Vesuvius is one of the active volcanoes and is considered one of the most dangerous, located near Naples. We went up on foot from the bottom, 20 minutes out of time. The views are crazy on Naples, on the sea. It would be cool to see the sunset from Vesuvius, but the entry time is limited to 18:00. We looked into the crater, saw a little smoke, the process is underway. And although the last eruption was in 1944, coincidentally, immediately after our departure from Naples, Vesuvius began to show high activity. 😲

Handsome, majestic, powerful. Surrounded by a host of clouds, it is higher than all the surrounding steeps! It looks great from the peaks of Naples. Especially in the clouds. It's like it's continuing to erupt.

I was with my wife in Naples, saw and took pictures against the background of the famous Vesuvius! God carried us through and the active volcano remained silent)))
