A botanical monument of nature of national importance
The area of the botanical nature monument of republican significance "Central Botanical Garden" is 93 hectares
The Central Botanical Garden of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus is the country's largest center for the conservation of biodiversity of living plants, a leading scientific institution in the field of introduction, acclimatization, physiology, molecular biology, biotechnology, biochemistry and plant ecology.
Research and practical work in the field of plant introduction has ensured the creation of a gene pool of decorative and economically useful introduced plants from more than 15 thousand names, which is the national treasure of the Republic of Belarus.
We walked for 4 hours and did not go around everything, there are a lot of plants, there is a greenhouse, you can take a tour where they will tell you everything in detail. We walked by ourselves. We found interesting places. I liked the solitude with nature, there are no crowds of people.

08/24/24 we got to the event at the Botanical Garden. A great impression. Firstly, it is a very beautiful garden, well-groomed alleys, beautiful compositions. A beautiful indoor greenhouse. There is a pond with a goldfish (make a wish and it will definitely come true). Secondly, a very good organization of all kinds of entertainment, contests, puzzles for different ages of children. Nearby (and for this special thanks) there are chairs for parents while their child is having fun. There were mini cafes and shops with souvenirs and toys. We had a great time. The impressions are the most enthusiastic! We will definitely come again. Even if there is no event, there is something to see. We haven't reached the lake yet. I'm sure it's beautiful. I recommend. There is a parking lot next to the garden.

A large, well-maintained, beautiful park, which is conveniently accessible by metro. The ticket offices have a large plan on which the entire layout is visible and you can pay attention to the flora that you prefer. The park has stylish, modern and very cute sculptures. I was particularly impressed by the rose garden and the beautiful shady alleys. The greenhouse is modest in size, but insanely cozy, with a classic colonnade. There is a cafe and a WC.

The last time I was here as a child, I visited with my family now, although it was autumn, but we hoped that we would get positive emotions and have a good time, we were not disappointed, we spent more than three hours in the garden, I really liked it, I'm sure that it cannot be compared with summer flowering, but autumn has its own charm and charm. It was nice to walk slowly, although it was difficult, you were in a hurry all the time and imperceptibly quickened your pace... then you pull yourself together and learn to relax, to notice the beauty of nature,.. We were also pleased with coffee... you can buy a snack, there are many shops nearby.. and in the cool autumn, you can warm up with a glass of cappuccino. Fortunately, we did not have enough 3 hours to explore everything and we plan to return more than once to explore everything and just relax. I recommend...

Good afternoon. I visited the botanical garden in Minsk. A beautiful park of very large size and an incredible number of plants are presented and decorated in various compositions. Of course, you can visit the park with children, especially with young ones, but with great caution. I have already said that the park is very large and the children will just get tired of walking around it quickly. Of course, there are many benches where you can relax. There is also a pond with swans in the park. The infrastructure around the pond needs to be repaired. The bridges are quite dilapidated, be careful. There are alleys that are about a hundred years old. The walk was a pleasure, although my legs hurt a little.

At least once, but you need to visit here. A peaceful place. Air. Trees. Plants. There may be some activities and music in the center of the park. There is an amusement park nearby. But as soon as you turn into any alley, there is silence and tranquility at once. You can just walk around and enjoy the beauty. Or you can just sit on a bench. There are plenty of them.
Of course, there is a special beauty here during the flowering period: May-June. But on any day of summer and early autumn it is also pleasant here. Despite the fact that we were on Saturday afternoon, there were few people. There may be issues with parking on a weekday. On weekends, parking is free on the other side of the avenue.

We were in the garden in July 2024. A great place to walk in hot weather! The park is quite large, there are planted alleys and territories that look more like a forest park. A beautiful lake with an island and a swan brood! Lots of benches. There are picturesque flower beds and interestingly trimmed shrubs. The downside is the closed power points. It is very strange that in such hot weather it is impossible to buy water and ice cream. The power points are located only by the lake. I recommend this garden to visit.

The greenhouse was very impressive: you can walk among the plants to classical music, have a delicious meal in a cafe, watch fish, turtles and birds. In December, everything sleeps in the garden, I imagine how beautiful it is in spring and summer.

There are beautiful alleys, benches where you can sit, interesting insect installations scattered around the garden, stone figurines, arches, statues, intricately trimmed bushes. But! The flowers are placed in an ugly way. Actually, that's why most people come here. Just beds with mismatched flowers. The rose garden is more or less refined. Everything else is like growing seedlings. No aesthetics. It is impossible to find rare trees and plants. They are not on the plan, there are no guidebooks, there are not nameplates everywhere, in some places the letters have been erased. You can just take a walk like in any other park. There are signs in places.
It's interesting in the greenhouse, but it's very hot and humid. There are a couple of parrots in cages, there are no other animals. And it's also very cramped, narrow passages. But there are a lot of plants. There is a storage room in the form of lockers and a wardrobe where you need to take off your outerwear, although this does not save you from the heat. But you can go to another room of the greenhouse, where plants grow that do not need heat. Take a break and move on. In the greenhouse building, there is an entrance to the cafe on the back side. We weren't there because we had a snack with hot dogs from the kiosk. Two cafes are marked on the plan, one of them is not working. Unfortunately, the kiosk is not marked on the plan. Otherwise, they would not have bought sausages there, they would have reached the cafe. We decided that this is the cafe marked on the plan. The costs of transferring real objects to a drawing..
There is a toilet opposite the greenhouse. If you go straight from the greenhouse, there are buildings and a greenhouse almost at the fence. The lemonarium has been open there since October 19th. It is interesting to see how exotic plants grow. There are lemons, oranges, tangerines, pomelo, grapefruit, even banana and papaya grow. It's a pity, the trees were already bearing fruit, there were no flowers. The aroma of citrus fruits should be simply unreal. The paths are very narrow, it is difficult to disperse. The room is small, there is a small pond at the entrance, covered with duckweed. The lemonade also has hangers where you need to take off your outerwear. It would not hurt to open a small cafe here, where you could drink citrus lemonade and just sit and take a break.
We did not reach Swan lake, there is a very large garden area. We'll get there next time.
Sometimes you can go here. Tickets are inexpensive. In October 2024, an adult is 12 rubles, a child and a pensioner are 6 rubles. But I would like to improve the places where flowers grow.

I was in Minsk for the first time and decided to visit the botanical garden. On this day, there was a free tour organized by the staff of the garden for everyone.
To say that I liked it is not to say anything.
It's just a delight!!!
Very beautiful. There was little time to walk, but even a cursory inspection was enough to understand how well thought out and organized everything was. It seems to me that a week will not be enough to see everything that is here.
Thanks to the employees of this wonderful place for the positive emotions.

We were in the lemonade on an excursion. I liked everything very much. There are a couple of benches to sit on and enjoy the fragrance. Of course, the greenhouse is not big , there were a lot of people, but I really liked everything . A walk through the botanical garden in January is not as colorful as in summer. Nevertheless, conifers of different shades and types, the air is clean and pleasant.

I liked the Botanical Garden - a kind of corner of greenery, flowers, silence and shady alleys. It is located very well, next to Chelyuskintsev Park (Chelyuskintsev metro station). A lot of greenery and shady plants (which was very pleasant on a hot, sultry day). There is a pond where families of white swans and ducks live. There is a beautiful rose garden on the territory of the garden, in which many varieties of roses are raging. Those who love nature, plants, flowers - come here!

A great place to relax and walk. Hydrangeas are my love! A whole field of blooming phlox, dahlias, asters. Well-groomed conifers. Greenhouse plants - wow! As a florist and gardener with little, but already experience, it was interesting.
And this weekend, the My way event was organized (as I understand it, it is connected with India) with meditations, psychological conversations, massages and other interesting activities.
There are many fast food outlets, the prices are tolerable.
On Swan Lake we met .... a family of swans with three cubs. We didn't see any ducks, although there were a lot of them last time.
A huge park of old trees from all over the world is bewitching.
The ticket costs 20 rubles (includes entrance to the greenhouse). There are benefits for students and children (more detailed information is available on the kindergarten's website).

A wonderful place, always pleasant to visit. This weekend we were at the youth festival in the botanical garden. It's beautifully organized. Interesting entertainment areas, unusual people with diverse interests, extraordinary views and approaches. Good varied cuisine. A wonderful concert. I have long wanted to listen to young Belarusian performers "live". Cool. The rest was a success! Oh, by the way, the roses are wonderful! I love roses! It was worth a look too!

A wonderful place! We spent half a day there in August with an adult son who knows biology perfectly well! It is beautiful and clean, excellent visual design, silence, a lot of employees work unnoticeably and create this beauty... What a wonderful place in our city!!! When you don't come, you will definitely find something interesting: the flowering of rhododendrons, tulips, lilacs in spring, peonies, roses in summer, chrysanthemums, herbs, cereals, crazy colors of trees, bushes and lianas in autumn. Even in winter, the garden is beautiful, and in snowy winters, workers also arrange slides made of snow for the amusement of visitors!!! The greenhouse and the Lake complex are open all year round (if there is no reconstruction). And the alleys??? Well, it's a fairy tale!!! And the events are held in the kindergarten are wonderful!!!

Today, on October 27, entertainment events, the fire festival, and Phoenix took place in the botanical garden from 17-00 to 22-00.
We had been there since 19 o'clock, it was already dark, there were still queues for tickets, despite the three ticket offices open.
At first, the event was not impressed, closer to 21-00 there was a fire show, people blocked the view with a crowd, and those who did not take seats in the stands in advance did not really see anything....putting the child on his shoulders and holding the phone at arm's length, he was able to partially watch the performance with his family.

The garden is huge, you can walk around for several days, not hours. I've been to the botanical garden many times , but this time I was in the lemonary and it's a complete delight. What a smell, the blooming citrus trees are amazing. But they do not need to be fed, because they are fed by the staff of the garden and they have a balanced healthy diet.
There are several cafes and a free cleaned toilet (and not a bio toilet, but normal indoor toilets).
In general, everything is just super!) I recommend and wish you to definitely visit here, or better yet, more than once. Because there is something to see here at every time of the year!) 😁😌🥰👍✌️
