I ordered two honey cakes. Lemon and coffee. There is a lot of moisture somewhere, so in some places the dough is completely wet. The balance of the dough is not felt at all, very delicate. But the cream is either sour cream or something, but it's right with sourness. Even lemon juice feels like it's not citric acid. It doesn't go well with coffee at all.
As it was somewhere in the reviews, a piece of happiness is an order of magnitude higher.
This place has been familiar to me for five years since my studies at the university, there was such a very atmospheric little cafe at that location, I took my favorite buckwheat tea there, but I never tried honey)
And after so many years, I saw them at a new point on Moskovskaya
There is already a slightly different energy institution, a la took and went, from above you can just see the very cameras that brought back memories to me from the point on the ear)
And so we decided to try honey cake, in general, in everyday life I really love them, plus I love salted caramel, so there was no choice what kind of taste we would try.
So, as a dessert it's delicious, but as a honey cake - it's not clear)
For me, honey cake is a bunch of layers soaked in filling, but here it's a lot of filling and little dough. That's what I didn't understand, maybe this is the trick of the place, or I've just always tried classic recipes
Delicious creamy cocoa and coffee honey cake. A pleasant barista, a beautiful location with cameras and vinyl records! Near OZ, you can buy a book and read over a cup of coffee)
