There used to be a good hotel, now it leaves much to be desired... It needs repair. They put me, my husband and daughter in a terrible room on the third floor, with an old wooden door to the balcony overlooking the courtyard. It was not the first time I rested there, it was always in good rooms, I did not even know that such a room could be there. For my daughter, they always forgot to put towels on (they did not remember that in three, and not in two).On the penultimate day, they forgot to give water at all, they ran after them and asked for it. On the day of the eviction, there was no one at the reception at all, they waited until they woke up....At breakfast, she constantly went and asked, then add sugar for coffee, then milk, they don't follow what and what is not there. In general, think before you go whether it is worth staying at this hotel, we will not return there anymore.
I really liked it. On the plus side: there is an elevator, there are only 2 rooms on the floor. The rooms are huge, comfortable with a kitchen and a living room. The fish market is 5 minutes away by tut-tuk, and you can walk. A very beautiful beach, the neighboring Palolem is also magnificent. The food in the cafe on the beach is delicious almost everywhere. To Palolem by tuk-tuk 150 rupees and 10 minutes.
The breakfasts at the hotel are included, delicious, quite varied.
Of the cons:
The hotel is the latest = the farthest from the beach, but it's really not far to walk 9 minutes, it just feels like you're living in the distance.
When we arrived, the pool was not working, and it had not been cleaned in a week.
The rooms themselves are clean, but the white walls are all stained (apparently from fat, food, and other things).
There are no pharmacies, no alcohol markets, but pharmacies in Chaudi there are a million of them, and alcohol is on the table, too, there are no problems to get there.
