The base is very good. The organization is at the highest level! Everything is clean and well maintained. Full board: delicious homemade food! A large swimming pool, daily room cleaning, a cafe bar on site - well, just fire!!! We were satisfied. There are a number of disadvantages, but it has practically nothing to do with the database: to the sea is a 15-minute walk in places in the sun and shade. It's a little heavy. There are a lot of dogs and cats on the territory that are not kicked out, they are their own))) but they sometimes smell unpleasant, itch and stick their noses in when you rest. At 7 a.m., a garbage truck arrives and collects garbage behind the cottages very loudly and wakes them up accordingly. The cafe on the territory is loudly open until 23.00, so if you came with the idea of going to bed early - there are no options here, you will have to endure, perhaps you can hear it quieter in the main building, but for houses it is right on the contrary, you can't go anywhere. Another advantage is the store and pharmacy almost in the yard. There are many retail outlets on the way to the sea. The beach is average, but it will go. In general, I advise you! Overall, the hotel is very nice and suitable for families with children. The territory is beautiful, well-groomed, clean everywhere. The dining room is good, the menu is homemade, different every day. There was enough food, we didn't buy anything extra for the whole vacation. The rooms are clean. Many thanks to the staff in the dining room and the maids for everything.
But there are 2 big drawbacks that influenced my assessment:
1. THE BAR. It is located in a residential area. The music is playing very loudly until 23 o'clock. But there are gatherings later, and the music can be turned off after 24 hours. moreover, the staff can also participate in this, and if noisy tourists also come, then loud conversations with songs and screams can last until the morning. The administration does not oppose this in any way.
2. DOGS. There are several of them, they run where they want and bark as they want. Especially at night
We wanted a quiet holiday, but unfortunately it didn't work out!

Many thanks to all the staff of the Citrus Hotel for their hospitality!
The very polite and caring staff, led by the administrator Svetlana, made our vacation unforgettable!
No matter what anyone said about "noise" and "dirt", we didn't notice it. If this was ever the case, then the hotel staff apparently reads reviews and works on "mistakes".
I won't say anything about the room, because I'm comfortable in the tent. But in general terms, there was a hot shower for all 9 nights that we were there. Towels were changed almost every day, as well as toilet paper (they did not have time to get dirty).
I will note that the silence in the evening and the cleanness in the pool are monitored quite strictly here.
Food. It certainly tastes and colors, but we were delighted with the menu. Simple and even "ascetic" dishes in some ways were very much to my taste. We had enough to eat and at the same time move quite actively (we don't like to sit for a long time).
Cats and dogs. I think this is the general specificity of Abkhazia, there are many of them, there are many everywhere. In many cafes, there will be at least a couple of cats. Since we love animals very much, it didn't almost bother us. On the contrary, they gave the vacation an additional plus sign.
Sea. It's not that far away here, 10-15 minutes on foot. The beach is clean and spacious (although after a winter storm, it was hit). The sea is also clean, but it seems to be the coldest in all of Abkhazia (here the flowing mountain river makes itself felt).
To summarize. We were going to take a break from the hustle and bustle. They wanted the sea and clean air. We got all this here in abundance and were very satisfied!

We were here from 04.10.24 to 11.10.24 I really liked it - everything is great.
After reading negative reviews in terms of food and cleanliness. We were a little upset.
But upon arrival at the hotel, all our doubts were dispelled. The food is varied, there is no huge assortment, but there was always a choice. The chefs cook very tasty! They are especially attentive to children. Thanks a lot to them for this! We were in the cabins, cleaning every day. Sometimes they didn't even let me in, they talked so cleanly. Changing towels is the same, once again they were changed without problems.
The staff is friendly, of course, if you are not rude. There were also those who lived here who found a reason to swear. In general, I liked everything quietly, calmly, in the bulk of the family with children.
The heated pool is very convenient, as it was out of season.

We had a rest in the middle of June 2023, lived in a cabin, and cleaned the pool every morning before breakfast. And if someone says that it is not cleaned, then it is not true. Maybe they just haven't seen it. Yes, there were vacationers in the hotel who are in "0", but what do they have to do with the living conditions? It didn't bother us at all. And the cabin was almost opposite the bar. Sometimes the music would turn on loudly, but at 22 o'clock it was always quiet. The food in the dining room is peculiar, we are not used to their spices. But you're in another country, so take what they give you. We weren't hungry, even the child was intercepting something there. After all, it's not a 5* somewhere in Turkey. As for the administrator Svetlana, we had no conflicts. We arrived early, around 7 a.m., and we were already checked in at 8 a.m., thanks a lot for that, because driving more than 1500 km is such a pleasure. She came up to us several times and asked if everything was all right. Is everything okay?
By the way, the house was cleaned every day, swept and the floors were washed.
We went on excursions on our own, by car.
Someone writes that it's a long way to the beach. When you booked a hotel, weren't you interested in the distance?
It's a 10-minute walk to the beach, along a shady alley with some incredible tropical trees. You go and look at everything around you. And the way the magnolia blooms, it's beautiful.
The sea was still cold in June, but everyone was already swimming anyway.
In general, for the money that you pay, it's fine.
By the way, in August 2024, we decided to go to Gagra, had a vacation in Europe, and the whole family caught rotovirus on the second day. My son said that he liked citrus more.

We stayed at the hotel in October 2024. I want to say a huge thank you to Svetlana! To the chefs! The food is homemade. The girls in the dining room are friendly! We're girls, we've had enough! The men were a little hungry (The bar didn't bother them in the evenings! They settled in the building on the first night. But we really wanted to go to the house and in the morning Svetlana overpowered us into the house without much conversation! No extra charges! We were very pleased) The pool is pleasantly illuminated in the evenings. The territory is well maintained and clean. Yes, there are a lot of cats and dogs on the territory. Dogs were sometimes thrown up (The village itself is not big. Quiet. After Sochi and Adler, it seems like a village. But we were going to take a break from the hustle and bustle of cars. We went by bus to Gagra and Pitsunda. So after them you get off at your stop in the village and just such a buzz! No cars, no fuss! In the evenings, of course, you can't walk outside the hotel. There are practically no lanterns in the village (Svetlana gave us the driver's number. It was more profitable for us to go on excursions with him. We teamed up with married couples and drove 7 people everywhere calmly! I was very satisfied and would like to return there again. Nature is amazing!

It's a very nice hotel. We added a guest on the spot without prior approval. There is a swimming pool on site. We took a room with meals (3 meals a day) and didn't stay hungry. It's a bit far from the sea, of course, about 1 km, but you walk through a shady grove and apart from the last 50 meters you don't feel the heat. The territory is well maintained, the rooms too.

Based on the experience of holidays in Abkhazia for 5 years, we have visited many hotels and boarding houses and there is something to compare with. Yes, this one is in the village, yes it is not a Turkish Caesar, but we are going to rest on our budget!
A quiet place without crowds of tourists and merchants. The beach is 8 minutes away along a high shady alley. The beach is basically clean if you choose not the one at the Killer Whale pier. Garbage is removed almost every day.
But back to the hotel!
You are welcome! And it is very pleasant. Any adequate request is not taken with hostility! They always go to a meeting. The pool is a magnet for children. It is clean and well maintained, warm! You can always park on a chaise longue! The food is homemade, delicious and varied! There are always 2 dishes to choose from... I, the uncle, was 182 cm tall and 90 kg in weight)) I think it's a great place to relax with children! Will I come again, but if there is a chance!

We returned from vacation yesterday. We really liked it. The three of us lived in a house:the bed is clean, it was changed on the fourth day, which we were very surprised at. In a house:wardrobe, small refrigerator, TV, shower, sink, toilet. The territory is well maintained, the heated pool is illuminated, the kids are a great joy to enjoy the sun. The food is excellent, delicious, like at home, the portions are large, there was enough for everyone. There are several kinds of cookies for dinner. Apples, plums, tea-who needs how much. Honey, sour cream, mayonnaise, always. Quietly, calmly. There is a minus, but this is not a citrus wine-the road to the sea is dotted with tortillas. Thanks to the staff for their care, and to the chefs for the delicious food. There is a cafe, where you can have a nice time in the evening. There are flaws in the wooden houses: the hood in the toilet did not work and there was a problem with the TV (it did not show a day). We don't need him on vacation, but it's a matter of principle! This village itself is dead and the beach is not well maintained. A cold stream constantly flows from the Bzyb River into the sea. We drove our car to Pitsunda, where the sea is just fire!

You can take a dozen clothespins with you, because in a strong wind things can blow away. 10-15 minutes to the sea, a little longer with children. The sea is clean, the service is minimal, the price tag is horse for everything. It's good that the food was included, the food is no frills, but always fresh and delicious. There is a pharmacy and a store nearby, like 30 years ago, but you can buy water, cola, vodka, wine, but we didn't need anything else.

Clean rooms with a change of linen and towels. Full board, the food is delicious, but not varied enough for a long stay. There are a lot of children, but there is no music or animation. There are two pharmacies and two shops nearby. The beach is 15 minutes away with an easy walk, you can easily walk with children, part of the road is in the shadow of an alley. The double rooms are cramped, without a balcony, refrigerator and chairs, there is no table even in a room with improved conditions. Hair dryer and iron are shared. A shower and air conditioning are all you need to take a break from the hot sun. In the evening and at night it is quiet, only cows moo. There is no entertainment, but there is a bar with comfortable sofas. The trouble is with the Internet and the TV, the Internet is weak, the TV turns off every 15 minutes due to a weak signal.

I was vacationing with my children in citrus in July 2024.
1) The food is not bad, but for me there are few vegetables, meat and no brewed coffee.There was no fish either
2)There are a lot of dogs and cats on the territory that walk by themselves and relieve themselves near the pool (do something about it)
3) The room is more or less clean, but it smells terribly of sewage (I had to buy a toilet duckling and hang it), we washed only in slippers.
4)A lot of towels, change regularly, even have for the pool.
5) We lived in a house opposite the entrance to the pool, the bar is not particularly audible in the evenings
6) The sea is clean, the beach is huge, it takes 10 minutes to walk slowly.There are various shops with products on the way, but I didn't buy anything there, I bought water, fruits, ice cream, wine in the store immediately upon leaving the hotel behind a 5-storey building, there is also an excellent pharmacy.
7) we ONLY drank bottled water!!!!
8) There was no closet in the room, only a chest of drawers, the mattresses are very comfortable.There was not enough additional light (such as a floor lamp)

The room is on the ground floor. There is no refrigerator, there is no balcony. There is nowhere to dry towels after the beach. There's not even a towel hook in the bathroom. There are dryers on the street, but there are a lot of cats and dogs walking around the territory. Love for animals is great, but they look very untidy and flea-ridden. There are also cockroach animals in the room. Someone writes that towels are changed every day, I haven't had them changed in six days. It's quite a long way to the beach. Cows walk everywhere without restriction. Accordingly, traces of their vital activity and smells accompany you on the way to the beach. There are paid sun beds and umbrellas on the beach, one changing room, no showers. Dining room a la,, Soviet catering,, Yes, it doesn't taste bad, but you,, Citrus,, Where are the citruses? Cut a lemon for tea, lime, put honey, greens for lunch. You live in such a generous and fertile land. From vegetables, a couple of slices of tomato or two slices of cucumber for lunch, a salad for dinner, most often with mayonnaise.
The most thrash is the on-site bar. The silence mode is not observed. It's okay to have loud music after eleven o'clock at night. Alcohol is available around the clock, you can smoke throughout the hotel, which is also very strange. There are a lot of vacationers with young children and the elderly, but who cares if other drunk guests want to have fun. If a drunken redneck, after drinking local chacha, decides to swim in the pool at night with mats and or, the administration will not prevent this. The comfort of the other guests is probably not their concern. The heated pool, cleanliness is questionable. Someone had left their autographs on the dirt accumulated on the walls.

A chaise longue is 250 rubles per hour, an umbrella is 250 rubles per hour. There is no toilet or shower (not even a hose to wash your feet). Well, the dining room is trash! A very good place with a full board option at an adequate price. The territory is small, but very cozy: changing the linen in the rooms / taking out the garbage every day, the staff is polite, the administrator Svetlana quickly solves the problems that arise. Its own dining room with good food, not a very large selection, but you definitely won't stay hungry. The territory is clean, there is a heated swimming pool with lighting on the territory, which is cleaned every day. The only small disadvantage is the distance to the sea (about 10-15 minutes on foot). We lived there in June 2023 and hope to return again.

The only thing I didn't like was that the towels and linen were poorly washed. Or they don't wash anymore. It is not very pleasant to use towels with stains. There were 3 meals a day. The usual , like in the dining room. There is a swimming pool on site. The beach is a 10-15 minute walk away. It takes 13-15 minutes by car from the center of Pitsunda. Quiet and peaceful rest. If someone needs to be loud and with entertainment venues, restaurants, then you need to go at least to Gagra.

The rest turned out to be good, friendly staff, everything is clean, cozy, the pool is nice, warm, every morning, it is cleaned, it is not far to go to the sea, along the tennis alley, you can also safely drive by car to the sandy beaches, go to the Pitsund bay, everything is available, everything is good for food, at home, no frills, there was enough of everything, if suddenly something was missing somewhere, you could safely order at the bar, and everything would be ready, the food is truly wonderful.
The rooms are nice and spacious, we lived in the building, very good sound insulation, you can't hear what comes from the word in the other room at all, the rooms are cleaned daily.
The only thing that was missing was a toilet near the pool, because we lived in a building on the 3rd floor and it was a long way to run to the toilet every time

Nice family hotel. For 10 days of rest, we were well fed at home-there are no fruits and vegetables-only salads. That was enough for the children and us. The location of the hotel is also good-it takes 10 minutes to walk to the sea. The pool is clean-they take care of it daily. There was always a change of towels and room cleaning. The conder is working!keep in mind this is a village-it's full of cows, dogs and cats. There's nowhere to go in the evening. It's purely a family vacation. But the children on the territory play and relax on their own.

It wasn't a vacation, it was HELL!!! We arrived and were settled into an ordinary room. We spent the night and went to the sea in the morning. Having come from the sea, we are informed that we were mistakenly given the wrong number. They told us to move in and we went to another room with our things. When we entered the room, we were SHOCKED!!! The smell of damp and mildew immediately hit my nose. The walls are wet. The bed is damp, everything in the bathroom is rusty and there is water everywhere too. I went to the receptionist and asked to move us to drier conditions, to which she replied that there were no more rooms, as soon as any room was available, she would definitely move to another one. And they advised that it would not be so damp in the room to turn on the air conditioner for warm air! In general, my daughter and I were already very tired that day and agreed to spend the night. The next day, I approached the administrator with a request to relocate, because a lot of people had already left and rooms were vacant. To which she shouted back, saying wait two more days, I don't have any rooms available. I started to swear at her and explain that I would not live in such wet conditions. The administrator Svetlana stood her ground. As a result, the hostess came up to me and gave me another room, and as it turned out, all the staff there knows the problem of room 6, yes, the whole first floor is damp. Of course, they gave absolutely the same room, only there are no wet walls, but there is also a stink of dirty carpet, blankets instead of blankets are smelly, the bed is of course clean, and everything else is dirty and smelly. They even managed to put a 70x70 pillowcase on a 40x70 pillow. The curtains hang haphazardly and are also dirty. And when checking in, they said if you need room cleaning, then leave the keys at the reception and they will clean your room, I did not leave the keys, but they cleaned the room anyway, so they did not wipe the dirty window sill once. By the way, I had to carry things to the dryer on the second floor, there is no place to dry things in the room. And once I went to iron things and cauterized a white T-shirt with a dirty sole, went up to the staff and said I should clean the iron, but they say nothing, I tell them give me some gauze or a rag through which I could iron, but they say no. And by the way, the Internet catches only on the street near the dining room.
Again, I would have had a different attitude from the administrator if I had been a frequent guest in her bar, and since I was passing by and did not bring them profit through the bar, of course I was not a pleasant tenant, so the conditions were like that. Well, okay, this attitude is towards me, but what is it for the child?! Although Svetlana smiled at men and was very sociable and friendly with them. There are also comments about the food, for some reason cilantro was added to each dish. The child refused soups. And in the morning there were always milk porridges that my daughter doesn't eat either. I asked the staff to cook buckwheat or millet in water. At first, they agreed with a smile, but in the end, we have never seen such a cereal without milk. The child was also forbidden to take the supplement , although she ate almost nothing but pasta . Although half of the hotel did not have lunch or dinner, we were on excursions. Again, you can not go to the hotel with your own animals, and the fact that the hotel is full of flea-ridden cats and mangy dogs is normal. When I was there, three dogs ran barking at the girl. Then her parents couldn't calm her down for a long time. Again, about my raw room from which I was moved. Next, a woman moved in there and lived there the whole vacation without complaints. We were leaving together, I asked her if she liked the room and she says yes, I was not in it because I came to rest, she was just at "0" from morning to night. We gave it away perfectly, we got a cozy house, of course it requires reconstruction, but nothing, the main thing is that there is everything you need, a shower, a refrigerator, an air conditioner, there is a TV showing all channels, but it is not particularly needed. It takes 10 minutes to walk to the sea, along a picturesque path with the singing of the tsykads. The sea is clear, there are few people. There are animals on the territory (seals, dogs), they do not interfere with rest, many feed them, so they live there.The prices are fully uniform for accommodation with meals, there is a bar. We arrived late in the evening, we were late for dinner, we had to eat at the bar, the prices were a little too high.Very friendly staff, administrator Svetlana, will always help with any questions. The food in the dining room is very tasty, varied, the pool is cleaned every morning, the light is bright in the evening, in general everything is good, we will definitely come to you again.

We spent a wonderful week in early October 2023 with our family, including a child. Lovely hotel with friendly staff. The rooms are newly renovated, cleaning and linen change are carried out regularly. I won't say about the houses, we took the comfort room. But I think that everything is OK there too) Meals are served three times a day, a buffet is provided. The food is simple, but very tasty. I would like to thank Svetlana separately for her kindness and warm welcome! And I thank all the staff for the fact that our first trip was perfect!

Great hotel. We have already vacationed there twice. With a difference of 4 years. It is clear that the owners are trying to improve the service, make the rest more comfortable for people. The only thing that is not thought out a little is the organization of meals, or rather the queue for tea / coffee / compote, because of this, a queue is formed, right up to the exit from the dining room. You can stand in line for 20 minutes ... and I heard people in the queue saying that the tea area should be put separately... and then there would be no queue. But in general, everything is fine. Both the food and the sea are gorgeous, the rooms are clean, everything works.

The air conditioner is hanging for the interior, it drives hot air. The reaction to all requests is to come poke the buttons on the remote control and hopefully say that it should work now. The food, well, it is not possible to eat it, the cooking is simply disgusting, often everything is cold, the choice is meager (the only plus the child appreciated how tasty they feed him at home). About the administrator, with the promise to extend the departure time of people, dynamite says there are no empty seats (in fact, these places are there, they just don't want to bother. The road to the sea is 15 minutes, it is on the road, and not along the alley as some write. Accordingly, you walk in the dust from passing cars. The hotel is located in a small village with 2 small shops, 1 pharmacy and a couple of cafes.... That's it!!! The sea is of course the purest, there are no people from the word at all...

We had a family vacation with a child in the second half of September. I liked everything very much. Awesome air. Decent food: the first and second homemade, there were pastries and fruits. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to the sea, but you walk along a shady alley and time flies by unnoticed. On the beach, the sea air mixes with the pine air. The accommodation conditions at the hotel are good. The staff is polite, always ready to go to a meeting. In the evening, you can sit at the bar. No shortcomings have been identified.
