Terrible place, inadequate age owner... disgusting!And someone likes it, some have been traveling and settling with this Konstantin for several years.One adequate woman is Marina, only she handled all the excesses associated with the very beginning of the settlement (the agreement was for one room, upon arrival it turned out to be occupied by other people…There were no cleaning supplies in the room, the electric kettle was taped and the request to replace it was refused (it was said that the previous vacationers had broken it...)The owner of these " apartments " is very fond of using obscene language, especially when talking to women.A very strange type.Even when we left, he started a scandal.And in the Gagra itself, as the devastation was 20 years ago, nothing has changed. So, I don't set foot in this sunny country anymore, although I've been there several times

We lived in the room for a week and ate every breakfast, lunch and dinner here.
As for the room: refrigerator, air conditioning, TV, shower, kettle, everything is there. The sea is through the balcony, which is the most important advantage.
As for the cuisine: everything is insanely delicious, a huge selection, each dish is prepared individually, there is not a single position that we would not like
I would like to mention the hosts and staff separately. They are wonderful sincere people, very hospitable, they will help and prompt you in any situation.
Next vacation, just come here!

Pasta with shrimp - overcooked pasta with salad thawed shrimp, ear tasteless, but overall OK, respect for the amount of fish. Squid salad is a nightmare, there are some non-chewing fibers in the squid, so the complete feeling that you pull the threads out of your mouth still twitches.
The view is certainly gorgeous and the waitress is polite, for which the star is, but this still does not outweigh the main disadvantage in terms of food.

The place is beautiful, the houses are cozy, but the cleaning of the premises is at a low level.We settled in and started cleaning, refrigerators,microwaves,dishwasher, everything is dirty, sticky, dust on the finger in the lockers for clothes and the cleaning of the room wants to be better.We should pay attention to this, then the rest was many times more pleasant.

A wonderful lovely place with a view of the sea. We went to lunch with a friend, we were passing through in December. We were pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome of the hosts and the prices. Khinkali is awesome, sooo delicious, the wine is the best on the coast, and the coffee is just fantastic!!! Everything went so far that we repeated the order! Despite the modest interior of this cafe, I want to return to this glorious place by the sea more than once!!!!

We stopped at a cafe by the sea, we confirm the negative impressions of other visitors about the owner of the cafe, Konstantin, an inadequate man of 80 years old - with his attitude to people, he shames his country and the hospitable people of Abkhazia. The cafe prices are too high, the food is not tasty, they cheat. In addition, he rents rooms and deceives visitors, takes money in advance and throws it out of the paid cost for a day, demands an additional payment or evicts. Be careful. I do not recommend renting a house from this person and going to his cafe.

We stopped on the way home from Pitsunda to "wet our feet" on the track. Good homemade coffee, okroshka, it is exactly according to the local recipe (and there are a lot of okroshka recipes), but still refreshing. The main thing is the sea view, just a pleasure!!!

We had a rest this summer in Staraya Gagra, and our guest house was next to the cafe "By the Sea", we only went here for lunch, delicious dishes, and prices are not high, we liked the service. The cafe is located right by the sea, you sit and eat food, and enjoy the views of the sea, well, beauty. I recommend this cafe.

The grandmother served, at first glance sweet, but in fact she did a dirty trick with invoicing. We ordered a salad, gave just tomatoes and peppers without dressing, warning that there were no cucumbers. Khachapuri was not delicious, because there was another cheese, not suluguni. The khinkali was sharp. It's sad when the food is not delicious and at the same time they bill you like in a restaurant. I don't recommend it.

The kids ate delicious noodle soup 150p, shish kebab soft) amazing Greek salad 270p, the best chop, orange juice with zest 50p glass, it tastes like alcoholic), meat according to Abkhazian 350p - not that... It's very fatty, but it's served differently everywhere... I did not like French fries, one child did not eat, the second ate) it looks like boiled - very soft and greasy . The waiter is very nice) the view from the veranda is beautiful to the sea) I advise you) there are excellent breakfasts on the menu) 10% charge for service.

Honestly, my family and I did not eat at this cafe, But I will remember it for the rest of my life!!!
My family and I were on the beach next to this institution and parked the car. There was a car on the lawn too. By the way, it is very improperly parked, but if it is so pochtavili, then the person probably works there and does not plan to leave in the near future. In general, having bought enough, we return to the car, and there a man of respectable age (an Abkhazian) attacks us. How ugly he behaved, and even considering that he looks about 80 years old! All kinds of Russian mat poured out on me and my child! God, it's a shame! Yelling means the old man yelled , all the obscene words that he knows , in the end he began to intimidate the grandchildren who would beat us! In general, there is no point in explaining why I do not recommend this cafe!

However, it turned out that way. Very long service, the staff is kind of uninitiative.
We ordered potatoes in a rustic way, brought fries, it's okay, it costs the same.
The vats were cold, re-warmed, and turned out to be very salty. They said that the cook fell in love)
The paste is 3.5 out of 5.
Khachapuri is royally good, too big for the 4th.
The most delicious turned out to be a roast, we recommend it!

We were at this place today. We wanted to eat Abkhazian shish kebab and pasta with shrimp. As a result, we were served pasta with chicken (it was very terrible, the cheese was sour and hard, spaghetti in the form of noodles with sour tomatoes-as if the leftovers had been scraped out of the pots) . And shish kebab is hard fried meat in a frying pan, there is not even a smell of smoke. And the weight is less than it should be. They charged 10% for the service, although there was no service as such ... the dishes were waited for a very long time. The most delicious was Sukhumi tangerine lemonade for 100 rubles.

It probably all depends on the cook. We were at this cafe in June 2022. The waiter girl is wonderful and sincere. Only this at least somehow saved the situation. The food is terrible! It's not tasty! It is not edible in places.
I rarely write reviews. But now I couldn't resist. Since we (a family of 4 people) left a lot of money there. But there is no pleasure. The youngest child did not eat at all with the words: pasta smells like something!
In general, I would not recommend it this season. We never went back there. And there were places where we ate cheaper and much tastier.
Perhaps if the cook is different (or the approach to cooking is different (since my spouse had not quite fresh vegetables in the soup), then maybe the situation will be better.
