Delicious Thai seafood curry rice

We decided to take tom yam with shrimp, offered to choose the spice, and settled on two out of four peppers. As a result, after the first spoonful, the whole mouth burns so much that it is impossible to continue eating. As for Tom yam himself, it's like water mixed with pepper and that's it. No coconut milk. But 4 shrimp, that was the only plus.
Even if the spiciness was normal, the tom yam itself would still not have been liked, since, again, the maximum watery base of the broth, without coconut milk.

I took rice with shrimps here in the fall of 2024, the sharpness was 3, everything was very tasty. On the weekend, I took the same rice with the same sharpness, as a result, a discarded dish, terribly spicy, for the sake of interest, my friends took it with a sharpness of 2 and 1, there is no difference… How is this possible?
Maybe I'll come here again, but I won't take anything spicy.
