a lot of scams, especially on holidays when even legal businesses are scamming people out of money, and atyrau bridge is swarmed with mosquitoes at night.

I went to the Central Metropolitan Park — it's great there! There are so many places for recreation and entertainment that you can spend the whole day.
It's just a paradise for children: attractions, playgrounds, play areas — everything is there. My daughter and I had a lot of fun. There are also many places in the park where you can have a snack, from cafes to fast food outlets.
I also liked that the park has areas for active recreation: you can ride bicycles, scooters, roller skates. In summer, you can even rent catamarans there.
In general, if you are looking for a place to relax with your family, then I recommend the Central Metropolitan Park.
