Three stars only for the location of the hotel, for the novelty of the experience.
The location is gorgeous. The hotel is almost on the sea. There are shops and restaurants nearby. As well as free buses. But! Technically, to go down to the sea is to complete a quest, the probability of breaking a neck or legs. Elderly and overweight people could not get down. Many people wrote about this in the reviews. They complained back at the hotel. But, alas...
I want to say right away that we are not picky about the word at all. But it was trash.
The rooms were poorly cleaned.
Breakfast of three or four courses, greens and fruits (2-3 types). It's always the same. We weren't hungry, no. But, apparently, the expectation and reality did not coincide.
When I looked at the photos/reviews of the dining room in 2019, the contrast and today's regression were clearly noticeable.
The pools were not cleaned or disinfected.
I wouldn't have written all this if it hadn't been for the "cherry on the cake" at the check-out. We were charged for a dirty sheet, which they made themselves. They withdrew money for nuts and noodles, which were not included in the paid list. And, yes, a passport is required as a deposit upon entry. Don't give it back, no way!!!!!
The Chinese stole a beach towel from the guys. They were charged a huge amount of money when leaving. Until the guys insisted on watching the recording on the camera.
As they say, the sediment remains.
Well, yes, dirt. There's dirt all around. Nothing is being cleaned.
Thailand, next to Vietnam, nervously smokes on the sidelines. I love Ty, by the way. And we went to compare them.
The shower room is a separate ode to crookedness.
Yes, the hotel is clearly in need of renovation.
The review was not very positive and kind. Well, as it is.
In any case, we are very happy to meet Vietnam for the first time.
Anyway, we are very happy with the trip.
And we really hope that the hotel will not close, but will take all measures to thrive.
We were in December 2019 for 15 days and a ticket with a flight from Yekaterinburg cost 120 thousand! I really liked the hotel! Excellent large room with a balcony! Delicious varied breakfasts, lots of fruits! 2 swimming pools. Which is by the sea, just gorgeous! And the sea is very close to the hotel! We will definitely return to Palma and Phu Quoc again. We wanted to go in November 2024, but the tours are short, and it takes a long time to fly from Yekaterinburg through Kazakhstan. As soon as there are at least 2 weeks, we will be happy to fly!
This hotel can be rated no higher than 3*. It is located among the objects under construction. A stinky river runs along the hotel, next to the dining room. And when you go up the stairs to the dining room, you are accompanied by this smell. The dining room is large. They call her restaurant. He walks right up to the water. There used to be a ladder to go down to the sea to swim, but it collapsed. And tourists descend from the side of the dining room- there is a ladder welded there, and go to the neighboring beach along the shore about 300m. If the price for it was made adequate, then you can live there. You go down to the hotel along the path from the central ticket office, which is full of cafes, and there are 2 free buses. There is no territory where you can walk at all.
