08/15.24. we stopped for lunch at this place on the advice of local comrades.
Fried trout is very tasty.
Pork kebab is soft and juicy.
The wait was short, while we tasted mineral water from the spring, admired nature, and were called for food.
The price is lower than in cafes on the embankments.
I didn't notice anything bad from what is described below in the comments ...
Order a honey cake in the mountains?! This is nonsense! this is not a "chocolate bar" ... ;)
There would be an opportunity to put 0 stars. I would definitely put it on.
Of the cons:
- The cafe has a very high price tag
- Cold food is served
- They shout from the delivery window and confuse orders
- I ordered a shawarma, onions were served in a huge amount of pita bread. Meat was missing from the word altogether. Unwrapping the shawarma, I found 4-5 chicken fibers. In less than 1 piece of shish kebab.
- the rest of the dishes were not delicious, no one really finished anything
Of the advantages:
- not bad pies (although they gave it in a dirty napkin lying on the cashier's table)
- delicious tea
If it were possible to put 0!!!! Stars, I would put
RUN AWAY FROM THIS PLACE IF YOU WERE BROUGHT WITH AN EXCURSION, OR YOU STOPPED BY WITH YOUR FAMILY. it doesn't matter.
In August, we went on a jeep tour, the driver took us to this "institution"
Let's start with the fact that everything will start with a PREPAYMENT! Where did you see the prepayment in the cafe???? An aunt sits down and writes an order on a yellow leaf. Money in advance (this is obviously so that if something could not be presented and no one will return the money to you)))
What do you think? I'M POISONED! All the way back, I was vomiting from all sides (our poor fellow travelers who were traveling with us) had to wait every 20 minutes
The whole next day of vacation- I lay with a temperature of 39, vomiting and shit) and the following days - there was disgust from all the Abkhazian food. Thank you.
I was here in 2021, I'm really on the edge of civilization, you don't expect to see a cafe in the mountains. I took a hodgepodge in Abkhazian, it's great, even though it cost about 300 rubles then. You should not expect any kind of service from this place, it's not even Abkhazia, but just mountains where cattle are grazed and multi-day hikes go. And just returning from a hike, of course we returned here to eat solyanka. It's really the most delicious thing I've eaten in Abkhazia.
A terrible cafe ... everyone is touching with their bare hands, swearing and generally dissatisfied women, an unacceptable feeling from them.
The food is cold and not tasty. My advice is not to stop there to eat

At first we thought we were just unlucky, but judging by previous reviews, this is a really terrible place. We were in the middle of August, we took a barbecue. The meat is tough as a boot and also completely tasteless (half of the tour group assumed that the meat was dog meat). The places around are amazing, you definitely need to go, but do not take food in this eatery in any case!
A small coffee next to the road to the mountains, you can stop and drink water from a mineral spring (filled in a bottle, opened it half an hour later - carbonated!) We had a cup of coffee in a picturesque corner and headed further up.
A disgusting eatery with a cosmic price for such a place. Turkey khachapur is just pita bread with butter and cheese. It's not tasty, it's greasy, orders are confused, the waitress brazenly sits down with you, as if they didn't come to eat, but to visit a friend. Prepayment. Oh yes, there is no menu anywhere, the cashier was not interested in this fact, she sent them to search the tables, although they are not there. The toilet is so terrible that it's better not to try. Avoid it by any means.
First, they yelled at us that they would choose for a long time, then they brought me a honey cake with mold (I noticed when I was almost finished), and they also brought a barbecue, it was raw, and they said about the cake that we were in the mountains and even bread with mold was eaten here...
The place is beautiful, but I do not advise you to eat there, the staff is just terrible, you show them that there is mold on the cake, they started yelling to prove that it is just terrible for the air after that they kicked us out for our money
The shawarma was very tasty and wrapped in crispy pita bread.
The khachapur cheese, consisting of cheese and pita bread, was 1/4 part too raw.

"Kharcho" with pork, the woman behind the counter coughs at your food without covering her mouth, tea - a cup of slop for 150 rubles, rudeness.
A "tourist" place where you will get hungry during a trip to the mountains, and you will eat tasteless and expensive, under the hostile views of the locals and also ON PREPAYMENT.
For Esa-khachapur (in lavash) +1 star.
Otherwise a dubious place. It feels like you've come to visit relatives, but they're not your relatives)
There are problems with light in the mountains, it is given from 20 to 24, so the meat does not lie there for a long time. If you're lucky, you'll have a delicious meal, and if not, you'll be like me — puking and sleeping with a temperature of 39 all the next day of vacation.
It's expensive, but you can have a snack. But for the sake of the natural mineral water that flows out next to the cafe, it's worth getting there. We drove a VW polo and didn't get hooked anywhere.
