A great hotel in the north of the island. The price/quality ratio is excellent. We did not take breakfast, but we tried it a couple of times at the hotel, without frills, but quite decent, according to the menu: omelets, pancakes, sausages, bacon, yoghurts, cereals, fruits, tea/coffee, juices, water.
The beach is close, just a minute and through a picturesque passage you get to a quiet, small beach. We were in the relative off-season (the end of April) and there were almost never any people on the beach. All beaches in Mauritius are municipal, so no owner of either a villa or a hotel will chase you from the beach))
The room is bright, with air conditioning and a fan, very decent in size for two. We took the first floor with a terrace. There are rooms with a view of the parking lot (it is behind the bushes) and a view of the pool, most likely the second ones will be more picturesque.
The room has a bed, bedside tables, a wardrobe with a safe, a refrigerator, a tea/coffee set, mosquito repellents, a mirror, several paintings on the walls. It is ascetic, but it is quite enough for a beach holiday. At the reception you can always ask for plates, glasses and arrange cozy evenings on the terrace of your room.
The bathroom is large, but there are drawbacks: there are no shelves in the shower and you can never leave the door open, the door closer always closes it.
There is a swimming pool on site, not deep, but quite suitable for swimming. There were usually enough sun beds by the pool, but I think there may be problems in the season, although you can always walk to the room.
Overall, for a first visit to the island, this hotel was more than good.
P.S. But the north of the island is a minimum of activity, you should always leave for any impressions. So a car for rent is a necessary thing in Mauritius
Great hotel. Decent 3*. Small, but well thought out. There is everything for recreation. The rooms are quiet, daily cleaning and change of towels. There is a safe, a refrigerator. Standard rooms, as well as family rooms, are located on the 1st floor, I would not recommend them, since the paths to the restaurant go past the residential building and everyone can look in on you. Rooms on the 2nd floor are better. There is a small restaurant. The hotel provides free access to beach towels, beach umbrellas, and children's toys that anyone can take. The passage to the beach is exactly across the street. If you leave the hotel and walk to the right along the road, there will be a passage to another beach, I liked it more there. The hotel has its own secured parking. I recommend the hotel and I will definitely return to it again.
Excellent guesthouse. A full-fledged 3-star hotel. Always very clean, friendly and attentive staff, good furniture. The hotel is quiet, although there is a restaurant where the food is excellent! There are no interruptions in hot water and electricity. I recommend it!
