We were at a tasting of 12 wines in this place. I won't talk about the taste of wines - it's individual. The only thing I liked about this place was that we met other tourists there and had a lot of laughs and a chat. The rest is a bunch of questions. The owner of the establishment uses ways to praise at the expense of humiliating other places. You know, when they baselessly scold others, although they themselves have not yet proved that they are worth something. The owner uses the phrases "In the place where you were in general, horror" /, "yes, you are the first to like it there", "yes, it's not wine at all, but urine" and others when it came to other tasting rooms, for example in Samarkand or restaurants in Bukhara, where he himself does not go. Interestingly, the head of the institution knows little about wines, apart from the names of the grape variety, he did not tell anything. It's worth noting that he makes really delicious bacon, but we remember that we went there to taste WINE) the bacon he served is exotic, isn't it?) moreover, he claims that he does NOT drink alcohol) Question: how can a person who has not tried wine himself talk about them? In short, this place is super touristy, they earn money due to their interest in "what is Uzbek wine?", but not due to the fact that they themselves are well done. I won't recommend it. And for real connoisseurs, and for those who have been to normal wine tastings, I wish not to go there at all, so as not to spoil the impression of this wonderful "wine tasting" ritual. I forgot to add about the sexualized jokes from the host. It 's totally rubbish 😅

The place is wonderful, the owner Sanjar is well, very sincere and just a storehouse of interesting information in all areas! Also, his excellent sense of humor combined with a huge selection of intoxicating sets - from wines to cognacs - is the key to a full acquaintance with ancient Bukhara. P.S. But our biggest surprise was ...vodka and lard When I hinted that I did not like cognac, and I used to prefer vodka from strong ones, they immediately asked me if I knew the smell of vodka? Of course, I replied that I would know right away! They presented me with a glass of vodka and... you won't believe it, but it was odorless at all, and when I drank it in one gulp, I didn't even wince and didn't need to drink it🤷♀️ The "Tear of God"! is made by a small party, almost secret, and some oligarch buys it almost all☝️ And they brought me lard with vodka! And we can safely say that many connoisseurs will envy such a salad! And there is also a healing balm on Avicene herbs, which is known even in Europe! So we highly recommend this place — Omar Khayyam Corner. Not far from the monument to Khoja Nasreddin. You won't regret it!

The host and his assistant are charming, hospitable and chatty! They treat you to everything, as befits a tavern. It is quite suitable for tasting and exploring the local poor assortment, but you can buy the same in neighboring markets for a more modest price)
