We stayed on the territory for 2 nights in the hope of eating here. The prices in the cafe are above average. The breakfasts were normal, and the corn porridge tasted like warmed milk. You shouldn't count on dinner too much. Half of the menu is missing, if you don't eat meat, then you have nothing to eat here except desserts. We ordered a burger, potato balls and bulugur with chicken. The burger doesn't taste good. There is no sauce in it, nor the potatoes that are indicated. Chicken and bulugur are not even salty, just tasteless food. We made a take-out order and were told to arrive in 20-25 minutes. I arrived in 30 minutes. There is no order. I ask where the order is, the waiters mumble and leave, and silence. As a result, it was given away after 50 minutes. I don't recommend this cafe, it's better to buy pies on the way.
Charyn Canyon is, without exaggeration, a wonderful place, amazing. We went as a family with children and were shocked by the splendor and majesty of the canyon. The whole descent to the river in the midst of the huge and bizarre creations of nature is breathtaking. It seemed to me less exotic to watch the canyon from above than when descending to the river.
The delivery of tourists wishing to drive through the canyon is well organized, especially if you are traveling with young children.
There is a wonderful restaurant upstairs, with good cuisine, excellent service that will not leave you hungry
We were there today, we stopped by to eat soup and go for a walk in the canyon, but we spent too much time here.:
1. We ordered 2 servings of cheese soup. Portions were brought in different sizes. The question was answered that the second soup was brought to us from the banquet. The soup was taken away and brought in a different color . 🤷🏼♀️
2. There are dirty tabletops with QR codes on the tables for paying for an order through the app. When scanning the code, the order didn't come out at all. They brought another table tent and also passed by. As a result, we managed to pay through the app by scanning the code on the pre-receipt.
3. The prices in the menu and receipt are different. The cheese soup cost 500 tenge more.
4. And in general: the hall is not tidy, there are crumbs on the tables, the staff is floating, the menu is poorly known.
5. The cheese soup is delicious and normal, the tomato soup is watery, absolutely not rich.
We lost a lot of time and got upset.
The place is nice, stylish, and pleasant. That's probably the end of the advantages.
They charge 15% for the service. Apparently, this is serving their needs: the waiters don't notice anyone, the waiters don't know anything if you ask about something more than the price or the availability of the menu in Russian.
We ordered 3 soups. Two identical cheese cakes - the difference in volume is about a third. We called the waiter and went to find out, it turned out that we had received a smaller portion from the banquet. The taste is normal, although you can expect a little more for 2500 tenge.
Tomato soup... Nothing, as if a little spice had been added to the tomato juice and warmed. It tastes better in any eatery in Turkey (Istanbul, Alanya).
The whole soup was calculated at the same price, although the price on the menu is different. Naturally, not in our favor.
There is a code on the tables for paying through the Sandyq prime application. At first, someone else's account came out for 10 times more, then our code was brought, but it was empty. We were able to pay only when we scanned the code from the receipt.
A good cafe, a beautiful service, everything was prepared quickly.
Delicious food, and incredibly tender Baursaks!
Be sure to take a look if you come on an excursion to the Charyn Canyon!
It's an amazing place. The natural beauty and power are breathtaking. At the bottom of the canyon you can walk to the river and back, you can take a loaf. But don't deny yourself the pleasure of walking at least one way.
We stayed for 2 nights.
There are no questions about the accommodation, everything is very decent.
But the cafe is just a song.
For dinner, we were advised to make a pre-order in advance. We arrived at 16:30 with an order for 19.
The menu is not too extensive, the price tag is high. But, there are no burgers at all, half of the main dishes and salads from the menu are missing. Well, we had dinner once.
For breakfast, we went to the open
Nice restaurant, good service. We took an omelette, potato balls and an ice latte to take away. The price tag is high, although average for Almaty. The food is delicious, the staff is polite. The only unpleasant nuance was that part of our company, which decided to have a snack at the institution, did not manage to have lunch, because Pavel Durov arrived and they were simply asked to leave, although the order had already been accepted. In fact, they simply refused to serve them and were not even offered an alternative, and this is the only place near the canyon where you could eat.
Good day to everyone. Unfortunately, I have to write a negative review about this institution. The behavior of the waiters is very disgusting, as if they recruited such people on purpose. It is a great shame to bring tourists to these establishments since there are no more alternatives, sometimes they are forced to enter these establishments. This restaurant, who knows, is not very cheap, but the service is like in a diner near the highway. I am very ashamed in front of foreigners for our face, which they show with their rudeness and service. I advise you to recruit staff very selectively, as this primarily shows our hospitality.
It doesn't seem expensive by the standards of Alma-Ata, but after waiting half an hour, we left without waiting for the waiter. They asked twice if it was possible to eat, the staff said "of course" and continued to go about their business. If you take a chance, don't wait, go get the menu and place an order at the bar yourself. But even after that, judging by the reviews in other maps, you will have a long wait for the order.
A specific menu. Apparently the author's kitchen. I understand everything, but there should be black tea, but there is none)
For the sake of objectivity, I will say that all the food was delicious.
Great view from the window.
We sat down, called the waiter ourselves and waited for the menu for another 10 minutes.
It's a little expensive. The beef burger is not delicious, the cheese soup is nothing.
We were in the same cafe where the Ayusai waterfalls are, absolutely everything is terrible there!
The service is weak, I had to run after the waiter, there is not everything on the menu, they say that it is necessary to cook by imposing an order on a guest that is more expensive and I do not want to eat such a dish,
I do not recommend it!!!!
Terrible service, visitors accumulated, and everyone was refused, due to the fact that who rented the entire gazebo, they said to wait an hour and a half, it's terrible
