We chose the Valdivia hotel solely on the basis of positive reviews and good photos, which we regret! Firstly, the biggest and fattest minus is a very steep staircase from the first floor directly from the entrance and then a very steep spiral staircase to the floors. It is unrealistically difficult for the elderly!This is an incredible challenge for lifting luggage.There is no reception on the ground floor, due to lack of space. The hotel is small, with three rooms per floor, it seems there are three floors, on the fourth there is a type of veranda where people have breakfast.Our room was called triple room 202, they write 24 meters, visually it is not so! . Not fresh, worn furniture, a hole in the ceiling in front of the entrance, a hole in the bathroom under the sink, little light. There is a pseudo light bulb above the sink that is not lit. Shaving is uncomfortable. Mold in the shower stall. The most unpleasant thing is the view from the window, it looks out into the courtyard, so to speak. It's an eerie sight, the ventilation pipe is sticking out, the windows from the neighboring house are three meters away, everything is shabby. We curtained the windows so as not to spoil our mood and so that we could not be seen from the neighboring windows in the evening. For the last three days, the air conditioner practically did not work in the evening, and in the afternoon it worked fine, apparently there was not enough power.
