My wife and I came to exchange dollars for tenge. There are two windows. We had a fairly large amount and we decided to go not from the crowded side but through the window, which is covered with a curtain. The woman was on the phone and with a dissatisfied look asked, after all, to go to the window where there are a lot of passers-by. It was necessary to change dollars (several thousand), to which the woman replied that they could not give such an amount to citizens of the Russian Federation even with a passport, they could only give citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan. To the question "how much can they do", she replied "I don't know, it's not enough." An interesting answer from a specialist… To our clarification, she replied, "well, $ 1000." All our communication, the man was unhappy… It's an unpleasant place, but we've wasted our time. I recommend avoiding it. By the way, in other exchangers there were no problems with the fact that we are citizens of the Russian Federation.
