One of the few free cisterns in Istanbul. Yes, it is small (only 12 columns against 300 in the Basilica cistern), but it is very ancient. In March 2025, metal sculptures were on display there. For a general idea of what kind of structures these are, a visit to a small cistern is enough. We were lucky - there were no people, and we were able to look at everything calmly.

One of the few remaining free cisterns in Istanbul. It is small (17*12 m), but ancient (117-138 AD), it is very cool, dark and mysterious there. There are many modern metal sculptures inside. It is not known about the opening hours, they visited on Saturday morning

It is a very beautiful place, quiet and peaceful, dripping water and creating an even more peaceful effect. It's cool here in summer, but there are a lot of people.
