Finally, we have found the very place where we would like to return! And we're back.
We happened to look in, but we were so pleasantly impressed.
Meal. Delicious! That's the truth! Whatever you order, it's straight to the heart. The chef personally came out and brought out the dish. The pitch is very effective. And his love for his work and sincere conversation is just the cherry on the cake.
Staff. It is worth noting the warm welcome from the whole team. Everyone was very kind and hospitable. The smiles and their efforts lifted the mood higher and higher☺️
Hookah. Everything is fine here too. We listened to the wishes and it was perfect. The hookah man always changed the coals on time, unobtrusively asked from time to time if everything was okay. He's a great guy.
Music. It created a special positive and relaxed mood. It fit perfectly and added a zest to the colorful landscape.
Interior. We were on the veranda. It's a beautiful view. Cozy sofas. Blankets. Everything is very cozy.
As a result, we were very satisfied. In our opinion, everything is perfect. We will definitely look into your next trip and recommend it to your friends.
P.S. And the best part is that these guys didn't even mention getting a review. While this is requested in almost every institution in Baku, where the level of cuisine and atmosphere is clearly inferior. Therefore, we bet all 5⭐️ from the bottom of our hearts♥️☺️ Good luck and see you soon)
Recently, my family and I visited the wonderful cafe “Venice”, located on Primorsky Boulevard. This cozy establishment has become a great place for our rest after long walks around the city.
From the very beginning, our attention was attracted by the very location of the cafe - it is located right on the water channels, which create the atmosphere of a real Venice. There is a stunning view of the sea promenade around, which makes this place even more picturesque.
The menu of the cafe “Venice” offers dishes of European and Azerbaijani cuisine. Everything was prepared according to our wishes and turned out to be at the highest level.
I would especially like to mention the service in the cafe - the waiters were polite and attentive, always ready to help in choosing dishes and drinks.
Overall, we were very pleased with our visit to the Venice Cafe! :)

Daily rent of housing in the center of Kaliningrad
Expensive, noisy, not tasty. Prices are several times higher than in other tourist places. We took dolma, salad with meat, lamb in wine sauce and 2 ice cubes - 108 manats. The dolma was very salty, ice tea was just water with syrup, there was no tea there. Mutton without side dish, that is, just fatty meat with fried onions.
The main disadvantage is the cacophony of sounds from two restaurants, it feels like both restaurants are competing to see who has the louder and more fun music.
Card payment does not work (10/30.24). At the end of dinner, get ready to run to the ATM at the mall (~800m one way).
The waiter of Samir restaurant is engaged in deception and fraud. The restaurant management encourages deception of tourists.
1) When transferring the order, I included bread (non-free), we had to ask again and explicitly refuse
2) When listing the order, he included a double portion of kebabs, although we ordered one portion and announced in advance that we were worried that there would be a large portion even with one kebab, he cheated and included two when listing the order, we did not pay attention, he thought it meant ordering two portions. As a result, they brought us a huge portion, for x2 cost
3) At the time of payment, he did not bring a check and said that they only accept cash, and that he had warned us in advance (of course, he did not warn us, since neither my husband nor I had heard a word about it). He verbally told me the amount of the check, which turned out to be 1 manat more than the amount in the check. I had to walk down the street, look for an ATM, pay a commission for cash withdrawals.
4) After payment, he brought the change and literally stood over the table and watched when we would tip, did not leave the table. I asked if the service was not included in the receipt (I saw the inscription about 10% in the menu), to which he said to my face, "No, of course not included," I asked again, definitely not included, to which this unscrupulous man said, "No, why would I cheat?" I hesitated and asked him to bring the check. 10% - 15 manats have already been included in the check!! The man blatantly lied to his face to get an extra tip!
It was the first time we encountered such behavior, and we left with an incredibly unpleasant feeling that such fraud could occur in a restaurant!
Such an assessment for the feeling of being fooled. Two black coffees, two ice creams and two aperols - 73 manats? Neither the bill nor the check arrived. They just paid lip service to how much we owe. If the prices are true, then sooo expensive!! We over 50 in other good restaurants overeat at dinner with my husband (first course, dessert, compote)
It's a great place. If you want to drink a glass of wine and enjoy a little Venetian, you are definitely here. Beautifully and directly evokes emotions that are not found anywhere else.
Yes, you have to be prepared to see this in Baku. There are simply unrealistic queues to go boating, mostly Pakistanis, Indians and apparently Japanese.
An evening walk along the Baku embankment naturally required a continuation in the form of dinner. About In
I read Venice in must see reviews, so when I saw the canals with boats, we went there. They were greeted coolly, they did not communicate in Russian, an employee with knowledge of English was invited, then everything is "normal". Imagine a two-storey restaurant on an artificial island with an open area surrounded by channels. Semi-darkness, the menu is in Azerbaijani and English, the prices are above average. Salad, hot dishes, two glasses of wine and tea in rubles came out in a little over 5 thousand. Delicious, full portions, it was 10 minutes before the first serving to take a walk, take a photo. The completion was a bit upsetting. After taking a hundred, the waiter disappeared, apparently deciding that the tip was already his. After the reminder, the change was brought and left by us, but the joy of the first walk around Baku was gone.
Don't go to this restaurant. It's tasteless, but the prices are above average. It is dirty, dusty, the waiters lay out carpets in the restaurant, then serve dishes and food with dirty hands. The owner lies about the quality and composition of the dishes, the most unpleasant person we met in Baku during the trip.
A very beautiful, cozy place, in the city center, you can go boating with the whole family... The price per person is 3 manats...

Dear tourists, pass this place by.
- dishes are not washed (photo attached)
- the food is too salty
- "homemade wine" from a package of 15 manats
- there is no menu in Russian
- the waiters walk around and talk to their friends via video link
- in the end, it turns out that the fact that the bread was brought to you was not a compliment, but included in the bill.
- "Oh, we don't have a cash terminal, so let's go, I'll take it to the ATM, and the ATM exchange rate is worse than at the airport."
I always wanted to get into this restaurant, but how disappointed we were, lemonade is the same as tap water with only sugar, fish with a smell, the order was waited for about an hour, and the prices are not cheap
I do not recommend visiting! It's not tasty, it's half-baked. And when they made claims, they told us that they were tired of us. They didn't even apologize! Don't spoil your impression of Baku. There are many places where it is delicious and you are welcome!
Don't set foot there!
We came for breakfast, only the cook and the cleaner were on site, the cook served us. They don't speak English, they only speak two words in Russian.
We ordered cappuccino and rice porridge. After ordering, I had to wait 20 minutes, during which time they did not even bring coffee. Instead of cappuccino, they brought Americano: "there is no barista, I am a cook." Instead of porridge, they brought rice for pilaf, floating in milk.
I had to leave
The staff is wonderful, the location of the restaurant and its artistic execution will take you for a while to the real Venice in the center of Baku) Delicious baklava from Baku and excellent cuisine. The view from the restaurant on the mighty Caspian Sea pleases both the soul and the eye.
I was disappointed with this restaurant, I do not recommend visiting it! Tasteless and expensive. Wine is 5 times more expensive than in the store. The quality of the dishes and the service does not meet the price tag on the menu. The service is disgusting - we are faced with the arrogance and rudeness of the staff. Change is not brought, be prepared to sit and wait a long time. Requests are ignored. I have been to different countries, I have never seen such service anywhere.
A system of walking water channels, islands and stairs. It is beautiful during the day and with evening illumination. You can take romantic photos, especially if there is also a fiery tower in the evening in the frame.
They ordered breakfast, pieces of glass were caught in the jam, hair in another dish, boorish service, they did not apologize for the inconveniences provided and said that they did not care that anything happens…
It's beautiful, but for exactly three minutes, you won't have time to understand how the circle is finished, just someone's good idea, a restaurant channel,
Walked up / got cold / went to drink tea... Yes, we sat there almost until closing)) Unobtrusively and attentively served. They advised me what to warm up/ what to eat. I liked almost everything. I don't even know why "good" and not "excellent")) Probably because sometimes it was draughty from somewhere (although we were located in the corner) and the music was playing loudly (it was regularly turned down, but somehow not enough)...
Why do you come here?
Come in the daytime, look at this dirt, stains and unpleasant smell. And waiters who don't know their own menu.
Not to love yourself for paying for this...
