The food and service are good. The setting is nice. It's right next to a large mosque, so it's difficult to access on Fridays. One day they didn't have doner ready when we arrived for lunch at noon.

The Taj Qurtob restaurant in Tashkent is a great place for those who want to taste authentic Tajik cuisine. The main dish, kurutob, is served in a traditional style: with crispy tortillas, fresh vegetables and a fragrant sauce. The portions are generous and the taste is really authentic.
The interior of the restaurant is cozy, with an oriental flavor, and the staff is friendly and ready to help with the selection of dishes. In addition to kurutoba, it is worth trying sambusa and pilaf — they are also excellent here.
The prices are reasonable, especially considering the quality and portion size. The only negative is that it can be difficult to find an empty table during rush hours, so it's better to book in advance.
In general, if you want to try authentic Tajik cuisine in Tashkent, Taj Qurtob is a great choice!

I really liked the interior of the place — stylish, cozy and atmospheric. The food was really delicious, and the berry tea left a pleasant impression due to its rich and original taste. The fondue was cooked for quite a long time and we had to take it with us. Otherwise, everything was at a high level. I recommend it to anyone who appreciates the atmosphere, delicious food and good service.

The place is beautiful and atmospheric. About the food, I didn't really like it. We ordered lagman, the vegetables are too soft, "overcooked". Mantas are delicious, but not juicy. Kurutob himself didn't come in, it was a warm mess, and it looked like they put canned stew on top. Everyone has different tastes, I definitely won't go anymore.

The staff is wonderful. We ordered kurtoba, salad, soup and dumplings. The taste is for an amateur, if you take my opinion into account, there are fewer spices in the dumplings, and more meat in the chicken. The soup is perfect. I may be wrong, I tried it for the first time. Everything is clean and tidy.

What's the point of booking a table or a room if you're still not letting people sit in that place for the benefit of one person? There were five of us with a 1.5🍋sum check, we were going for one less person, BUT WE BOOKED A ROOM THE DAY before FOR IFTAR. For 500k, the meat was bloody and uncooked, tasteless and saltless, except for the CURUTOB, I left everything else to wish for the best. Thanks guys for the service!

It's a great place. I have been looking for Tajik cuisine for a long time, especially kurutob in Tashkent, but alas it was not there. Although the institution has recently opened, it was very pleased with the comfort, excellent staff, who speaks Russian, Uzbek and Tajik languages, pleases. The atmosphere of Tajikistan is felt.
