second . The hotel is new (after reconstruction), everything is stylish, tasteful, has everything you need: a kettle and a hairdryer in the room, an ironing board and an iron in the lobby on each floor, clothes dryers on shared balconies. We had a suite. Gorgeous! I'll attach a photo . For your money, it's generally a bomb!) we have been to different hotels, this one was pleasantly surprised.
According to the service: daily room cleaning , replenishment of drinking water, 0.5 per person (a trifle, but pleasant)) as well as tea and sugar . In 10 days, we had our linen changed twice and our towels changed three times . Both are perfect, boiling white, it looks like it's new.
The interior of the halls is also pleasing to the eye.
Beach. Excellent, equipped, clean, with great infrastructure: gazebos, canopies, shower, changing rooms , clean toilet. The playground is small. Rental of all and sundry water activities)

This is not the first time we have been to Abkhazia, we have already visited almost all the main tourist places, but this year we decided to go to the Ritsa once again, to show the lake to the children. Well, we got to nutrition : I'll say right away: if diversity and exclusivity are important to you, then you are not here. The food is more of a dining room than a restaurant.it is not diverse and there is not a large selection of dishes . BUT : satisfying, delicious, homemade. And DIVINE pastries and cottage cheese casseroles in the morning . Special respect and gratitude to all the staff of the canteen .
And probably the biggest plus for us is that there are few people . Apparently, just not many people know about this hotel yet, and in the future everything will change (which, of course, I wish the hotel), but now the dining room is half empty, no queues at the distribution, perfectly clean dishes, a lot of tables, comfortable chairs. You can sit down both in the hall and on the street.
We definitely recommend this hotel to those who do not like large crowds, appreciate comfort and silence.
