But I want to focus separately on some dishes that need to be served in a different way, for example, hominy, it is cooked in advance and you serve it as "frozen wheat porridge", I understand perfectly well that it is difficult to serve such a dish with individual cooking. But it can be done in a different way, before serving, you can stir a small saucepan with boiled water and bring it to a boil and it will feel like you have just boiled it. I would like to note separately about your recipe for lyulya kebab, lyulya kebab is tasteless, you have a Cook's waitress, I told her the recipe for lyulya kebab, which is of great value. ( (If she missed it, please unsubscribe and I'll tell you). According to the work of the waitresses, they confuse who is carrying what every day, because there is no clear link to the table, everything is carried in a row, one person can understand the order, three dishes are brought by three different people. And that's why the swan, the crab, and the pike didn't bring three dishes for one dinner. On the first day, we ate two dishes that had nothing to do with our table, and in the following days we realized that it was normal practice to carry other people's dishes to other tables.

We had a rest in New Athos for the New Year. The cafe was recommended at the hotel. Indeed, we have visited many establishments, but the food tastes best here. We ordered a lot of dishes, the portions are average, but very satisfying! I especially loved Kharcho soup!!! A separate plus is the staff. We were served most often by Cook, thanks to her we felt warmth, comfort and cordiality. This restaurant is quite a popular place, so sometimes there was a big influx of guests. The restaurant's receptionist always came up, apologized and warned that she would have to wait a bit. It's a small thing, but such attention to customers is very pleasant!!! I definitely recommend the cafe!

We came here on the last day of our vacation and were pleasantly surprised!
Very tasty trout, the best boat that we tried during the whole vacation (and we ate in places of different price segments). Pleasant waiters bring everything when ready, the whole order was ready in 15 minutes, which is very fast for a dish on the grill. Two trout + 1L juice + boat + service came out ~ 2000 rubles - this is an excellent price for such a delicious lunch.

We had a rest in New Athos in June 2024. After visiting various establishments in the city, we chose this cafe for ourselves as the best in terms of price / quality. The food is really delicious and the portions are large. For me, the big minus is that there has never been bread!!! You ask for a piece of bread - they say no, there is only homemade pita bread. There are no questions about pita bread, it is very tasty, hot, straight from the oven with a crispy crust. But what if I don't need a huge pita bread, I want 1 piece of bread! After reading the reviews, we visited this institution.
Pros: delicious food, interesting interior.
Cons: there is no toilet, a fairly small room and therefore there are always a lot of people, the doors to the street are open and there is no sense in having a toilet, well, the most important minus is the staff. They serve reluctantly, there is hatred for visitors on their faces (perhaps due to fatigue), our order was mixed up (partially) and they did not bring what we asked for, well, finally they overestimated the amount of the bill. I paid with my card (inserted the card into the terminal, dialed the PIN code and took the card). Then the waiter came and said that the payment had not passed and the procedure had to be repeated. I didn't have the phone number that the card is linked to with me, so I couldn't verify the payment. And as a result, I found out at the hotel that I paid the bill twice with a difference of 1 minute.

Beef there, according to my feelings, was 20 percent. And they charged us like a beef cradle. We ordered khinkali for the child. They couldn't bring them even after an hour! I would have already managed to make them, or even cook them. We reminded the waiter about the hinkals several times, and an hour later there was such an answer: we changed the water. And the cherry on the cake: juice from tangerines. Which had more than half a pumpkin in it. Aren't you ashamed? Tangerines grow on almost every tree, and you even manage to deceive people on this. The only thing we liked was tandoor pita bread. The stove maker is well done! The girl at the bar should at least change her facial expression a little, otherwise with such a "royal" look, she can only stand at the bar. I hope the owner of the establishment will devote time not to fake reviews, but to real improvement of the service. I know very good establishments in Abkhazia and in new Athos, in particular. 1) They couldn't even eat the beef kebab, they gave it back. Hard and sinewy, couldn't cut with knives!!!
2) Grilled vegetables - only the name comes from them. There are exactly 1 piece in a serving: 1 slice of eggplant burned from two sides (photo attached), 1/3 of red pepper burnt peel, but okay, pepper is baked like that if you keep it for a long time, the skin was removed and there was a normal red pepper inside, 1 champignon, 1 tomato, 1 slice of zucchini.
3) Khachapur meat (the name may be slightly different. Forgotten). 3 pieces of "sausage" were put in the boat. The boat is not bad, but there is a lot of salt in the cheese. It's already an amateur here. Let's omit the moment with salt.
From the good or the normal:
1. Caesar with shrimp. The shrimps are 4 pieces warm and there are a lot of lettuce leaves in the sauce. There was not enough flavor in the sauce. It's delicate but tasteless. Here there was not enough salt and some piquancy!

She is the manager, she just decided to "hang" everything on the waitress. actually, the wrong waiter girl took the order, but another male waiter took the order, and did not even bring the ordered juice, justifying this by saying that "We didn't put it on the bill, they say, "What are you complaining about."
This is the first time we are in Abkhazia, maybe it is accepted here, but I don't think that much...
The whole situation escalated when I made an order based on the menu (lamb kebab: 100 grams - about 400 rubles). I really wanted these 100 grams of lamb meat! ..BUT....
But since there were no warnings about some minimum of grams on the menu, there were also no questions from the waiter about how much this lamb was needed, at the end of the evening, instead of these 400 rubles, all 1200 rubles (for a lamb) were revealed in the bill, which was not at all useful!!
That is, no one warned us, and they also drove us that we do not know the "customs" (that 100 grams is some kind of incomprehensible minimum that they cannot provide, although this information is written in the Menu!)
We paid this money after we found out that this amount would be deducted from the waiter, a girl who simply fixed our check, but did not even accept the order.
It turns out that we sacrificed our plans without even finishing this lamb!!!It turned out terribly.... It's not pleasant.... The money was calculated for one thing, in fact it turned out to be another.
In conclusion, I will tell you what happened in the end... The next day we came to find out why we were treated like this. We were given a gift only after I called and talked to the director. We have been to this cafe 3 times, 2 times in the second and the last in a small one, in general there are no complaints about the food, but there is a service. Of the three of us, two ordered a kebab, one chicken, the second pork, the waiter brought and delivered it to the wrong person, but randomly, as a result, the dishes went to the wrong person who ordered. They called the waitress, asked what kind of meat was in the cradle, replied that one was beef, the second was chicken pork, silently turned around and left. As a result, there was no beef in the bill, it was what was ordered on the menu. In general, the waiter did not know the menu at all, what the dishes were made of, puts them on the table at random, generally does not care who ordered what and walks with a brick face

One of the best cafes in New Athos. The atmosphere is pleasant, the staff is polite, and they cook, well, just lick your fingers. I recommend it to everyone.
