I rarely leave reviews, because competing in this genre with an army of bots doesn't seem like a very meaningful activity, but the impressions of dinner at this institution forced me to make an exception.
I was looking for a place to complement the impressions of a trip to the Eye of Dubai with a pleasant dinner. Very nice cozy veranda with a nice view. Unfortunately, the positive impressions end there.
The menu is extremely poor. Poor, of course, not in terms of prices, which, taking into account the location, are noticeably higher than the average for Dubai, but in terms of the range of dishes.
The bolognese sauce is just no good. Honestly, it even causes some surprise how you can make a bolognese so tasteless. It is forbidden to directly mention competitors in the reviews here, but in the chain of Italian restaurants, which exists in both Moscow and Dubai, almost any dish is prepared better. A really beautiful serve saves the day a bit.
To summarize: one star for the interior and location, one more for serving dishes.
I find it difficult to identify the target audience. This is probably either a business dinner, when the atmosphere and the opportunity to calmly "cough up questions" are more important (and there are practically no visitors in the restaurant during the evening rush hour), or the need to impress a frivolous young lady.
PS. The establishment is not kids friendly, there is no children's menu and children's portions, or they are not offered.
I haven't studied the kitchen in detail, but it's a good view. Clean and tidy, it's not scary to eat. Although, as everywhere else in Dubai, the average check is high
