The hotel is located on the north coast of the island
Jeju in the area of Evol (Aewol). I must say right away: the hotel does not have its own beach, like almost all hotels in Jeju.
But there are excellent beaches around the hotel (for example,
Gwaki). However, it is better to get to them by car.
But let's take it in order.
First, about the hotel. Although he is 4 *
", he pulls at all 5*
Several restaurants, pools or jacuzzis in the rooms. A large area. Compared to most hotels in Jeju, it clearly wins.
The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean. Everything works. The breakfasts are varied.
Every day of the week the set of dishes is different.
You can have dinner or lunch either in the hotel's restaurants or in the surrounding cafes and small restaurants. Again, you need a car.
Now about the beaches. There are few buses. It is easier to rent a car at a/n and drive to different beaches. The sea is not deep and its depth near the shore changes every day: sometimes knee-deep, then head-deep. The water is clean. There are fish and crabs, so it will be interesting to swim with a mask.
Now about the food. Korean authentic food for an amateur: both taste and presentation. We mostly ate in restaurants with Italian cuisine: salads, pasta, risotto, seafood - everything is quite edible, although sometimes too peppery. But this is Korea, so you can understand.
Now about renting a car (for those who are interested). You can rent in advance, but you need a card (not the World, of course). We rented it immediately upon arrival at the airport.
There is a risk that there will not be a model that you like, but there is a choice. The cars are new. We used the Tamra company. The prices are affordable.
The roads are gorgeous. Marking, navigation at altitude.
Very beautiful landscapes.
Now about the island itself. It's not very big. We traveled it from north to south and from west to east.
We were convinced that the northern part is the most convenient for recreation (there are many beaches and beautiful hotels). There is a volcano in the center and it often rains there - therefore, if you look at the forecast, it is mostly rainy. But it's sunny on the shores. The island is not rich in cool sights, but it has its own face and its own folklore. There is a lot to see, but mostly it's nature (parks, gardens, waterfalls) - everything is very beautiful.
You can definitely come here once. You won't regret it.
