They began to order coffee, clarified what syrups there are, we were told "We have a lot of them") so, of course, it is much clearer what to choose. The barista did not specify whether we had coffee with us or to take away when ordering, when ready, the coffee was in cups, we clarified why it was not in mugs, to which we were answered "we are closing soon" at 20:45, well, the coffee shop is open until 22:00..
It's not very pleasant.. the impression is ruined..

We regularly visit Vark on Novaya Borovaya. Always delicious coffee, pleasant staff. But today I was wildly horrified by the attitude of the staff.. I ordered Americano and cappuccino with vegetable milk, paid 7.50, repeated the order to the guy, as I was confused by the cost, but he confirmed that he understood everything correctly.
Next, the guy made me an Americano, poured milk there, gives it to me and starts laughing, saying "Well, is it okay?" then his partner picked it up and started laughing too ... I made a remark about the order and about the behavior, but I did not receive any explanation of the situation! I paid 5.50 extra and got my long-awaited coffee.
I never understood what it was!!
Firstly, tactless and disrespectful behavior towards the visitor.
Secondly, the absolute lack of communication skills
And thirdly, there were doubts about the payment, I paid 5.50 for Americano (although the menu says 5) and 7.50 for cappuccino with vegetable milk, but I did not find its cost in the menu…
Conclusion: improperly selected and poorly trained staff directly affects the loss of regular customers. I won't be back there soon!

Apparently something happened in the work area and the dishwasher tray, fully loaded with dirty dishes, was standing on the bar counter. A barista in an apron was washing the dishwasher (well, at least with gloves on). Apparently, because of this, the waiting time for the order increased, since before that, apparently, there was a large order that one employee was forced to fulfill. At the same time, there was a girl without a uniform in the work area and did not bother to help the barista in fulfilling the order. Is it so accepted in your country that a person can be in a sanitary zone in street clothes? I put 4 stars just for a nice barista and very delicious coffee 👍

On 28/12/23 (13:07), this coffee shop accepted an order for an Irish Coffee drink.
As a result:
- the drink turned out to be overheated (boiling water);
- it turned out to be impossible to drink after "cooling down". (it is unclear what was in the composition and strongly smelled of alcohol).
Before that, all the coffee shop's drinks were delicious and did not arouse suspicion... The desire to visit the coffee shop is gone.
***My comment on the official response of the coffee shop:
1. Do not make "fools" of visitors, the drink turned out to be "do not understand what" (before this case I had already ordered an Irish coffee in this coffee shop - I know what the "+" result should be).
2. I already regret that I did not return the "prepared drink" to the "barista", I would like to personally find out his opinion after tasting (if it turned out to be "+", I would gladly offer to drain the cup to the bottom and would be delighted to see how the barista drains the glass =))))
p/s - I poured the drink as a result and did not waste time on conflict. Next time, I'll do it differently.

But all this fades because of the unfriendly and untidy employees (not everyone here is like that, there are friendly ones, but there are few of them). They exude negative and heavy energy, which immediately decreases the mood level. Due to the fact that they are apparently too lazy to wash the dishes, they offer to serve coffee not in a mug, but in a cardboard cup, and plates are often brought wet or with lint from towels.

I brought a guest - they cheated on her, did not even apologize and did not offer any kind of bonus or substitution as an apology. The last time I came in, I ordered a RAF. Before that, everything was fine with him, but now there was a feeling that he was not on cream at all, but on milk or cream was diluted with something. In general, a beautiful institution spoils the human factor. Management, please do something about it already. Otherwise, you will not stay in this place for a long time, unfortunately
