Terminal 2. There is a giant problem with a security perimeter in the international zone. Two men's with a changing consciousness were detected. They looked like after alcohol but didn't have any kind of smell. I am sure that those people were passengers. One of these is pestering with private questions..
One moment is an international zone.
Everything is rationally thought out, clean, good lighting, plenty of space to relax and wait for the flight, information about the start of check-in is well supplied, you need to clearly follow all instructions when checking documents, correctly attach your passport to the scanner and look at the cameras correctly, if problems arise with this, then they are sent for inspection, when re-passing when you will to fly back, you will again have problems with accelerated passage.Loyal attitude during the inspection of things and the quantity of what is being transported, except for prohibited items, such as shells that you are taking home as a keepsake, or other souvenirs, you must first familiarize yourself with the rules of transportation.
The terminal is small, compact and generally convenient. 2 check-in areas, Area1 and Area2 instead of the usual allocation of racks by numbers.
Zone 1 for Fly Dubai, Zone 2 for Emirates. Other airlines do not serve here.
Registration is fast, border crossing is electronic and just instant on departure, on arrival longer but acceptable.
There is a large waiting room, a lot of people, but there is somewhere to sit down. Starbucks, McDuck and other eateries are available.
Large multi-zone duty free.
A disgustingly working business hall, which is immediately to the left after the special control, is always busy and with incompetent employees who, instead of organizing a queue, simply push you out with the words there are no places. They just pissed me off.
Otherwise, it's fine.
I recently traveled through Terminal 2 in Dubai and, unfortunately, was not entirely satisfied with my experience. Although the terminal offers modern amenities and a variety of shops, I am faced with a serious problem — congestion.
The passenger lounge with priority service, which I was counting on as a comfortable place to wait, turned out to be crowded. There were a lot of people there during rush hours, and I didn't have enough empty seats. The queues for registration and security checks were also long, which created additional stress.
I expected the lounge for priority passengers to be quieter and more comfortable, but unfortunately it didn't meet my expectations. I hope that in the future, the terminal administration will pay more attention to organizing the space and improving the service for all passengers.
In general, despite some positive aspects, such as cleanliness and friendly staff, the congestion of the hall left an unpleasant impression.
First impression: a very spacious room! It's comfortable inside, despite the heat outside. There are a lot of shops, cafes where you can have a cheap snack, Duty free. Currency exchangers, however, are not as profitable with the exchange rate as in the city. But in order to take a taxi to your destination, you can exchange some of the funds. The bathrooms are clean, they are constantly cleaned, there is even a place where you can wash your feet. The staff working with tourists is friendly and courteous. Many people don't speak much, but they can also speak Russian. But the movers there treat their luggage mercilessly!: The suitcases flew like balls. The result: one of our plastic suitcases had a corner jammed, which even turned it white, another lost a wheel. The wheel was solved right there, at the service point: after a short registration procedure, we were given a brand new suitcase, even larger, for free. Registration was quick, although there were a lot of people, as all the registration windows were working (unlike the Kazan terminal, where only half worked).
The modern technological terminal of Dubai airport. There are cafes, places for passengers to wait, clean modern toilets. The only drawback is very powerful air conditioners - both at the airport and on the bus that delivers passengers to the board
I was pleasantly surprised by the registration procedure:quickly, without unnecessary inspections, almost 4 hours before departure. We handed over our things and we could go shopping and eat, there were a lot of people, but there were enough places for everyone to wait, and the room temperature was comfortable.
There is a very large number of passengers in the waiting room, just crowds. It is very uncomfortable to feel like in a huge market during rush hour, especially with a small child, there is nowhere to go, it is impossible to put him on his feet, they will simply demolish him. I don't understand why they made one huge hall, it can be divided into halls, like in other world airports. In general, I did not expect such a service from the airport to Dubai.
I really liked the toilet. The woman who works there is just great. She has a score of 5+. She's a smart girl. Clear. All nationalities are equal for her. There are free seats for passengers, the luggage was checked in quickly, and a special person organizes everything. It's clean at the airport. I liked everything. The country is super. I went for the first time, they didn't overcharge.
Everything is convenient, control is not strict, water is allowed to be carried, toilets are clean, there are a lot of smoking rooms, electronic registration is mandatory, but food courts with loyal prices will help you figure it out in English.
There is everything you need, a shop, a coffee shop, a restaurant, an exchange office, despite the number of people leaving, there were places in the hall to sit in the F1 zone, all the zones are nearby, they were very quickly sent by bus to the plane
A very convenient airport. You won't get lost. But there are few Duty shops. The price tag for perfumes is cosmic. But in the hall you can meet almost all representatives of various states, many of them wear national costumes.
It's a great airport. Everything is convenient. The service is excellent. The prices in Duty Free for some of the goods are very low. Discounts at the checkout. A huge variety of people from all over the world.
An excellent, modern terminal. There are no huge queues, as in many other airports around the world. Friendly staff! But... there is nowhere for the apple to fall in the drive (departure area)... there are very few cafes where you can pass the time before departure. A very small business room. Therefore, 4 plus!
Compact, convenient, there is a smoking room. Mostly milking Flydubai and Indian airline passengers. If you have a connection from terminal 1 or 3, then you can comfortably wait there, there are only rows with seats.
Good duty free service! A little further from the city than from the first terminal. A big food court, just huge! There are many migrant workers from Eastern countries. Generally clean, but quite noisy at the same time. Everything is organized perfectly and there is beer, which pleases!!!
The airport is very small, but it has everything you need.: Duty-free, pharmacy, vending machines with water and coffee, areas with ice cream (not at all budget-friendly), a smoking room (it's full). Most importantly, there is free Wi-fi near the airport and in the airport itself.
Everything is fine, but passport control on arrival is long. The staff is unhurried.
Non-working information boards in the waiting area during the return flight.
There is a slight inconvenience in this, since if you do not know the language, you may not see the information about the departure, in case of a change.Prices in duty free are higher than in Russia. As it seemed.
On the street, Russian-speaking scammers offer to transport an iPad for a reward. Be careful.
The terminal is convenient, in any case you will get on your flight. The territory is not large, there are many shops, cafes. The prices are clear that 🤯. Everything is clean and tidy.
I liked the terminal. Quick passage through customs and passport control. The staff is polite and friendly. There is everything you need and duty-free shops and the Internet and a toilet and a drinking fountain and a coffee shop and a multinational multi-colored company! The main thing is to listen carefully to the boarding announcements. They announce in Russian, the latecomers were directly persuaded to fly home
The most disgusting terminal I've seen in my travels around the world. The tightness. There are 2.5 cafes where you can feed children with second-rate fast food, but for this you need to complete a quest: take a queue for a seat, seat the children, win back chairs (there are not enough for all tables), then stand in line for sandwiches and shawarma, which are not available at all and choose from what is available (it turned out to be assorted, not all used as it turned out)... the darkness, the curtain
It is beautiful, clean, passport control is simplified (you bring your passport to the device, you conduct it, the doors open and that's it), for whom the marks on the passport are important, then this year they did not put any in the UAE. In the summer, they were frozen, the air conditioners were working hard.
Three stars for a quick pass and trouble-free taxi rides, I don't like everything else. There are a lot of people, the terminal itself is small, there is nothing to see in duty free) except sweets. There's nowhere to even sit down during the season. In general, we are not fans of fly Dubai
The terminal is the simplest, it works correctly, the design of the docks is fast, the luggage is handed over anywhere in the center of the hall, you take a baggage coupon, which speeds up registration, new equipment, passage to the international departure zone by clicking on the passport with the flight did not work out that way. of the Disadvantages, the seats in the hall are pretty shabby, they take Buses to the Plane as in the USSR
We flew on vacation on March 1-9, 2025 from Novosibirsk with a Flydubai. Check-in at the counters is very fast (earlier than 3 hours), service begins, passport control through electronic terminals is also fast, baggage delivery is underway at this time. There is a dutifrey in the arrival and departure area (the choice is small, the prices are higher than the alcohol and cosmetics Ribbon in the Golden Apple), you should know that Terminal 2 is the smallest- it serves India and Russia.
Of course Dubai is not becoming what it used to be! Migration is making itself felt. Dubai Airport Terminal 2 is an Asian airport... Hindus, Pakistanis, etc. are 80 percent, but there is little room... Like a hostel from which a minibus departs/departs every 15 minutes. There are few places for a snack, the search and hunting for free places is at the highest level. We must pay tribute to the cleanliness of both the gym and the toilets. There is a smoking room and they sell beer freely in the cafe.
I visited the second terminal in Dubai twice, there were long transfers, very comfortable stay in the terminal, everything is very clean, friendly attitude of the staff, everyone is smiling. I do not speak English, but there were no problems with shopping in the dooty-free, there are consultants and cashiers who know Russian. I got a lot of pleasure from communicating with people
The terminal is not large, nor is there a large duty-free shop, two check-in areas, each for many flights, the queue is large, but it goes fast. After crossing the border, waiting is quite comfortable, there seem to be enough places for everyone.
Everything is fine here, debugged, auto activated, clean and people are working hard. The automated passport control system is very good. The main thing is not to listen to the workers at the airport entrance when departing from Dubai, who will send you to the terminals for self-registration on the plane. This is a paid service and a long one, it turns out faster for free in the queue.
We haven't been to this Terminal for two years. There are a lot of people, few empty seats to wait for the flight. It's difficult to eat while sitting at a table, people are just sitting with phones or laptops, and you don't have a place for a snack. In general, there was a feeling of the density of the human mass in an enclosed space, which I wanted to leave faster.
An ordinary terminal in small sizes has a duty free, there is a Priority pass zone, but it is quite small and there is always a queue. If you want to eat, there are several cafes at your service, but the prices are far from affordable, so it's better to have a snack in advance :-) :-)
It's just a dump. As if this is not a super-super elite Dubai, but a charter airport in Egypt. The impression is disgusting, the crowds are small, there is nowhere to sit, there is little choice of food, there is a strain with charging stations, and there is only one type of connector, the dutik is small. Everything totally sucks. Except for the toilets, everything is OK, clean, tidy, though there are also a lot of people. Compared to Terminal 1, it's just the bottom.
This particular terminal made a double impression on me. It seems to be ordinary, but not very pleasant. Although you can pass the time before the flight. There's only one business room here, unfortunately, and there's a queue for it. The common rooms are full too. Dutifrey did not like it, the range of products is not the best.
A small terminal for charters and cheap flights. FlyDubai also flies here. They arrive 3 hours before the flight. One common waiting room. There are places to sit, but you will be accompanied mainly by Pakistanis, Afghans, etc. The first terminal in comparison is a fairy tale from the future.
A terribly poor ugly terminal. Nothing pleases the eye during the 3-hour flight wait. A rather poor range of duty-free goods. Astronomical prices for souvenirs. A huge number of passengers from India and Pakistan, who travel in whole family clans, create noise and unsanitary conditions. Passengers of the Slavic, European type are practically not visible.
We must pay tribute to the cleaners of the premises and the cleanliness of the restrooms. The rest of the situation is extremely depressing.
It is very compact, there are a lot of people - besides our "polAsia". Duty free is decent, there is a Poppy and a couple more cafes, a good toilet and a smoking room full of people all the time))) Everything is for normal waiting, not hot and not stuffy.
If possible, try to take your time. The cosmetics store is generally not bad, but in general there are very few products. Interesting positions have either ended or are not being received. There are very few seats for such a number of departures.
A lot of people. You can't get into the business lounge, it's crowded. The duty Free is small, the prices for perfumes are the same as in Moscow. The cafes are small, everything is also busy, a snack is like going to a restaurant.
Duty Free is normal, there is a basic assortment, but without frills and exclusivity, there were also enough seats in the waiting room (we were a team).
The airport is great..we pass in 5 minutes...good parking. He got out of the car and flew away...clear...The dude is small...but there is also on arrival
A small terminal, five stars for the speed and convenience of passing the inspection, it makes no sense to arrive in advance.
Russian speakers work in duty free.
There is a McDuck and draft beer, but there are not enough tables.
