The store on the waiting area before entering the registration channels is not working, and apparently it has been for a long time. There is a Beltamozhservice trailer nearby where you can buy snacks: hot dogs, tartilla, etc. The woman in the trailer works extremely slowly and seems to be deliberately stretching the queue. He responds rudely to comments. And there is no desire to approach her again. The waiting time before entering the registration channels can be up to several hours.
While driving through the border, I did not notice that this facility was working, possibly due to the fact that it was night time. Basically, you can't get a lot of things on the RP.
In every sense, the bridge is in a state where it would be more efficient to use it as a backup, rather than the main one. I would like to believe that sometime in the foreseeable future there will be a new, wide, durable and modern Warsaw Bridge, which will be considered not only as a technical one. a structure for moving from point "A" to point "B", but also as a business card! I want to enjoy the process of crossing the border, and not experience extreme stress. Unfortunately, this is the case today. The traffic is mind-blowing, the average time to cross both borders can reach a day(!) or more...how "lucky". I hope the situation will change for the better in the near future. Let's wait and see!
The largest bridge on the border of Belarus and Poland is the largest passageway for the current flow on the middle of the bridge, the Belarusian coat of arms weighs on a wooden pole
On the way back, the Belarusian border guard was very biased about why he should go to Poland for three days and not bring anything back!!! The answer was that he was just not satisfied with the tour at all. Everything was turned out in the car! At least the hull was intact.
A creepy border crossing. Belarusians have an hour and Poles have three hours. Belarusians have a toilet only for entry, not for exit. And the Poles only pay for zlotys
