We went around the main customs office to avoid standing in line. While we were driving here, we thought we got lost because there were no cars on the road at all. The customs itself is like from the past - one border guard and a manual iron barrier. But the passage does not take any time at all, so it is quite a good option.

A small customs post. If you are traveling from Smolensk, the road is narrow, but there are practically no cars on it. If you suddenly did not get insurance, then after the barrier on the Belarusian side, there is an insurer's trailer on the left. It is better to pay in cash, you can also use a Savings card. For passenger cars, insurance is 1300 rubles.

The road to the border is not very good, I drove in winter, but there are advantages, there is no queue. Refueling will be only after Orsha, it is better to refuel in Smolensk.

Great, not many people. We were driving from Smolensk using the navigator and after the next settlement suddenly there was a barrier and a border post. The border guards are very polite, showed their passports, opened the trunk and let's go to Belarus!
