I had a rest from November 27 to December 7, 2022. the hotel has an ideal location, very close to the sea, shops, restaurants, an ayurvedic clinic, the best in Kavelosim, clearly better than premium hotels here. There is a separate entrance to the room, so you do not have to go from the beach or to the beach through the reception. A good breakfast, though in the Vegan concept of the hotel. Friendly staff. Excellent air conditioning and a kettle in the room. A bunch of sockets anywhere in the room. A cozy balcony where you can sit in the evenings. Cons: very high wear of the room stock, in principle there is no hot water, the trouble with plumbing, there was no damaged plumbing at all, the taps are hanging out, the watering can does not switch to the shower. Room cleaning is only possible if you come to the reception and ask.
I am writing a fresh review. We stayed at the hotel on November 20-28, 2022. If safety is important to you, definitely not here. Almost all windows and doors on the 1st floor can be opened even by a child. All locks are weak, they open from the outside with little effort. In addition to mosquitoes, flies, large spiders and ants, frogs, lizards and a rat also lived in the room. Things began to disappear, usually at night- underpants, socks, a children's shirt, a T-shirt, soap! Band-aids, small toys, etc. It was unclear and scary somehow. Before leaving, we checked the sofa - it was all eaten and gnawed in it. There was a whole nest there. There is so much dirt in the room - as if no one had cleaned the bed, sofa, corners, windows/window sills for 10 years, I am generally silent about the shower. Everything is covered in dust and cobwebs. It is better not to open the closet, do not touch the curtains, and do not turn on the ceiling fan. Otherwise, dust and dirt will fall. There is a stench of some kind of poison in the closet. I really hope that the rat did not walk over us at night, but climbed only in the part where the sofa stands and in the bathtub (since she stole the soap from there). Room 703 was deluxe. Initially it was different, but even worse. At least there was a mini-refrigerator in this one, we managed to claim an electric kettle and 2 mugs. The blanket, apparently, is not washed. The sheets and pillowcases, thank God, were clean, except for stains that could not be washed and had a yellowish tinge. When they tried to find their missing things, they looked under the sheets. Dead bedbugs were found on the mattress. I really hope that they died long before us and we did not bring this happiness home.
It should be noted that the Indians, apparently, are settled in cleaner buildings. We passed by, looked in- it was cleaner and fresher there. But even empty rooms were booked, Russians were not accommodated there.
The dining room is clean. For breakfast - toast, something from pastries, butter, jam, some kind of fruit (watermelon, pineapple or papaya). Several spicy dishes -such as vegetables, potatoes, beans, soup. Tea and coffee with milk, one kind of cereal, milk, juice.
Only Hindus swam in the pool. Towels for the beach/pool were also given only to them.
Plus- next to the sea. The territory is not bad, decorated with lights, but all the swing benches are broken.
And if you walk to the farthest buildings, there's tin. The river is also dirty, muddy, and smelly. Mold is painted over on the outside of the housings. The paths are being painted.
I would never come back here again. No proximity to the sea is blocked by the neighborhood of a rat. According to other Russians, they have not seen such a tinplate, everyone is shocked, although many have already been to India more than once.
Our mosquito repellents don't help much, it's better to buy them.
If you speak excellent English and can achieve a more or less decent number, that's good. And if they don't really- they pretend that they don't understand you and say the same thing - they need time.
We had a rest from November 20 to December 1, 2022
The hotel is very old and ruined. The rooms are in a dilapidated condition. Neglected and dirty.
The curtains are greasy. The windows are dirty and stained. Air conditioning, walls and ceiling in the rooms as during the devastation. The furniture is rotten and dirty. You can't sit down, you can't touch it. Only with gloves on.
It's scary to touch the bed. It's scary to go to the toilet. Dirt and old age.
The towels are grey. The pastel is grey.
We arrived at 4 a.m. After seeing all this, I refused to move in. Our room was changed 3 times. On the 3rd they gave what is in the photo (it used to be even worse).
Vegan breakfast: this is porridge with pieces of porridge.porridge bread and rolls.
Coffee and tea are only with milk and only sickly sweet.
The first day I cried and cursed. If I knew, I wouldn't take it for the whole term.
We went swimming early in the morning and came in late. Every day I went to the reception myself and said that the room must be cleaned, otherwise they will not come to you.
Of the advantages, it is very close to the sea. The first line.
By the end of the rest, I got used to it. People are simple and kind. They're really slow. Dirt is everywhere here- there is no such thing in the culture yet.
The hotel should not be chosen locally, but from foreigners.
