There are always a lot of people here, because the place is very popular and appreciated by the locals as well. The taste of the drink itself is truly unforgettable, I was advised to try it with the words "you've never tasted this." But in fact, it looks very much like a drink from a distant childhood, I don't know if anyone else has drunk it. Oatmeal with homemade kvass and sugar. The taste is almost identical, but there is still a bright taste of cinnamon in the bose.

A very colorful place with a history! A must-visit! It is unique in its traditions and atmosphere! Bosa is delicious. You can also purchase pomegranate sauce, balsamic vinegar, and lemon juice from your own production. But the most important thing is the indescribable feeling and aftertaste of Istanbul's history!

I advise you to visit Vefa Bozacisi. We happened to be passing by and the place attracted us with its authenticity. We went to see and tasted the unusual drink boza (Boza is a traditional Turkish drink made from fermented wheat). At first glance (or rather, the taste), you might think that bosa is similar to another drink, salep, but they are completely different and each has its own story and taste. You can buy a cup of Booze, as well as in a larger container to take away. There is also a homemade pomegranate sauce in the assortment. If you don't want to stand in line, come back in the evening.

An unusual drink, cool, slightly sour, very satisfying. It is better to buy the nuts opposite and add them to the drink. That's what the locals advised us. If we visit Istanbul again, we will definitely come here again. Moreover, our favorite restaurant Mato Et is located nearby.

We lived nearby and seeing large crowds of people at this place every evening, we looked in to find out what was there and did not regret it. A very tasty, authentic drink. It resembles apple or pear puree, although it has nothing in common in the composition. Very tasty. They came to eat for several days. I recommend it as an exotic. I brought it to my parents as a gift from Turkey, they really liked it.

If you haven't been to this place in Istanbul yet, be sure to visit and try the local fermented wheat drink Bosu. Sweet yogurt with cinnamon. It looks like an amateur, but even babies are fed with it. It only works in the evening. On the contrary, they also sell a local dish, cheese halva. Definitely try it too!)

We were walking down the street in the evening and noticed high activity near the entrance to this cafe, we went in and did not regret it. The traditional dessert boza resembles sweet Greek yogurt of high density, but with a fermented aftertaste, it is better to wash it down with hot tea or coffee. The cafe is very authentic inside and out.

It's a wonderful place. A vibrant atmosphere. In the evenings, people with families and children also spend time here. It's crowded. A historical place.

Authentic. Delicious. 60 lire per cup. But it turned out to be so satisfying, I drank and ate boza for a long time while I was walking. Sour. A little sweet. The aftertaste of bread with milk or kvass... in my opinion. I'll take more)

A pleasant historical place. Boza tastes like mashed pears to me. It's a very useful thing for digestion, but you can't get used to it a lot and often. We bought a jar with us.

Unfortunately, there is no company that does it on Bozada. Only the prices are high, the cinnamon they use is very high quality, it is not like the bad cinnamon you use at home. The smell is picked up at 50 meters. The biggest problem is the parking problem, if possible, you need to come after 11.

It's a great place. You can feel the history. I've already come to the boza well, it's perfect enough to wash. Since the circulation is very high, we didn't have much of a parking problem and a desk problem. It's always as busy as it deserves to be. I definitely recommend it.

It is now one of the symbols of Istanbul. I've been drinking boza from there for almost 30 years, and I take it home. Boza is beautiful, it can be consumed together with boza by taking leblebi on the street. It is very difficult to find a place in the car. It is almost always busy.

the flavors are super, but you go and buy the chickpeas in the opposite store, like the ice house, they're being too economical, and the presentation in plastic cups is also a separate mistake, I don't think it suits a company older than 100 years

Vefa Bozacısı is located in the Vefa district of Fatih district of Istanbul. It started its service as an institution in 1876. Ottoman It is a family company that has witnessed the establishment of the republic from the empire to the world wars and has continued its existence during this period. If you are coming by public transport, if you get off at the “Vefa” stop before the Bozdoğan Arch, it is a 5-minute walk away. If you go in from the street where the IMM Reşat Nuri Theater is located and continue straight, you can see the historical Vefa High School on the right and the historical Vefa Bozacısı on the left. It's a great place. You can feel the history and the taste very much.

The cafeteria, it is more than 100 years old, the marble step has been trodden for years, A very delicious drink, for which they go there, it was interesting for me to see the interior, preserved since the time of Ataturk and the glass from which he drank!!

A place we come to very often, it's always crowded, but it's always boring No way, boza is great anyway, it's a historical place, and you get chickpeas from it, whether you're sitting or standing, the conversation is enjoyable. There is a fast circulation, there is not much waiting anyway.

Traffic gridlock Most of the crowded people go to take photos, there is no room because of cars and balloon sellers, it makes more sense to buy ready-made from outside and drink at home

We visited the place on 02/07/2023 after lunch. We took 2 portions of the dish, the employee did not say how much it costs, but we had 50 lire with the smallest bill, they did not give us change 🤷🏻♀️ It seems that they cheated, but there is no price tag/menu anywhere. You can take it with you, or you can sit in the hall. The entourage is interesting, you can even find out that Ataturk visited them 👍🏼 The place is quite historical and interesting. The dish itself is quite peculiar, for an amateur. PS: I took off the asterisks for not deigning to name / write the cost of the dessert / drink.
