We were at the Sunrise Hotel this January. Two adults and a small child. The room was clean, but it was a little chilly. The breakfast is modest but delicious. Very pleasant hotel staff chatted at breakfast every day.
Yes, there is a spiral staircase, but this is also a mini-hotel, no one expected wide corridors and an elevator. My 2-year-old kid and I walked up the stairs several times a day and didn't break off.
The main advantage is that the hotel is located 5 minutes from Istanbul's main attractions! The sea is 7 minutes away. Public transport is also nearby. There are a lot of eateries around, a playground, a supermarket, even a huge market for wholesale purchases.
Nice view from the terrace!
It's terrible! I do not recommend it!!! We were so disappointed with what we saw when we moved in that at first we couldn't even believe our eyes. A spiral staircase, perhaps the narrowest and steepest in the world, leads to the 5th floor. There is no elevator. The rooms are tiny. Breakfast is cheap. The staff is not friendly. Complaints voiced to the owner are like peas against the wall. No thanks, no thanks, no apologies. The views from the terrace are attracted by the focus of the camera lens! Don't check in! The terrace is covered in linen and seagulls
It was a nice, small hotel, and they asked for a lower room because they were with a child. Given. I was afraid it would be cold, but they immediately turned on the battery and the room warmed up while we were walking. The water pressure is excellent. Staying a couple of nights to see the countryside is just the thing.
