Urgench is a beautiful city, the restaurant and cafe are very tasty, especially tukhum barak, shivit oshi and, of course, fried carp. The people are hospitable, the last year in Urgench, suzma pilaf, the table is popular in the establishments of Admin pilaf and Akbar Osh, they cook very well there, I advise you to go there.

I'll start with the interior, we really liked sitting comfortably, in the late afternoon they turned on the music and a beautiful light began to shine.Perhaps because of the upcoming celebration at the next table. The waiters are completely unprepared to meet Russian-speaking guests, in order to understand us, they alternately changed. Their clothes were specific in a white shirt, black pants and slippers, which they later changed for the event. The chef of the restaurant personally came up and apologized for the fact that the waiters did not know the language, it was just a surprise.
In general, we ate well until they brought us a medium-rare steak, which is cooked for 7 minutes, and it turned out to be very salty and far from medium-rare, we called the chef, who understands us and he offered to redo it. Then it was cooked for 30 minutes, if not more, and there was definitely no medium roast. No apologies were received and a 12% tip was taken for the service, which is not true.

There's nothing to see in the city! A large monument, and the most beautiful building is a new model for the regional tax service. This place is not a tourist destination, people just live here! The city has an airport, so the city is used as a transit point. Tip: if you travel to Uzbekistan and you have an arrival or departure via Urgench, do not put any time to walk here. It is better to pay all attention to the nearby Khiva!

I went to this place on purpose. When I arrived, the pop music was turned on at high volume. Some kind of dancing around 15:00. I realized that I couldn't eat in peace. Therefore, I had to look for another cafe/restaurant.
