I got a passport with a visa there. Everything is very convenient and fast. They approached me informally and gave me my passport without presenting my identity card. I didn't bring it from the hotel. I only showed the photo on my phone.

The organization of work is excellent - we received an American visa, spent 7-10 minutes on everything, BUT!!!! We were in Astana for an interview on Tuesday, as it turned out on the eve of Nauryz (Nowruz) and nowhere (NOWHERE!!!) There was no warning that there would be days off from Thursday to Monday inclusive. On Thursday morning we arrived to receive the documents, the notification that they were transferred to the delivery service came on Wednesday after 16:00, and the office is closed until Tuesday! And there were many such people. The security of the business center says so every year.
Add weekend alerts, especially if it's several days in a row, and you'll just be "great"

For so many years, they have not even bothered to write a simple robot that will track the departure date of the aircraft in applications and warn employees that they need to AT LEAST pay attention to such people and take steps to have their visa applications reviewed at the embassy as a matter of urgency. The way they work is the 2010s, and now it's the 2020s and customers have the right to an individual approach. To the one who initially built business processes in this place is a shame and a firm "failure"! That's why you didn't give up with your indifference - anyone can bring documents across the street and not pay you anything.
