Universal Studio is a huge amusement park with a lot of different shops and restaurants on different themes ("Harry Potter", "Kung Fu Panda", "Transformers", "Minions" and "Jurassic Park"). For example, if you come to Hogwarts, you can find a magic wand store and not only and also try butter beer. If you go to the Kung Fu Panda location, you can try panda dumplings. This park definitely differs in its atmosphere from other parks.
The most interesting and impressive attractions for me were a flight on a broomstick in the Harry Potter location (located at Hogwarts), a car ride through the park with dinosaurs in the Jurassic Park location. But there are also many other interesting attractions.
To have time to ride all the attractions, I advise you to take an Express Pass, because there are queues in which you have to wait more than 2 hours.

Cool new amusement park in Beijing. It is convenient to get by metro (the terminal station of the red line seems to be yellow, and is called "universal resort"). The scale is impressive. The territory is large, at first there are various cafes and shops. The main area of the park is divided into thematic zones: transformers, aquatic world, Jurassic period, kung fu panda, children's zone and minions..the cafe from the movie "back to the future" is closer. The best thing for me is the world of Harry Potter, Hogwarts Castle and Hogsmeade Village. There are several attractions in each zone, and different shows are also held. In general, something like the Port Aventura Park in Spain, but with the theme of Universal films. The attraction at Harry Potter's castle was the most impressive. We even went 2 times. The queue is not particularly annoying, because it goes through the castle, and it is very interesting and there is something to take pictures of. The attraction itself is simply fascinating, this is the first time I've been on it. I have previously been on flights with the effect of virtual reality, but here it is still combined with the attraction, plus of course all these gorgeous views from the movie!
I liked the attraction in the Jurassic zone, it's not scary, you just fly on a light and admire the beautiful views, but there are always the biggest queues here.

For fans of adrenaline, a roller coaster with a transformer zone is suitable. It is good to take a boat ride with children in the world of kung fu panda.

I recommend you to visit. There are a lot of locations for photos. There are attractions for teenagers (adults) as well as for smaller children. It was winter. There are a lot of people, even on Monday. There are many places where you can buy a snack. There is also a cafe (especially in front of the park itself). We were at the KFS, we liked the food. We took a set (French fries, hamburger and cola). It is better to buy tickets in advance, on Tripcom. (select English, then the book button will appear). Payment in rubles from a Russian bank card. We took the subway.
