I recommend! The best hotel in old Istanbul, where human relations with visitors are above all! In Istanbul, I flew with a transfer to another country (17 hours of waiting), and it so happened that I helped three girls get from the airport to the hotel! The guys showed incredible hospitality and called, free of charge, to wait 4 hours in the hotel lobby, charge the phone, use the Internet and gave a lot of useful advice! I want to express my special gratitude to Nazim, a young guy at the reception, and of course to the hotel owner, whom, unfortunately, I couldn't get acquainted with! Guys, you are the best!

Very conveniently located. In fact, all the main attractions are within walking distance. The room is in good condition. For the three. Breakfast from a set of obviously imported dishes. Maybe the croutons are fried themselves (at most). Although, they are only warm sometimes. From the very opening of the breakfast (from 8-00). But, as a snack, it's quite enough in the morning. Special thanks to the staff. He is friendly, speaks Russian (it looks like Uzbekistan). They try to resolve emerging issues to the best of their ability. In general, for your money, a great option for settling in and a base for exploring Istanbul.

Nice hotel in the historical area of Istanbul, close to the main tourist sites. Everything is within walking distance. The staff is friendly, all questions will be answered, the girl at the reception knows Russian. The room itself is not new, but it is quite decent, all the amenities were there. The breakfasts are modest, but you will not stay hungry, there are cereals, eggs, rolls, jams, butter, vegetables, cheeses and more. We could come back here next time.)

We had a vacation in April 2024 with our child. The hotel is not bad. The best thing about it is the location. It takes a maximum of 5 minutes to get to the center (collecting all excursions). There is a supermarket near the hotel. At first, we were put in a creepy room in a separate building, but the next day, thank God, we were moved to the main building. The room in the main building is not large, but everything is there. The child has a separate bed plus a double bed. There were no problems with water or heating. Of course, the hotel is old and in need of renovation, but in general it is possible to live. We left at 8 a.m. and arrived at 7 p.m., sometimes at 12. The breakfast was modest, but we didn't stay hungry. The terrace has a great view of the Marmara Sea. The hotels have an elevator. And lots of seals. As well as in the whole of Istanbul. All employees speak Russian.

The hotel is in the very center. The rooms and the hotel itself are tired. But the location, the roof deck, and the staff cover the disadvantages. Of the advantages: Veranda, clean bed linen, comfortable beds and pillows, warm blankets, room cleaning, breakfast. Among the disadvantages (rather features): in the old building, a steep staircase (but there is an elevator), a problem with hot water (solved immediately, as I told the administrator), a ruined room, monotonous breakfasts. Maybe I would have gone to the same place again.

We were in Istanbul for the first time and chose a hotel based on the location and reviews of compatriots. The hotel is old, but it has everything you need. The main thing for us was the presence of Russian-speaking staff and almost everyone speaks Russian)) The staff is pleasant, friendly, everyone tries to make your stay more comfortable. We noticed that many tourists are not vacationing here for the first time. There is a small courtyard/garden where you can sit with cute kittens big and small) Sultanahmet Square is a three-minute walk away. Transfer to the airport from the hotel is cheaper than we were offered anywhere else. The breakfasts are without frills, monotonous, but we are unpretentious) everything is delicious, the main thing is to refresh yourself before walking around the city, and there you will eat Turkish delicacies in different restaurants during the day)) Among the disadvantages, we note the interruptions of hot/ cold water and the lack of towel racks. Everything you need (shampoo, gel, soap, slippers, towels) is available. The hotel is located right next to the mosque, so the call to prayer is loud enough. But on the second morning they did not wake up under it, apparently the body understood and slept soundly after walking) but the view is very beautiful from the terrace. If you want to have breakfast there in the open air, we do not recommend leaving the plates unattended while you are pouring coffee, the seagulls are very nimble. We recommend the hotel

We had a vacation with a friend in early November. Overall, not bad for a 3-star hotel. The breakfasts are fresh, we had enough of everything. The hotel is not new, like most hotels in the area. But for the view from the terrace, this hotel can be forgiven for all its disadvantages. All the attractions are very close, and there is a tram service to the rest. The bus stop is a 10-minute walk away. The staff is friendly and Russian-speaking. We liked it 👌

Friendly staff, delicious breakfasts (dining room on the top floor with a beautiful view), there is a kettle and glasses in the room. Separately, I would like to note the cleanliness in the room. On the downside, we stopped when it was cold, the battery in the bedroom wasn't working, only in the bathroom, so it was damp and a little cold.

A great hotel with an ideal location! Everything is nearby: the Grand Bazaar, Sultanahmet, Hagia Sophia and much more. Close to the tram stop, shops. The hotel is old, but the veranda has a gorgeous view of the Bosphorus. The staff is the heart of the hotel, very friendly people who are always ready to help 💙 The breakfasts are good: the choice is small, but the food is good. Thank you very much, we'll be back!

The advantages are the location, it is the very center. The rooms were spacious, I had a sea view, 3rd floor, they speak Russian at the reception, they are very friendly, they put clean towels every day, the mattress and pillows were very comfortable for me, The disadvantages were poor water pressure in the shower, towel hooks are broken, there is nowhere to hang outerwear, although the whole corner There's a man at the door. Good location, close to all major attractions, shops, etc. You can walk down to the Bosphorus, there is a park with a Playground nearby. The view from the hotel is mesmerizing. The staff is Russian-speaking and very helpful. There is a small courtyard. The breakfasts are decent, you will not stay hungry: omelette, boiled eggs, olives, olives, vegetables, watermelon, cheese, sausage, croutons, very tasty casserole, good coffee. Among the disadvantages - the hotel is tired, the towel hooks are broken in the bathroom, the refrigerator did not work.

The hotel has a convenient location. The hotel itself looks tired, as probably all similar hotels in Istanbul do, but the staff tries to see it, comfortable beds are the most important thing for a tourist in Istanbul. The breakfasts are monotonous, but satisfying and delicious, and we didn't stay hungry. If you are not a snob or a gourmet of chain hotels, then this is your hotel.

It's a good hotel to just spend the night in. And you don't need to be in Istanbul anymore! Modest breakfasts , but they are available ) on a wide veranda from which you can see the whole city. It's an amazing feeling to see this in the morning. The room itself was super simple, very old. There was no cleaning. We managed on our own, as it was clean as soon as we spent the night. The staff is friendly and always tries to help. There is an elevator

A wonderful 3-star hotel. Cozy and homely. We took a ticket with breakfast, we were satisfied, everything necessary for breakfast was delicious. Of course, there is something to complain about in the room, but we came to walk and explore the city, and not pay attention to any little things. There are Russian speakers at the reception, the Internet is working properly even sitting near the hotel. There was a water outage one day, but the issue was resolved, we slept so soundly on the beds that we barely got up for breakfast. Everything is within walking distance, transport was not used, near the Blue Mosque, 3 minutes walk. In general, I don't mind staying here again.

Excellent location, 10-15 minutes walk to the tram stop, 5-8 minutes to the sights. Nearby cafes, restaurants, shops with groceries, souvenirs, a small liquor store, a minimarket with fruits and sour-milk products. The Stone Hotel Istanbul has 17 rooms (ranging from 15 to 39 m2), decorated in a traditional style, equipped with all the necessary services and amenities. There is an elevator, which is important, because it is not very convenient to climb the spiral staircase. All rooms have a TV, free Wi-Fi, slippers, mini fridge, air conditioning, kettle, bathroom, standard hotel hairdryer, underfloor heating in the bathroom. Cleaning every day. Breakfast on the terrace from 8-30 to 10-30, the usual modest breakfast, tea/coffee, sliced sausage, cheese of 1-2 types, olives and olives, tomatoes, cucumbers, croutons, omelet, jam. The staff speaks Russian, there is a 24-hour front desk. Iron and ironer on request. You can also relax and contemplate the beauty of the old town with a cup of tea or coffee on the terrace. There is no parking. If you plan to come with a small child (with a stroller), it will be very inconvenient, because there are steep descents / ascents along the streets. Pros: the air conditioner worked for heating in the bathroom floor heating on the floor of the wall battery (it was raining, things got wet from a walk - everything dried out instantly on the batteries). Cons: cosmetic repairs are required, there are holes from nails, the tile has fallen off, the handle to the toilet is hanging in all directions there is no handle on the window, only holes from them. they do not respond to the contacts listed on the hotel's website.

It's a good hotel, the renovation is not the newest, but it's just right to spend the night. The only advantage is the location. Everything else is just cons. The room is so tired that it's falling apart. The bed linen is full of holes. The towels seem to be soaked with bleach- the smell is terrible. There is no hot water, it is barely warm. They were given only after repeated requests to the reception. In the morning, the smell of fried food is in the room, as if it were being cooked in the room. At the same time, it is not clear who is cooking. Since the breakfast is all imported. The omelet is warm only at 8.00. You can drink tea. Instant coffee. There's nothing to eat but olives. At 9:00, there's really nothing. We had breakfast once out of 10 days. I do not recommend this hotel.

We spent 5 days in this hotel with my husband, or rather just spent the night! )) We chose it solely by location, it's just great. The historical part of Istanbul, all the main attractions are within walking distance. Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, etc. There are a lot of small cafes and restaurants in the courtyard, and a magnificent view of the Bosphorus opens from the terrace. Yes, the hotel is quite "tired", the breakfasts are monotonous, but you will definitely never stay hungry, the staff is Russian-speaking, they will always tell you or at least try to help))) The first lira was changed at the reception. There is an exit to the backyard, we didn't find out about it right away. in general, Istanbul is, of course, an incredible city that is definitely worth a visit!

The hotel is good for its money. We knew where we were going. The bed is comfortable, the location is 5 minutes to the center, 7 minutes to the T1 tram, from where you can get to other attractions and places. Our windows overlooked the mosque. It's loud enough, so the Azan, including at 5 a.m., of course. But I respect this religion, so for me the sounds of the azan are pleasant. The cleaning was a little disappointing. When we checked in, there were about 5 pieces of long black hair everywhere in the room. But I guess it's the women themselves who clean and cook. Therefore, of course, not for very picky tourists There are only Turkish channels on the TV, there is a kettle in the room, a so-so hairdryer. Shampoo and shower gel are put on every day. There are slippers in the room with a star The view from the breakfast terrace is gorgeous! He is very happy every morning. The breakfasts are simple , but my husband and I had enough before lunch: sausages in tomato sauce, local cheeses and sausages, boiled eggs, omelette, butter and a lot of different jams, olives, tomatoes, cucumbers and a couple of salads, white bread. Coffee from the coffee machine, Turkish delicious tea. I will boldly recommend the hotel to my friends. There are many cafes nearby, a small supermarket in the next building in the basement, also 3-5 minutes away from Şok and A101 - chain supermarkets without alcohol. It is very profitable to take chocolate, local products for yourself and for gifts there! Nearby there is a Tekel mesh store with alcohol, for whom it is important. But it's more expensive there than in supermarkets. But they also work at night, it turns out

It's a terrible hotel. There are some rooms in the picture, but they live in another one. A former hammam with a bathroom in the room. It stinks of mold, the humidity is high, there is nothing to breathe, the wallpaper peels off from the humidity. And at the same time, they didn't want to change, the manager doesn't pick up the phone in the evening. I spent 2 hours dealing with them about a refund for a reservation or relocation. The location of the hotel is perfect, all the sights are nearby. The room is nice, clean, there were no problems with the water (sometimes the water did not immediately heat up). The breakfast was the same every day, generally delicious. I was glad that the reception staff is Russian-speaking. Malik's employee immediately registered us, told us everything, a very polite, smiling and pleasant girl. Employee Bakhtiar told how and where to get there, bought excursions from him, which they were completely delighted with (in other places it was much more expensive to compare). Also, on the day of our departure, it turned out that a marathon was being held and the president was coming, and therefore all roads were blocked, it was impossible to arrange either a transfer or a taxi, only the subway. Bakhtiar was able to arrange a taxi for us, helped with our luggage. In general, the big plus of this hotel is the staff, our every request was solved.

A good hotel to spend the night, swim and have a snack in the morning. We did not have high expectations about the hotel, so the slightly departed wallpaper in the room did not bother us at all. The windows overlooked the courtyard. Istanbul is not the place where you will spend all your time in a hotel. They cleaned every day, took out the trash, changed the towel if they put it on the floor. Breakfast from 8:00 to 10:00 omelette, vegetables, sausages, cheeses, bread, eggs, salad with cabbage and breakfast cereals with milk. In general, eating in the morning and running on an excursion is the best thing. Overall, as a place to spend the night, they are good) Most of the staff speaks Russian. There is a mini-shop nearby, a couple of minutes up to the hippodrome square. We personally heard that they called for prayer only from Sunday to Monday at 5 a.m. There was no work week on the other days. (from Saturday to Sunday we were not there) PS. On the first night, at 3 a.m., our TV turned on 😁 We don't know if it was a prank from the previous tenants or if everyone had it. We unplugged it just in case. 😁

I don't understand tourists leaving positive reviews! The location is, of course, good. But every other building in this area of Istanbul is a hotel. So nothing unique. The rest just sucks. The rooms are cleaned disgustingly. Even the sink had to be washed with toilet soap itself. For 8 nights, the bed linen has not been changed once. The plumbing is bad - the hot water is barely flowing. The breakfasts are inedible. Cold sausages and scrambled eggs every day, titanium tea as in the canteen. Sausage, butter and cheese of the lowest quality. I have something to compare it with - other hotels in Istanbul offer a significant variety. There are not even tea bags in the room. The young man at the reception is very helpful and ready to help. But that's where all the advantages end.
