We visited in April 2025. You can only buy tickets by card!! The card can be issued at the local post office if you are traveling by yourself. The cost is 750,000 pounds. Only 3 tombs can be visited at this price. It's very hot inside the hailstone. We really regretted that we took an umbrella. It was just hot outside at 10 a.m. There is a cafe on site, almost everything in it costs 200-250 pounds, and at the entrance to the territory there is a toilet for 15 pounds. All the tombs that we visited: Ramses III and VI and IX, are painted with colored drawings inside. Some have small corridors and rooms that are not accessible. Of course, everything is impressive, realizing how many centuries ago it was all created. There are also tombs of Tutankhamun, Ramses VI, and Seti I, deeper and with more interesting preserved details, but for an additional fee of 2,000 pounds. We didn't go. Be sure to bring water and hats with you.

In my opinion, one of the main attractions in Egypt. We were in December, burned and tormented by the heat. We do not recommend going in summer or spring, the temperature is even worse. Take comfortable shoes, wear T-shirts with sleeves and hats. Tickets are purchased at the ticket office only with a bank card, the main ticket includes a visit to the territory and two or three tombs. And there are more than ten of them, and you can "get" tickets to specific tombs. Of course, go to Tutankhamun, his mummy is also in the tomb in a glass case. It is very interesting to look at the painted corridors and rooms, it is an unusual and interesting experience. Turn on your imagination, how it was done in ancient times, how heavy blocks of stone were dragged, how they were all cut and decorated. Fantastic!

It's impressive. A must-visit. It is more convenient with a small group (there are offers for 8 people for $ 60 per person). But it's even better by car with a guide, because it's early. It's not that hot yet and there aren't many people at all. It's getting crowded closer to lunch. Take Egyptian pounds with you, water and toilets are cheaper than paying in dollars. The toilet costs 15 pounds, you can safely negotiate and visit these places for 5. And this is 10 rubles). You do not need to take souvenirs, do not show interest in them. Then you can't fight back
