I went to see the Arc de Triomphe in Astana — it's impressive! The arch is dedicated to the 20th anniversary of Kazakhstan's independence and looks very symbolic.
The arch is 20 meters high, and it is decorated with Kazakh ornaments and sculptures that depict various archetypes of people: a mother woman, an elder sage, a medieval batyr and a modern soldier. At the top of the arch there is an observation deck where you can admire the views of the city.
I liked how the arch harmoniously blended into the urban landscape. In general, it's worth a visit!
"The Arc de Triomphe itself will not be interesting enough. It should be examined in a combination of the railway workers' park in one direction and a walking alley to the entrance to the botanical garden in the other.
As of 07/09/2024, the railway workers' park is a copy of Kazakhstan Temir Zholy.
Withered rows of young trees, withered grass. but!!!!! An indestructible block is a 6m steel pile (it is unclear what it represents) in the center, in general, of a small brocade.
The alley to the botanical garden is being restored, improved, and becomes more attractive. It should be judged after the completion of the work.

Dear residents and guests of the capital!
In the photo you can see our pride, the Arc de Triomphe and the square.
In the foreground, fenced off from the eyes of the layman by green shields, a motor pump stands and works around the clock. A pressure canvas sleeve with a diameter of 200 m and a length of 400 m is laid from it to a sewer well on another street. What does this mean!!!???
This means that the existing sewer collector either can no longer cope with the volume of wastewater or is defective. Pumping goes through the streets from one collector to another .
Congratulations to all of us!!! We, the square and the Arc de Triomphe, are waiting for a unique opportunity to sprinkle human waste!!!
Safety precautions--- walk no closer than 20m from a soft pressure handle!
And this "innovative technical solution" has been working since May!!
20.10.2024 The pumping pump and pressure hose have been removed. Communications repairs are probably planned.
A very atmospheric place! The availability of pedestrian access to both the ring itself and the observation deck makes this place very unique! A large number of cafes and fast food outlets. Good parking within walking distance.
