Cafe "Corner" is a cozy place that is really worth a visit, especially if you like well—cooked meat. One of the central dishes for which this cafe is appreciated is chicken tabaka.
The tobacco chicken turns out amazing here! The meat is incredibly juicy, and the crust is golden and crispy. It is prepared with a sincere approach, and it is felt from the first bite. The unique marinade gives the chicken a delicious taste, and the cooking secrets make it really special.
The staff is always polite and helpful, which makes your stay even more enjoyable.
The Corner is a wonderful choice for gourmets, and I recommend everyone to visit this place, especially for the sake of the famous tobacco chicken!
If you want to plunge into the era and atmosphere of the good old delicious traditions, then you definitely go there! Tobacco chickens are simply delicious!!! The staff is polite and tidy! Everything is clean and pleasant. There are 2 floors, on the ground floor there is a large hall with tables. The service is on the level. There is a private parking lot. The location is the city center, there are a lot of local attractions around (a square, museums, recreation parks and just walking areas).
We were in the restaurant, on the second floor. There is a cafe with the same name on the ground floor. The restaurant is like teleportation to the USSR :)) The atmosphere is exactly like that! The service is very fast and friendly. The main dish is tobacco chicken. There is alcohol, a little different, but mostly strong drinks. We drank tea with lemon :)) 2 servings of chicken, salad, appetizer, bread, tea, lemon - for all 220. Everything is delicious! There is music, local people come to celebrate some kind of holiday, so it can be noisy. The price-quality ratio is 5
The corner is a gorgeous place. And the tama tobacco clings are super fried, the chefs are great. A memory of my childhood and youth. We were barely in the tobacco corner when we were students. And now the taste is the same. Thank them for saving such a beautiful place. After all, they are passed down there from generation to generation of relatives. Grandfather. My son. Son to grandchildren . they keep the standard, well done in their taste...
My friend, a native of Tashkent, brought me to the cafe.. She remembers this cafe from childhood, when she came here with her parents. There has been a cafe in this place for 60 years now, and all my friends who either lived in Tashkent or came to this city fondly recall the cafe, Corner,. The most delicious tobacco chickens were served here. Of course, the cafe has changed over the years. There is a cafe on the ground floor, and a restaurant with the same name on the second floor. We went into a cafe. It's simple and without frills, but the fried chicken was great: toasty, juicy, and flavorful. The cafe is clean and cozy. The audience is different: students, tourists, locals. Upstairs, in the restaurant, there's a bigger selection of dishes, but we were going to have chicken., ,
A great place on the second floor. The cafe corner on the ground floor is a diner, but everything is high-quality here. A beautifully crafted menu. You should especially try the salad in Tbilisi, by the way, you can also order chicken here and eat in a civilized setting. It turns out that there is a separate room, it is very convenient to gather with friends to sit comfortably.
The most famous, popular and favorite place in Tashkent.
Despite the constant queue, the service is fast and attentive.
Tobacco chickens are delicious, juicy and crispy! Served with tomato sauce!
Previously, there were tortillas, now only bread (an ordinary loaf).
Everyone who once lived in Tashkent comes, and, of course, comes to the Corner))
A masterpiece and a Legend of Tashkent! The most delicious chicken of tobacco - at its best , white bread as from childhood , atmosphere , atmosphere , people , music ! Just 10 points , especially if you come to visit your native Tashkent ! Nostalgia and yummy !
An incredible, wonderful, delicious and traditional main dish (chicken/chicken) for this place. It is necessary to try, eat again and come here again and again. Of course, with the signature tomato sauce. It's a great place and has had a unique taste since Soviet times. I definitely recommend everyone to visit!!!
Very tasty tobacco chickens. Fast service. Clean, neat. The prices are small. And most importantly, the music of the 80s. Very incendiary. The visitors dance with pleasure.
We came here for lunch with our family, despite the controversial reviews. It seems like an institution with a history and specialization in cooking tobacco chicken (as they say).
The interior is a classic Soviet restaurant, quite spacious.
Everything was fine and the chicken was really delicious.
However, it was overshadowed by one event - they forgot to cook one dish. And at the beginning, he officially memorized our small order. When everything was already eaten, and the dishes (chicken with vegetables) had not appeared, we tried to find out from the waiter what was wrong with it. At the same time, I said that if she was not there in 5 minutes, we would refuse. I told the hostess the same thing a few minutes later, but we definitely weren't taking it and asked for the bill. After another 10 minutes, we were still waiting for the bill, when I went to the counter with my feet to the bar (because the waiters and the host simply did not come out into the hall), it turned out that they were still cooking chicken.
In general, I don't know why it was necessary to do this, but they only spoiled the attitude even worse.
I'm putting a 4 in the hope that this was a special case and not a standard restaurant situation.
If you are in Tashkent and do not visit this place, then you will be terribly sorry later. This cafe has been open since the second half of the twentieth century and specializes in cockroach chickens. And although it has been rebuilt and refreshed many times, only here you can feel the native Soviet atmosphere of catering. It is a very endemic place. Families come here. There is a smoking and non-smoking room. There's even a restaurant upstairs-but that's not the same anymore. It's always crowded, noisy, and drunk downstairs. Sit down at an empty table (you may have to wait) and a not young, but very sincere waitress will fly to you. order whole chicken, fresh salad, salted and vodka! And in a few minutes you will immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the 70s-the polyphony of local speech and delicious food. Everything is brought on metal trays. Vodka can be bottled in faceted glasses. They count on a piece of paper. In general, a thrill for fans of the Soviet era and Uzbek flavor.
The restaurant is old, I read the reviews myself before going, but they wrote everywhere about good cuisine, I confirm. The portions are large, there is a lot of meat in soups, I took Tashkent salad, everything is tender and a lot, a huge portion of jelly, and of course the branded chicken. The cuisine really resembles the Soviet one, but it is delicious, not greasy. The restaurant's interior is a bit old, but clean and cozy in its own way. The waitress worked well, the dishes were served quickly, a nice bonus in the form of a glass with sauce for the chicken. If you just want to have a delicious and satisfying meal, without complaints about the interior, you are here.
Oooh, the restaurant of our very young time!!!! The kitchen has been transformed visually and beyond praise, it is very beautiful and delicious on the second floor. The service is excellent, the staff is very attentive and polite.I definitely recommend it!!!! Especially for the guests of the city!!! Tobacco chickens are excellent
Corner-2, I would call a squash...They used to be gulvanized there in their youth...music, hanging out, staying up late, alcohol....It's on the 2nd floor, now it's civil, not bad and delicious, it's also alcoholic, clean, served reverently / restrainedly, with a fleeting smile sometimes ...)))In short, you can visit....But on the first floor.....the trail.the post)))
A very pleasant place in the city center. Although the menu does not shine with a super variety of dishes (personally, I would like to see a larger selection of dishes of national cuisine), but everything is very tasty. The staff is very kind and efficient, although the young people had some problems understanding the nuances of the Russian language, but the older comrades "sorted everything out" almost instantly.
The price tag, by local standards, is not small, but by Moscow standards it is more than humane.
In general, I can recommend this institution with a clear conscience.
We were there again recently, everything is also delicious, but smoky, there are no places, the waiters are serious and tired, but delicious! Since there were no places, we took them with us and ate at home! Delicious!
This place is somewhat reminiscent of the Soviet Union, canteens, furnishings, service, even slicing bread :) but definitely delicious! We took a kilogram, and Amirchik and I had enough for a couple of days :)
It's always delicious, it's always crowded, this delicious taste has been preserved since childhood, they made repairs, which is very pleasing, we prefer to sit on the 2nd floor as a family.
An ancient (legendary) place from Soviet times
There's a cafe downstairs (cakes are also from the Soviet Union)
There is a restaurant on the second floor
The famous sauce for tobacco chickens has remained the same
This is one of the advantages
The staff was pleasant
The rest, alas
The chicken has gone bad
It's not very tasty
Salad Tashkent is just bad
Some of the dishes from the menu are not
It's stoned
I really liked the cool place. I advise you to visit it. I recommend it deliciously. You won't regret it. The prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is pleasant. A class, that's all. Thanks
A legendary place, great food and a cozy atmosphere. A classic place in Tashkent. Parking is difficult, but there is an Amir Timur metro station nearby.
Excellent historical cafe. Tobacco chicken is cooked deliciously. A cozy atmosphere. Just coming to a cafe, it drains away that I got into childhood. Respect
