Delicious dishes of Armenian cuisine, atmospheric and soulful, in the evening you can listen to national songs performed by artists
I love dolma very much and every time I visit Yerevan, I order only it, and also be sure to try compotes, very juicy with pieces of berries and fruits.
The first time I was here was in 2014, before, of course, the portions of meat were much larger, that year we were with my husband, there was not so much meat on the bones.
This year we took potatoes with mushrooms, a very tasty dish.,
By the way, as a souvenir, you can take a red apple on the way out and take a picture with the staff
We visited two restaurants of this chain in Yerevan. Everywhere there is a pleasant interior, excellent and fast service, affordable prices and delicious food, large portions. On Friday evenings and weekends, it is probably better to book in advance.
I especially liked the pomegranate wine and grilled potatoes. Sevan whitefish on the grill is good, you can safely take one fish for two.
The check includes a 10% service charge, but I don't mind, I always leave a tip, and here the staff deserves it.
We visited the Yerevan tavern on 11/18/14. There is a large selection of Armenian dishes, the prices are adequate for the restaurant. Well, the location is excellent - the city center. Spacious hall, lots of tables, friendly staff.
We ordered 2 types of kebabs (pork, beef liver) and dogwood compote. In general, it's fine, but I wouldn't order a second time. A huge plus is that Mir cards are accepted.
There are places in every city where locals go. In Yerevan, this is the "Yerevan Tavern". The usual interior consists of wooden tables and chairs, several halls, and live music in one of them. Which is convenient - despite the fact that the menu is entirely in Armenian, there are photos of dishes on the menu. You can view and order by photo. By the way, the photos fully correspond to what is brought to the table. They cook very tasty - they ordered lobio, satsivi from fish, lamb kebab, khinkali with several fillings, everything was very tasty. The portions are large. Very nice waiters - if they don't understand something in Russian, they bring someone who will understand. At the same time, the order was delivered quickly. The bill for two was about 3 thousand, while half of the table was packed for us. Thank you for your hospitality.
A very tasty, atmospheric restaurant in Yerevan! Very attentive and polite waiters! Everything is very tasty explained on the menu) and our expectations were met) everything was very tasty! In the hall with live music, you need to book a table very much in advance, but the music is gorgeous, and the atmosphere is amazing!
Nice place, pleasant atmosphere and courteous staff. The food is very tasty 🔥
The interior is in the national style of Armenia.
It is clear that the restaurant adheres to an important principle: "Greater happiness is to give, not to receive."
Amazingly delicious hapama, and the rest of the cuisine too, I tried one of the most delicious tabuli salads here, and in the evening there is a real national holiday thanks to musicians and singers. The staff is hospitable and professional, there are no complaints
Delicious!! A varied menu! The service is excellentThe portions are decent. We ordered a lot after an hour-long walk. What we didn't eat, we carefully packed with ourselves. I highly recommend this place👍👍👍
This is a great place, Very friendly staff, the guys worked with incredible dedication. Everything is delicious, there are no questions about the cuisine, being a guest of the capital, I chose this place for daily meals along with walks around the city. The whole family is happy!
Last night, we went to dinner at one of the most famous restaurants in the city, found in all travel publications, the Yerevan Tavern. In general, there are as many as 4 of them, the grid, so to speak, is as national as possible in terms of menu, interior, and on certain days there is music and dancing, of course, Armenian. Well, we should, of course.
And we went to the most central one, next to Republic Square. And... they didn't let us in under the pretext of no seats, but... There are 7 huge halls and it's Tuesday evening... Well, there's also the body language of the "greeters." We are not welcome there. This is the only case in all these days. And he emphasized how warmly and sincerely we are treated here the rest of the time. Then, by the way, we read the reviews, and yes, this is not a one-time promotion, but a trend, even booking by phone is not possible in Armenian, they will also say there are no places.
But, the funny thing is, we walked (15 minutes, on Khorinatsi Street) to another establishment of the same chain, the same "Yerevan Tavern" and ... There were places, and they were welcomed as dear guests, and it was great service, as well as food. That's the paradox.
As a result, we recommend the place, the main thing is not that on Amiryan Street.
We had a corporate dinner here! A good institution in the Armenian traditional style, service and service at the level, everything is delicious and hospitable, I recommend it! Bravo to the repeaters
I liked this place the most in Yerevan. It is very tasty and inexpensive, there are always a lot of people in the evening, but this is normal for an institution in the center. Friendly waiters and fast service
Good presentation , pleasant and hospitable staff , cozy quiet atmosphere for meetings, negotiations , white gloves impressed right on the staff , well done , in a word , I recommend 👍
One of the most delicious places where we ate in Yerevan! Conveniently located in the center. Fast service, friendly staff. When we return to the city, we will definitely come again
A good restaurant in the city center with an interesting interior. The kitchen and service are a pleasant experience. We stopped by for breakfast, everything went great. Thanks!
Just like other restaurants in Yerevan, 3 stars only for dishes, I recommend removing the included 10% from the bill and training the staff, the attitude is not very good, for unknown reasons, as an example, they can bring several menus, put them by passing randomly and after 30 seconds ask you have already chosen, and if you are not ready then you will definitely see a dissatisfied face that will say I will come up in 2 minutes, and immediately there is a feeling that we must make it in these 2 minutes, maybe we are of course used to good service and now all this is quibbling, but excuse me, the cost in this institution is not lower than Moscow restaurants, in general, I recommend if you plan It's easy and quick to eat, well, it's not the right place to relax
The best hash my companion has ever tasted! Sooooo helpful waiters, very attentive. Everything is fast and at a high level! Thank you for your hospitality! We really liked it
A traditional military restaurant with excellent service at a high level. Amazingly delicious cuisine . If you come to Armenia, you should definitely eat at this restaurant
We entered by chance, as there were no places in the restaurants nearby . We were also given a dinner time of 1.5 hours. The decor in the hall corresponds to the name. We took kebabs and the first one . The first courses are ordinary, not wow , but you can eat, srednichok . The barbecue on the rib was delicious , but it was very sunny and it wasn 't grilled over coals . The ribs are a little dry . In general, it 's a normal place, but you can 't get much excitement here, as happens in many Armenian cafes . A good average score .
Quite a popular place in the city center. We stopped by for dinner. There were quite a lot of people.
We ordered a summer salad, eggplant rolls, chicken soup, vats, khurjin, khachapuri in Ajarian, dogwood compote.
The salad is excellent: fresh, juicy vegetables with herbs. Rolls, chicken soup are worthy. The vats are empty, there is not enough spice. Khachapuri is frankly weak: a lot of eggs, little cheese stretching. Khurjin is excellent both in serving and taste: a lot of meat and vegetables imbue the taste of the finest pita bread. The compote is also super.
The service is good, but not very friendly.
The total check came out at 17,380 AMD. The 10% service fee is automatically enabled.
A wonderful place! Authentic cuisine, excellent service. We were also lucky to get to live music - an ensemble of Armenian folk instruments played, and a very vociferous singer periodically sang. The dishes are all at the highest level. We had dinner at a restaurant one night, and the next ordered food delivered to the hotel.
For those who want to try real Armenian cuisine, this is the very thing.
+Restaurant in the center of Yerevan
+ Payment with a MIR card is possible
+ Fast service
+ The menu includes dishes of Armenian, Georgian and European cuisine (borscht, chicken soup, cabbage salad)
- There is 1 lamb bone in the soup Vats and a minimum of meat on it, very small pieces of potatoes and vegetables
- There is enough meat in hashlama, but the potatoes are undercooked, which spoils the overall impression.
One of the most delicious Hashes in the city, it is always fresh, delicious and national, kebabs depend on the chefs, it can be delicious, it can be so-so, meat is sometimes overexposed, service is at a VERY good level, the staff helps with the choice with care and friendliness
The most delicious cuisine in Yerevan, the service staff is at the highest level, you always feel like the most expensive and respected guest! it is very difficult to find a place without prior reservation. Near the Armenia Realty real estate agency
Very tasty! Be sure to book in advance, otherwise you will have to wait a long time for a table.
Soulful, delicious, national music, food is brought quickly- I will come back here again of course!
We arrived in Yerevan for one day. My husband and I decided to try Hash. The choice fell on this institution. And we didn't lose it!!!
The service, the taste and appearance of the dishes, the cleanliness are top notch!
The hash turned out to be very tasty, and the Dogwood compote is just🥰🥰🥰
Be sure to visit this restaurant, for sure, the pork and potatoes are delicious, and this trout in lavash is actually cooked by God! I'm sure she was swimming in a special pool, they caught her carefully and gently with their palms, then they brought her here in a Mercedes with a massage and carried her through a separate entrance, just 🤌🏻
I don't recall such a service in a relatively modest chain restaurant - despite the service included in the bill, I want to leave the waiters a lot of money. The wine selection is amazing. Take extra tortillas, you won't regret it. Kebabs are divine.
A very visited place! More like a tourist attraction)
Colorful male waiters, well-trained and dressed according to the canons of the USSR.
We tried to order a shish kebab - the waiter dismissed our choice with the words "you will not eat such a shish kebab, meat in Armenia is very tough when cooking", changed the choice to kebab.
There were no wines at an affordable price in the wine list, at the waiter's insistence, the choice fell on expensive wine (the most expensive for the two weeks spent in Armenia), but nevertheless the wine pleased with the taste.
In general, we had a good lunch, it was quite tasty, the price tag for the food pleased us.
If you evaluate the cuisine inside Yerevan, then this is the best and most atmospheric place with the most delicious cuisine, the service is excellent! If I had a score of 10, I would have given it 10! ❤
2 years have passed, and how everything has changed: the cuisine is also delicious, the service is excellent, but the prices (Was in January. We took 1 salad, 2 hot ones, 2 glasses of wine = almost 5000 rubles. Now I'm afraid to go into other establishments of this restaurant group, if there is such a price tag, then what is there?
