9 years ago (!) I came to Mikhail with a problematic rail on a BMW e36. After removing the rail and carrying out its diagnosis, it was proposed to replace it with the e46 rail restored by Mikhail, since mine turned out to be a corpse.… She becomes a bolt, he has no problems, and according to the people who set her up, she is better in all respects. I listened to the advice of the Master and did not lose. After almost 9 years and having rolled 52K km, I came to Mikhail for a diagnosis. The rail is practically unchanged, the oil in the tank is light crimson. I was very happy about it.

For a long time I could not understand the reason for the crunch when taxiing, I went to the official diagnostics, changed the good levers to new ones… When I realized that the rake- the choice was made correctly. The alternative is a new rail - at a price 3 times more, it was not appropriate to farm on the steering wheel, so I went from Russia to Minsk to do repairs with the original kit. There was a problem with the active steering rack on the BMW e63. There are no companies in Russia that are ready to undertake the repair of the active steering rack of old BMWs (I am generally silent about the warranty). On the advice of friends and monitoring offers, I stopped at this service. After talking with the master, all my doubts disappeared. In advance, the master set deadlines for the work (2 days), the amount of repair, the components on which everything will be assembled (original or lemferder). It was like this) BMW X5 g05 there was a knock in the right wheel and started clicking when turning the steering wheel to the left. Not critical, but it was heard in the parking lot. The car is guaranteed to wait for 9 months, I started looking for where to make it in Moscow, called all the top services, listened to such a game ... I thought everything.... A new rail at your own expense, not comme il faut with clicks)) I accidentally stumbled upon the guys, found them on Yandex, called them, the first ones who suggested on the phone that they have light in their eyes, as they say, and understanding)) I went to them, in the morning I arrived from Moscow for 3-4 hours, everything was done, then they sent me to the collapse. You can't recognize the car, ideally, knocks, clicks, everything is gone, a bomb is holding the road! In general, the guys are great, the attitude is top-notch and the hands too! Thank you. Hello. I want to write my story...
in 2024, I was in Italy with my family. Audi a6 C7 Allroad 2016 car. It so happened that the car broke down at one point: the red steering wheel lit up on the dashboard, a warning flashed and after a few minutes the steering wheel stopped rotating even with great effort. All this happened absolutely suddenly: before that, there were no errors, extraneous noises when turning the steering wheel. The car was evacuated to the service of friends, but they could only help with the removal and installation of the rail - they were not engaged in repairs. After working out all possible options for action, it was decided to send for repair to an Italian company that specialized in the repair (restoration) of such rails. A few weeks later, the "repaired" rail was installed on the car. The steering wheel started working, but not as fast as it was - there were knocks during intensive rotation of the steering wheel and "microfreezes" (microfibrations), the steering wheel began to rotate a little harder. Because there was no time left to figure it out (the company for the restoration of rails was 1,500 km away), it was decided to go to Minsk and solve these issues on the spot (according to only an electrical fault was eliminated in the rail, nothing was done mechanically).
Upon his return, he contacted the steering company.however, after a short diagnosis, the specialist (Mikhail) issued a verdict that this should not happen and it is necessary to remove, disassemble and find out the reasons. Literally during this day, these works were completed and the reasons were established:
1. The bearing housing was artistically manufactured and installed, into which a non-original radial bearing was inserted (a completely different radial bearing was installed at the factory). The whole structure was connected to several welding points!
2. Incomprehensible plastic and metal washers are installed instead of the original spring rings.
3. Non-original anthers and clamps are installed.
4. An incomprehensible lubricant was used inside the mechanism.
5. The stator and rotor windings were completely corroded.
6. Steel balls are installed in an inappropriate size.
7. The control unit had no traces of repair (soldering), emulsions from possible moisture ingress.
All this pointed to a blatant, horribly executed repair. And this is in Europe!!! With their assurance that everything was OK with the mechanical part, the problem was with the electrics!
And most importantly, while driving, I did not even imagine that at any moment, a rail repaired in this way could cause a serious accident!!!
By steering specialists.by during the next day, work was carried out to bring the rail into working factory condition by replacing it with new and contract (in perfect condition) original s/h using a special lubricant. After the repair, I felt the same car again, as before the breakdown. Throughout the entire repair process, all the necessary information was provided with photo and video reports. We provided a 12-month warranty.

I contacted the service with the problem of an electronic rack on a Porsche Macan, because there was no specialist in Gomel who could do it. Many thanks to the guys for their professionalism! There was an extraneous sound in the car when twisting the steering wheel two turns. The official service station said that there was a problem with the steering rack and offered to remove it and send it to a third-party organization for defects, the cost is high. It's good that I decided to get another opinion and called Mikhail, he immediately said that most likely it wasn't about the rail.
