This is a legendary and old restaurant that has been completely renovated recently. This place offers amazing food, an amazing atmosphere, and great service.
This place is like coming home, where you feel cozy and comfortable, and the whole staff in here is super nice.
Many influential people visit this place because of its uniqueness and delicious food.
Parking is a bit of an issue, but the street parking is there and free. The best hours to visit this place is after working hours because the street gets empty after that time.

But don't worry, for those who appreciate a secluded environment, there is a cozy study where you can enjoy a meal in silence. The restaurant enjoys well-deserved popularity, therefore, so that nothing overshadows your journey into the world of Armenian cuisine, it is better to take care of booking a table in advance.
Expensive, but delicious! Don't order too many dishes. Limit yourself to one hot or fragrant soup. What strikes and delights me most about Armenian cuisine is the dogwood compote, which is the perfect end to a meal.

Despite the fact that, in fact, these are 5 tables in a room called a home hall, it's uncomfortable for me. They served an absolutely tasteless sweet drink as a gift under the guise of wine, but it doesn't look anything like wine. Soup with homemade chicken - half a plate for 2500 drams, a thin piece of roast beef - 5000 drams ... well, this may be normal for inexperienced tourists, but I would not recommend it.

We had the displeasure to visit this small family establishment twice. Maybe the food is good, the place was recommended by an Armenian friend from Rostov. But we haven't tried the kitchen yet.
We went there for the first time in the evening at the beginning of the tenth.
Judging by the expressions on the waiters' faces, we were not very welcome at the entrance, but they offered us a seat. They brought the menu and immediately said we don't have a barbecue, if you need it, then you're not here. We puked on the grill and didn't plan to, so we continued to choose dishes. After 5 minutes, the waiter came over and said that they would close in 40 minutes and would hardly have time to cook for us, or we would have to eat very quickly. That's why we'd better leave and come back tomorrow afternoon.
We were surprised and went to the exit, at that time 6 local guests came inside and the table was set for them.
We arrived the next day in the afternoon. The owner met us and immediately informed us at the entrance that their gas stove was broken. But he allowed me to take the table. There was a feast in a separate enclosed room, served by a loud group of local guys.
They put a decanter of vodka on the table as a compliment (we don't drink vodka), but they weren't in a hurry to take the order.
Realizing that we weren't welcome here, we got ready to leave.
To which the cleaning lady (as it turned out, it was the owner's wife) told us in the back that respectable people come here, and if we are poor, then we do not need to go to the restaurant, but to the dining room)))

A great restaurant that welcomed and saw us off on our Yerevan vacation. We haven't found anything better all week. Very hospitable. Delicious homemade wine. The divine kufta. The kitchen is excellent. The owner asked us every 10 minutes if we liked everything.

The hospitality is at the highest level. The waiter, after a couple of phrases, now recommended dishes that suited us perfectly. The dishes are very tasty, the atmosphere is inviting, the owner of the restaurant himself met and inquired about our opinion. Tamla and desserts are the most memorable. The prices are reasonable. The history of the restaurant is amazing, there are photos of the owner with celebrities from all over the world on the walls. As we understand it, this restaurant arranges dinners for the first persons of the states. A must-visit!

Delicious tea. The food is average. As for the atmosphere, I prefer privacy, but here the owner of the restaurant is sitting in the hall just like the owner, looking at the guests in a masterly way, not at the waiters. We were well served, but I was not very comfortable there psychologically.

Delicious, hospitable, very atmospheric. Not everything we ate and drank was included in the bill. The portions are large.
A special mention is the seasonal dolma, based on the principle of stuffed peppers and cabbage rolls. Only the cabbage is thin, thin.
When we came for the 2nd time, all the tables were occupied. Although the owners honestly offered to disassemble a small table for us, which played an exhibition role.

A lovely cozy family home...not a restaurant, a table. We came in when the owner was resting, word for word, men (I can't name waiters!), we were interviewed, made an exact cut of wishes, and after 5 minutes appeared: a collection of cheeses, any greens, fresh simple vegetables, excellent stewed eggplant-pepper-onion salad, bread basket. The owner rolled out a decanter of apricot and homemade wine without asking. After about 15 minutes, the most tender lamb dolma collapsed, divinely stuffed peppers, satsebeli sauces, homemade matsoni. Veal with capsicum and steamed egg was expected to be excessive. A mega authentic place for those who are tired of barbecue.

The coolest place! Delicious, fast, reasonable prices. When we came as a family, we were offered a separate office with air conditioning. After the hot street, it was divine. And they also brought us a decanter of homemade wine as a compliment from the chef. I really liked it.

As time passes, I remember dinner with pleasure. The locals recommend it. It's cozy and not crowded. Dinner for five turned out to be cheaper than in other establishments in Yerevan. We came here on the recommendation of a partner. Sooo delicious! Yes, the home environment, yes, the menu is in stickers. But, the initial quality of the products is good and cooked with soul! The host himself is always on site and is happy to welcome guests. The waiters are amazing, attentive and helpful. People commenting with a negative assessment are clearly those who like lavender raf because it is fashionable. You cannot experience the real Yerevan without visiting this authentic place)

We had dinner at this amazing restaurant. While they were choosing what to order, they brought two glasses of wine and juice to the child. After ordering, they also brought three boiled colored eggs (it was Easter) and lavash as a gift. The food is delicious, the waiters are polite, the interior is like in a palace. But most importantly, there was a friendly host. He talked to the visitors and to us too. Everyone who is nearby is there urgently.

I'll be the first. The restaurant has just been renovated. The restaurant is famous and well-deserved. Unfortunately, the opening hours are incorrectly indicated on Yandex maps. I am sure that if you fix it, it will be sold out soon. We will sell out because the food is incredibly delicious and the service is excellent. We have tried many restaurants and cafes in Yerevan. This is by far the best. We highly recommend it. And we especially recommend apricot and mulberry vodka. This is certainly not vodka, but an honest delicious distillate. I highly recommend it and wish you a pleasant appetite.

A small cafe in the city center with a classic set of Armenian dishes. Everyone tastes different, I didn't like it: a lot of salt, small portions, quite expensive. No card can be used to pay. There are few tables, there is no summer veranda. There are scary stuffed animals and birds inside. I wouldn't go a second time.

It's a disgusting place. It's a canteen that hides behind the decorations. Paintings on the walls, tablecloths, glasses, appliances...
The food is very bad. The most expensive salad was cooked for 3 minutes and in fact it turned out to be eggplant caviar. A piece of beef is completely tasteless.
I visited the institution after seeing a high rating (4.2 at the time of writing the review). In the area of 100 meters there are establishments with the same rating, but much more delicious food in the same price category.
I didn't want to write a review, but after the phrase "brother, the terminal is not working well today, you can use rubles", I realized that a review was needed.
Avoid it.

We were very strongly recommended to visit this place. When we arrived, we were the only visitors, although it was a weekend evening, which was a little confusing. BUT: The food is insanely delicious - homemade, cooked according to traditions and with a soul. Fashionable places in the city center rest on the quality of the dishes, although at first glance the place may scare away.
