Here Uddhava resides in the form of dust.
We come here to honor this place, take a few drops of water on our heads, remember Uddhava's amazing feelings of devotion, and pray that we too may find this aspiration to dedicate our lives to the service of the Lord.
Before leaving this world, Krishna instructed Uddhava, "No one in this world is as dear to Me as you, Uddhava."
Uddhava asked for shelter here, in this place, he said: "I would like to be born as a blade of grass in the place where gopis gather flowers to worship the Divine Couple — Radha kunda, Shyama kunda, so that I can always take the dust from the feet of these gopis on my head." And Krishna gave him such a position here on the banks of Uddhava-kunda.
Gaura Kishore das Babaji's pushpa samadhi is located here.
